They further stated that the sellers agent would need to be additionally paid .5%. The second interview was with the Realtor that sold us the house 25 plus years prior. Semi retired. We decided not to go with him due to his underwhelming valuation for our home. We had the sense that he was not truly on his best game and possibly just looking to make a quick buck. Now the third, well let's just say that Dave Miller is 'the goods'. An easy going fellow with a demeanor that brings a sense of calm and seasoned confidence to the transaction. Dave's fee schedule for listing and selling our home was reasonable compared to industry norms. On top of that Dave stated right away that the fee/percentage quoted would be divided equitably with the buyers agent. (The old school way) This takes pressure off of the buyers as they will not have the added expense of paying their agents fee. At this point Dave 'had the job'. Dave also provided another alternative. That was his Realtor/Broker services in a transactional capacity only, if we found a buyer ourselves. It just so happened that with a little legwork, we were able to find a buyer while our home was still off-market. For this Dave only charged a fraction of the percentage quoted for utilizing his full services. I highly recommend Dave Miller for his experience and overall mellow demeanor. I would also like to mention that Dave's communication was exemplary. Whether by text, phone or email, he remained 100% communicative right to the end. Left out information about the house which resulted in us losing the home even after sending a wire transfer. The whole situation and how they went about it was very sketchy and scammy. We did not hear from them in over a week, didn't answer emails and avoided questions, didn't answer the phone. Just awful. They redacted the original paperwork and changed wording once we found out there was no CO on the house. Luckily my lawyer caught the change. This explains why they avoided questions and communication. We worked with the owner, Matthew who is completely unprofessional and not forthcoming - a liar. If you see this company selling a home, RUN!

We had a few instances when our unit was not properly secured. when it came down to our need to end our listing earlier so that we could focus on renting our unit, he focused his interests over ours; rather than helping us by being flexible which would have made us consider doing business with him in the future, he was quite rigid. He did not leave me feeling like he cared, I would not recommend and definitely don't get talked into signing a 6 month listing agreement.
