I'm sure I've forgotten a few others but every single person that is working in that office is supportive, kind, empathetic, and understands that they are part of someone else's integral story. Each time I visited the office, there was meditation music playing and it was warm and cozy, plus there were beverages offered as well as a smile. From heartwarming quotes, to funny anecdotes on a whiteboard, to dim-lit exam rooms to ease anxiety and light meditation music to soothe nerves, to painless blood tests and fun and sweet band-aids, attention to detail is *chef's kiss* It's like being nervous for a high-school exam but once you arrive, you know you have support and you can leave feeling like you aced it. I can't say enough how warm and inviting and knowledgeable each person is that works there. Meeting the doctor and nurse and receiving a warm greeting and hug was the cherry on top. It's not clinical or cold (in comparison to the Farmington location - yikes). Farmington feels icy and stark, plus - disorganized and like we are cattle with a number. Truly - if I never had to visit Farmington CARS, that would be great. The Hartford location is the exact opposite. I'm grateful that this journey had so many friendly faces. Love CARS - Hartford!!

My experience was very similar to last time which involved a near painless experience, outstanding attention to detail and surgical care, as well as world class follow up care and communication. I can't recommend hair surgery and Dr. Boden enough. He is masterful and I am thrilled to be able to maintain a full head of hair thanks to modern technology and the expertise of Dr. Boden and his staff.

The consultation was in-depth, informative, and in no way trying to coerce me into any specific treatment for my hair loss. I ended up wanting a hair transplant, and Dr. Boden recommended the FUT procedure. Dr. Boden and his staff were readily available if I had questions, and they were proactive with communicating during the time between my consultation and procedure. On the day of the procedure, everything was focused on making me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Boden and his team were attentive and frequently checked in to ensure I was not in any pain or discomfort. In all honesty, the procedure was relaxing and as pleasant as a procedure like a hair transplant could possibly be. An anecdotal example of Dr. Boden caring about my comfort is when he noticed discomfort in my eye. He had me take a break and he examined my eye, finding something stuck in it. He made sure to give me contact information for optometrists near my hometown and later called me personally to check on how my eye appointment went. The post operation procedure was clearly communicated, and I was given all materials needed follow the post-op care plan. Surprisingly, the pain level was completely manageable and as long as I took the ibuprofen, my post operation pain was minimal. Dr. Boden called to check in on me the day after the procedure to make sure there were no concerns on my end. Two weeks after the procedure, the stitching from where the follicles were removed were taken out, and Dr. Boden examined my scalp to ensure the healing process was going as planned. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant medical procedures I have ever had. Dr. Boden is a class act, and his team, from the front desk, to surgical assistants, are top notch. I would not hesitate to go back to this practice if I ever wanted a procedure again.

Of course they are not thrilled with the food because they are always given food without any salt on it per doctor's orders. The hospital is always clean too. I Kept asking for ativan and the nurses joked to each other about me asking for it saying "They needed ativan". Anyways, as I was saying, the chime on the wall was accompined by a call asking for an ambulance in code. It took her asking like 20 times when I was on the verge of passing out for them to transfer me to a place that was like 5 minutes away, Mount Sinai. The EMT girl on the way hit my arm and left a bruise, when I told her I was nauseous she ripped open an alcohol swab and stuck it in my face, acting like I was a know-it-all saying, "Oh I thought you knew this" she then said she was gonna "sit This was an absolute nightmare, my mrn number was 1835555, and when I was admitted I was in crisis. There needs to be 1000% more accountability in these work settings, other countries aren't like this. Shout-out Matt and Julia. 1 star, I basically did everything myself at one of my weakest times of my life.
