In the beginning of my pregnancy, I was worried that I chose the wrong doctor however, on December 1st Dr. Kevin Galistyan delivered my sweet baby girl by c-section. Dr. Galistyan is very educated and knowledgeable man! He took the best care of me and my baby. My and Dr. Galistyan's initial plan was natural birth, however due to complications we had to make a choice going to cesarean section at 39 weeks! My family and I are beyond grateful his fast and professional take on my situation. The only negative thing I have experienced this 9 months, was the wait time. He is a busy man so wait time can be more than an hour to see him. After you get less than 5minutes with him. So if you like someone who talks to you and has time for chitchat choose a different doctor. ‍

Our best Doctor! I am grateful to fate that Dr. Galstyan became my gynecologist. After not having a baby for 7 years, there is no need to describe what could have been the right and literate doctor for us. During the first months of my pregnancy, he literally did a wonderful job and managed my whole pregnancy with his light hand. Always positive, a smile on his face, a light and positive person. What else does a pregnant woman need for a quiet pregnancy? And his professionalism finally grew during the birth. Indescribably easy delivery. His staff is no less friendly and literate. We thank Dr. Kevin Galstyan for giving us our miracle. I can confidently advise you to choose him as your pregnancy doctor.

I love Dr. Kevin! I'm so so glad to have him as my OB as recommended by my co-worker. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He'll try to help you out with all your concerns. I did not have my insurance yet when I first saw him but he made sure we won't have to pay for anything so he told us what we could do. He even gave me prenatals! He's such a cool doctor. I've always felt comfortable from my very first visit. He seems pretty busy most of the time but he took good care of me and my baby. He even jokes around every time we came! I highly recommend him to everyone. He's the best!!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kevin Galstyan, OBGYN. He has been a remarkable part of our family's journey for more than 14 years. He delivered my first daughter 14 years ago, was the doctor again for my second daughter 11 years ago, and now he is the same ingenious and caring doctor who helped bring my newborn son into the world. Dr. Galstyan is an amazing doctor! He was always very patient during all of my visits, always answered all if my questions. He made the whole process very easy and literally no stress. Dr. Galstyan is truly exceptional! From the moment I entered the doors to the office, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. Dr. Galstyan has gone above and beyond to be sure that my complete health and wellness and pregnancy with my twin girls have been made first priority. Every follow up appointment was in timely matter and every in clinic appointment was fast and detailful. He goes out of his way and explains your pregnancy very detailful and answers every question with love and care. He is extremely knowledgable and personable. I never was made to wait. And if ever I needed to contact him or his staff, they were super speedy in responding by my inquiries. I would highly recommend Dr. Galstyan. He's very professional and reliable. He safely delivered my first baby naturally exactly at the time he predicted (he was off by only 15 minutes). I had a healthy pregnancy and appointments were very short. Unfortunately the wait time is a little bit long, but it is a testament to how many patients choose him as their OB. Reception is very helpful and a nurse is always available to answer any questions between appointments. read more

Dr.Galstyan has delivered both my boys one was regular delivery the other one c-section. When my insurance changed I made sure to change it back so I could have him as my ob. He was amazing both times. I had such an amazing c-section experience he always made sure I was ok. When he came in to tell me that my son would have to be delivered c-section he was very detailed as to why and the cons if he was not. He gave me peace of mind. He cares for his patients and is always looking for the best outcome. I think many times people forget that they are doctors who are on call for any reason and sometimes yes the wait time in the office is a little more than expected but his care and attention to detail is amazing. 10 out of 10 recommend. read more

Do not recommend this doctor to any women! The doctor seems more concerned about getting to his next patient without addressing my concerns or questions regarding my pregnancy and health. This was my first pregnancy and I would never choose this place or recommend this doctor to anyone. I should also mention that during my last visit when I asked the the doctor questions he brushed me off in a rude demeanor by saying " Don't argue with me and go to the hospital" as he walked out of the room. I walked out of that office and never looked back. I went to a different doctor. Moreover, after changing my doctor I obtained my medical records and discovered that he falsified information to make his case of labeling me as a "high risk pregnancy". I'm a healthy 26 year old with my first pregnancy. No pregnant women should endure this kind of unprofessional and unethical obgyn. I filed a grievance with my health care provider after my last visit about this doctor and my experience. I will make sure to post about my experience using all outlets and platforms to inform other mothers to be. I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. I would give ZERO star but the system doesn't allow. read more

Dr Kevin galstyan is really a great dr! I somehow randomly landed into his care and didn't think anything of it. Appointments went by, he was really nice and so on and so forth. It wasn't really until my delivery where i really learned what a great human and dr this man is. I had scheduled c section but the baby came a little early and he ended up doing a quick emergency c section on me . During the surgery he did mention to me that i had prior damage done from my two previous c sections. He took his time one by one fixing every single mistake of another doctor inside me and really took the time to fix me up and endured i was well taken care of. At the end of surgery he came held my hand and told me he will see me in a little and then i met my baby. Dr visited me every morning while i stayed in the hospital. He has great bedside manner and is a very great listener. I got stapled for my c section and was told by him to come back in 2 weeks for removal to ensure my wounds heal correctly because i had issues with other c sections and he understood my concerns and fears . If I could give 10 stars I would. Doctors office is great, he is a great doctor and my wife had an incredible experience with him as her doctor. Hopefully in the future we can have Dr. Galstyan to deliver another baby for us again. read more

Best OB in the valley! Just had my second baby and Dr Galstyan who also delivered my new blessing. Had such a great experience the first time, I had to stick w him for the second one and definitely will be returning for the next ones Dr Galstyan makes you feel comfortable and answers all your doubts and questions. Where do I begin, well what can I say other then Dr. Galstyan is the best. He has been my OBGYN for five years now and he has delivered my three babies. The staff at the office is excellent, especially Yesenia and Ana. They always answered my questions and always called me back whenever I would leave a message. Dr. Galstyan is an extremely great doctor, he's friendly, he cares about your well-being and he's also funny which helps you feel very comfortable. He is a doctor that you know will take great care of you and deliver your babies with such great care as well. I wouldn't change my doctor for anything in the world. He is an excelente OBGYN! I had my 1st baby one week ago and my experience was amazing. I thought long and hard about who I would trust with this journey and I kept coming back to Dr.Galstyan and I don't regret my decision even for one bit. Aside being a great doctor he is an amazing human, all my questions were always answered and I was never left uncertain with any topic.Even when things felt rough Dr.Galstyan always gave me reassurance.I am already looking forward to hopefully having my second baby and being under his care. Very upset with the "rush through the visit" attitude of Dr. Kevin Galstyan. Perhaps, he was having a bad day or overwhelmed with work, but being rude and careless with the patient is a big "no". I was extremely upset after the visit. I was hurt and cried in my car. His question "why are you here" sounded terrible! He did not care to listen to me, was abrupt, impolite. I have never felt so insulted by a doctor before. It felt like I was a such a burden to deal with, but I didn't have even much to say; it was just a yearly check-up visit. An annoyance with the system or other illiterate doctors should not be projected on a patient. read more

Dr. Galstyan has been my wife's OBGYN for a year now and i'm very grateful for my friends who recommended him. My wife had a c-section 13 days ago and gave birth to our beautiful baby boy and she is extremely happy with her experience. Office visits have always been very comfortable and his office staff super friendly and helpful. Dr. Galstyan is a very knowledgeable, amazingly responsive, very emphatic and with all the professionalism has an amazing humor. He always made sure my wife is very comfortable during the exams and always gives detailed answers to any question she may had. His nurse Anna is the one and only amazing person we have ever met at any doctor's office. She was always there for us. My experience with Dr. Galstyan was AM. He is the best. I had a very hard and complicated pregnancy, went through a lot and without dr Galstyan I would not make it for safe delivery. I'm so thankful to him for everything he did so that my precious baby boy was born on time 39 weeks on July 23 2019. He did my cervical cerclage when I was 26 week pregnant. I had kidney infection and gallbladder stones so there was a big possibility of early labor. He was very careful and extremely caring during the whole pregnancy, and even when Dr. Galstyan was on vacation outside US he was giving directions to the nurses. My delivery was a great experience for me and after 3-4 hours I was on my feet,and I was not even feeling I just delivered baby. With my older son I had a different doctor and I would say I was in pain for 10 days after delivery (my first baby was born 36 weeks and was only 5,9pound). Dr. Galstyan is amazing and professional doctor that you can trust hundred percent. read more

Thank you Dr. Kevin Galstyan for everything you did for my wife's safe delivery! It's a baby boy! You are the best! With my first one I was at risk for premature birth but thanks to Dr. Galstyan's professionalism and careful observation I had him full term. Dr Galstyan delivered both my babies and I am very happy I chose him to be my doctor. He is very caring and pays attention to your concerns, his fast moving paced is what I love the most because He doesn't like waisting time and goes straight to the point. I had such an amazing experience with Dr Galstyan! First of all, he's an excellent doctor. Second, he's a very good person. He and his stuff are attentive to all patients. Another huge plus for those who don't speak English well is that the doctor is fluent in two other languages: Armenian and Russian. This was my first experience in childbirth and my first baby. The best Doctor ever iam very thankful I came to dr Kevin for my second baby he is honestly the best. He takes your time with you and is not in a rush to see the next patient. My delivery was super fast and everything came out good thank god. The staff at his office are awesome very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. The back office medical Assistant Yesenia is the sweetest. I will definitely be coming to him for my next pregnancy. And let me tell you Glendale memorial hospital is by far my favorite hospital super clean and nurses are on top of everything you may need or need help with. It was an amazing journey and experience during 9 month of my pregnancy with Dr. Kevin Galstyan. Thanks to him and his amazing staff for EVERYTHING. - for wonderful service each and every time. I referred to him from a lot of my friends. And even for a second I never regret about my choice oF the OBGYN DOCTOR He got my labor started from the 6th week of my pregnancy. He was the only doctor whom I called and he gave me very early appointment. Every single time he was accepting us (my husband was always with me) on time and checked me very carefully., explaining me every single concern that I had. Moreover, a lot of people say that he loved to push his patients to C sections . Come on girls its a lie . Even I asked him to go to c section as it was my first baby and i was afraid . Even after all my requests for c section he refused to do it since he believed that i would deliver the baby very easy by natural was. And yes on September 23th i delivered my baby and there was no need for c section. Moreover a lot of people say that he is rushing and not spending a lot of time with them . But again come on he is a doctor do you ever seen a doctor who is not rushing . And also he has a lot of patients but he never miss even one appointment and don't answer to your question. His care and support will mean for any pregnant woman a world. He is always available for you. Easy going and easy reachable person. About my delivery day I was extremely happy he came to see me checked me and exactly when he predicted when i will start my labor . And I delivered my baby very easy because of his professionalism even I don't have any postpartum pains . Its all again says about his professionalism. Dr. Galstyan is the most amazing doctors i ve ever met THANK YOU HIM FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART I highly highly recommend this doctor and please don't listen to the rumors about him that all just because of anger and envy. P.s. oh i forget about his staff Anna she is the best and Mony also. And during my delivery day The hospitals nurse Ani Keryan is also veey clever and kind girl. Worst experience of my life. Refused to see me for a simple consultation because I declined a procedure until I understood why It was necessary for a consultation. Completely ignored me and walked away in the nurses office. Will never go to him for anything. read more

Unheard of in modern medicine, when you call their office after-hours and connect with the emergency line, the phone rings at Dr. H's house. They trust their patients not to abuse that access; but the small number of times that my family needed it, Peggy and Dr. H were on the other end of the line, providing useful information and reassurance, even at 4AM. My experience as a patient of Dr. H's played no small role in my own journey towards becoming a physician. I often find myself trying to recall one of his totally unique and pithy one-liner jokes when I need to break the ice with a new patient. Family practices like this one are virtually impossible to find these days. The world would be a much better place if everyone had a medical team like Dr. Horowitz and Peggy.

With covid and how things are run differently now, communication is KEY! Peggy sent me all the health forms that needed to be completed in a timely manner via email. She was wonderful at responding to my emails, and she made things so easy! They went out of their way to see me in person in a really short notice as my visit required necessary clearance for my nursing program. They only have certain days for appointments but she made an exception for me as my work schedule conflicted with their in-person office visits. Peggy also sent me my labs on a Saturday as I requested if she could send it to me as soon as they receive it.. they are closed on Saturdays and she did that for me (I am so grateful!). I also want to say that I drove from Monterey Park to Dr. Horowitz's office on a Friday during the time that there is so much traffic (traffic alone in this area if you already know is hideous) but I would do it again! Thank you so much Peggy and Dr. Horowitz!!

Dr.Galstyan is AWESOME!!! After having the worst experience with another OB that delivered my first son GOD sent Dr.Galstyan to me. By Experience Dr. Galstyan is the best! From the first visit to the delivery to the follow up appointment. So much to say about how he took care of me while I was in labor, delivery and even after delivery. He saw me everyday I was in the hospital, EVERYDAY!!! He took his time to stop by my room to see how I was doing. Not just one day, not just say Hello & glanced at my charts, he actually sat down and asked how I was doing and said, see you tomorrow ( SHOCKING ) Dr. Galstyan is so kind and intelligent and his Experience in the Medical Field made me feel at ease to know he was my Dr. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He was my Dr. for my second pregnancy. He was super polite and courteous and always with a great sense of humor. Even though he is a male Dr. he made me feel like I could ask him anything and not feel judged. No question was a stupid question for him!!!! What I loved about him was that I got an ultrasound at every single one of my visits. From what I remember from my first pregnancy I only got 2. I loved that when he was called for a delivery he would rush out I felt good about that because I knew one day he was going to do that for me. Which he did. From my previous pregnancy the Dr. that I saw for 40 weeks did not deliver my baby to where as Dr. Galstyan he was my Dr. for my 39 weeks and was there to bring my second bundle of joy into this world which I am very grateful for. I would recommend my family members with him, He is very polite and makes you feel relaxed instead of tense or nervous in your check ups. To him you are a individual not a number. He actually remember my name at all my visits without having to look at the chart. I LOVE dr.galstyan HIm and His staff are the best at what they do (deliviring healthy babies and providing great help to his Ob patients). Although his nurse Needs to improve on her customer/communication skills, she comes off as rude Dr.galstyan and the other MA make up for it. He is professional, humurous,and smart. He never kept a doubt in my mind. He answered all of my questions re: my birth and all my concerns. even though he looks like hes always busy (because he is) he always has the time to sit,explain, and comfort you. I didnt mind the appt cancellations because I knew he would be there for me at the time of my delivery. which he was. dr.kevin galstyan never ever once told me to get a c/section, he never mentioned it, or tried to force it on me. On my first appt he asked what kind of birth i was thinking of having which i explained w/ "I want a natural birth" and he provided for me w/ excellency. Dr. Kevin Galstyan was my doctor during my two pregnancies!! I need to say I have had an amazing experience both times! 3 weeks ago I had my second boy with C-section. First of all, during my entire pregnancy Dr. Galstyan was very caring, professional, punctual and so knowledgeable !!! None of my questions ever remained unanswered!!! Second , he was monitoring me and the baby constantly and at the highest level, making sure I am getting all of my tests, ultrasounds, medication orders on time!!! Third, he perfectly determined the time for the delivery, just week before my actual due date. It was perfect timing, not too soon not too late. Finally, he is the master of C-section. My surgery was so quick and easy!!! Unbelievable!!! After 10 hours of my C-section I was able to walk. My incision was perfectly fine, I didn't have any complications, whoever was seeing me in the hospital, were thinking I delivered naturally, as I was very active and had no pain. It has been third week already, my incision gets less and less noticeable!!! I feel amazing and my baby is doing great. The BEST Doctor Doctor Galstyan has been my OBGYN for 7 years and I am very thankful for having my 3 babies under his care. I had a 2 natural deliveries and just recently I had a c-section. Dr. Galstyan is very knowledgeable, gives detailed explanations for any questions and has an amazing humor. During all my pregnancies he took a great care of me, made my deliveries easier and took a good care of me after delivery. Dr. Galstyan speaks English, Armenian and Russian which makes easy to communicate with him. I have been in his 2 locations and got a good care from him and from his staff, especially Ana, Yesenya and Ruzan who directly works with Dr. Galstyan. Where do i even start. Doctor Galstyan SAVED MY LIFE to say the least. I was diagnosed with Placenta Accreta, a life threatening condition but thanks to doctor Galstyan i survived. I can never thank him enough for safely delivering my twins and taking such good care of me. He was always there to answer my questions (and i had a lot) and always made me feel safe. He's very professional, carrying and he always took time to explain things to me ( I was his "trouble maker " patient like he liked to call me lol) i had a very complicated pregnancy and I'm so thankful he was my doctor. Best doctor I have had. He is truly a miracle worker. I came to him after my former doctor told me I had a miscarriage. Dr. Galstyan is the best doctor I have ever had. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and experienced. He has been my doctor for over five years and has delivered both of my babies (vaginal and c section). He has also performed surgery on me.
