Had an appointment for an alignment based on a recommendation. Was about normal price for a front and back alignment, not sure what the ten dollar shop charge is for. To be honest FootHill Ford was not my first choice, but with their selection of inventory for the 2023 F150 I was specifically looking for was perfect. I looked around, shopped, I wanted the biggest bang for the buck, even if I had to bend on my "wants". Luckily I didn't have to, Kevin Powell's Foothill Ford gave me a "crazy" price I couldn't refuse or anyone beat. Beyond the price, the staff was professional, went above and beyond getting me the best possible interest rate, and military discounts. Dillon is an up and coming sales man, Isreal, a down to Earth, laid back manager, no pressure approach. Jon, another manager, he knew his stuff. Many times during the process he made it clear he wanted our business including giving us what our trade was worth and then sold us a 2023 Ford F150 Lariat at an insanely "CRAZY" price. I look forward to having my service work done there by their several Ford Master techs, even though I will only need my oil and such changed. I was charged $1307 for repairs that was done that should have costed at most $600. I told the mechanic to repair the timing. Instead of checking the timing, they replaced spark plugs, checked the cylinder compression,, fuel rail pressure, all unnecessary, all before checking the timing. Then at that point proceeded to repair what I told them to from the beginning. $95 for a $55 belt, and $65 for a $20 spark plugs. 7 hrs at $135 per hr. Overcharged all the way across the board. My advice is to you. Take your business elsewhere! Tell everyone to stay away. Pass poor business practices. read more

I have to say, when I'm told that a vehicle with cigarette holes burned out in the upholstery is worth $19,999.00 according NADA, I go on NADA and check the retail price in front of them and show them the vehicle worth was $17,515.00..... it felt good to look them in the eye and tell them they lied to my face. Salesperson was nice but never make promises over the phone it's bad business! My time is valuable just like anyone else, so you can't help everyone as your ad states. I bought my van from Kevin Powell and it is missing parts and they refuse to fix it or even help. When i call the service department they act like they dont believe anything i say or the shop i have had my van in. I would never recommend someone to buy a car from them. They rip you off. I have had my van a little over a year and this is the 2nd time i have had my van in the shop with problem that Kevin Powell would not do anything about. I was lucky last time the dodge place fixed it for free but this time im going to be paying 5 or 6 hundred dollars to fix a problem they knew about when they sold the van... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would but then I wouldn't be able to write a review to potentially warn others of this terrible car dealership. For starters, upon applying for a car I had told them and proved to them that I had a legal name change so therefore the loan should reflect the proper name. I was ignored. Oblivious to the fact that it would later help them to avoid paying to register the vehicle and inadvertently keeping the money i paid to have them register it. Not only that but when I asked them how I could register the vehicle I do not have a title for it was crickets. More maliciously they did not disclose to me that the car had been in a major accident. The repairs were done terribly and now I am dealing with costs I shouldn't have to foot the bill for considering I am not the one who caused damage to the vehicle. Not only that but whoever did the repair did not put the car back together properly there is still damage to the wheel well as well as the drivers side door does not line up with the cars body. Also the windows work on that side when they feel like it and always make a loud clunk when they do work. Recalls were also not disclosed. The vehicle was previously owned by a member of their sales team, the one who sold me the car. So the person that is ignoring me is the previous owner. I am absolutely disgusted with this company and I will never ever do business with them again. Furthermore I will be contacting corporate. I have been ignored for over a month now. read more

Asked to see vehicles in our price range. Shown some to find out they were not even close. Several thousand higher. Asked Bo several times to get his price list. But he has them memorized. Not. They only offered $750 for our trade in vs the $5000 advertised. And JR was very rude about it. We will not return ever. Much better deals and honest sales tactics elsewhere. read more

#BaitAndSwitch I was told over the phone that they have a program where you can buy a car for as little as $11 down and $146 a month. They run my credit and come back to me saying that I have non existant credit score. I pulled up my last email from Credit Karma that shows a 633 credit score. Its not the greatest, but its certainly not non existant. Kathy the sales manager said Credit Karma is not affiliated with the credit bureaus and that she doesnt know where they get their numbers. This is flat out a lie because no sooner did they check my credit score, Credit Karma was emailing me informing me of a the credit hit. They then said I would need to put down $1500 and pay $350 bux a month and that I had no choice in waving their maintenance plan. I had to buy it. I drove an hour and half to get to this place only for them to bait and switch. Such unscrupulous sales tactics. Do not waste your time!! read more

Got absolutely nothing for my trade-in instead of $4,000 above value (didn't even get value after all paperwork was done)! Ended up financing more than the cost of the new car. They keep sending maintenance coupons advertising no appointment necessary, but couldn't even get my oil changed. What a joke!!!!! I will never step foot on their lot again. So need a new car, ours finally needs to be put to rest. Drove up from Greensboro after hearing the Crazy Kevin Powell ads on the radio and thinking we might be able to get a good deal. The "Salesmen" were all lurking outside eating and smoking. The car lot isn't even paved, it's all gravel and seemed more like a buy here, pay here place. The only cars that were clean were the Mustang and Corvette. Upon arrival we asked for Todd whom we had been told to speak too previously. We were I formed he wasn't there and we were approached by a not so nice salesman who didn't introduce himself. We asked to look at a couple of cars and were told we could look at the outside but to actually drive or get inside we would have to give them our financial information. We thought that odd as we hadn't even come to the point where we wanted any of those vehicles, this was the being of the process, not the end?! Needless to say we didn't give him that info. It seems that they are more interested in selling financing than actually selling any vehicles. We will not be buying from Crazy Kevin Powell, and buyer beware. At least we got to see Pilot Mountain and the flowering trees so the trip wasn't a complete waste. read more
