I simply could not say enough good things about Kevin. We have bought and sold a few properties in the past few years due to job changes and moves. Kevin was the fourth agent we worked with. He showed us how a great agent could be like and we learnt a lot of new things from him that we never knew from our previous buying and selling experiences. We started working with Kevin in early August and we closed the house we bought in mid-November. We had a great experience working with him. Kevin is VERY PROFESSIONAL. He always found as much information as possible about the houses we would visit ahead of time and walk us through the pros and cons of each property very patiently and in great details. Kevin always arrives early for our appointments. When working with Kevin, we almost never have to reach out to him to ask for an update. He is super good at keeping us updated through email, text messages, and phone calls, depending on the urgency and importance of the matters. If we scheduled time for a phone call, Kevin would call us at the very minute of the appointment. For every offer we made, Kevin went through the contracts to explain each document to us, and we learnt so much when working with him. Kevin is very knowledgeable and skillful at what he is doing. Growing up in San Diego and having families and friends in different areas, Kevin knows the neighborhoods we are interested in really well. We looked at a house across the street from his mom's place and another one that is behind his brother's house. He also knows many of the local agent and is very good at building relationships with the selling agent even if he did not know the person before. On top of his agent duties, Kevin also gives great personal advice. We came to the market expecting to buy a house in two weeks. Kevin noticed that our expectations may not be realistic and suggested that we take our time and look at more houses. We encountered a few houses that we liked but had unpermitted construction problems. Kevin was very subjective and warned us about all the potential risks. When we compete with other buyers, Kevin also did not recommend keeping adding the prices. Instead, he would make other terms very clean and attractive. One time, he even offered part of his commission to the sellers to help us win the offer. Even though we lost two offers during the search, our family are all very happy with the house we ended up buying. Actually, it is also cheaper than the two houses that we lost the offers on. As a working mom, I typically would not bother to write reviews, especially that we just recently moved and have a lot of things going on in the house. But Kevin is so great and helped us so well that I am willing to take hours to write this recommendation for him.
