In the past year and a half my appts have been cancelled last minute due to hygienists leaving (and that is after making the appt. six months in advance/taking time off from work) and when you call to reschedule it's very business/corporate feel. I am sad at this reality but an currently looking for a different practice to move my family.

Needless to say I ran a little late, 10 minutes to be exact. They said they would try to get to me but they actually had no plan to do so. Behind the scenes the female supervisor canceled my appointment and adjusted the schedule without telling me while they rushed through my sons cleaning. My appointment was at 0800am, it was just before 0800am that my sons cleaning was finished so why were they telling me I couldnt be seen? When I got back in my car to leave it was 0759am. Unacceptable.

The parents couldn't find that. But apparently Dr. Goodwin got upset or mad or something and said they should find someone else to do that kids fillings. But the other kids could get their fillings done with him.. I find that a bit weird. Since I used to be terrified of the needles, and did cry, but was never sent away for fillings. And it's hard enough finding a good dentist, but finding another one just for fillings?

Dr. Monaco is the wizard of prosthodontics!!!…read more I had a beyond dreadful set of dentures when I went to see him. I now have a gorgeous smile and can even eat an apple again!!! I did have implants put into my lower jaw because that lower denture is famous for sliding around in your mouth as the ridge recedes that it needs to grip. Implants snap into matching "snaps" inside the lower denture securing it FIRMLY in your mouth!! It's a life-changing experience!! The ability to chew again?? Priceless!!

Even the hygienist was very kind and patient with our 5 year old child. Our child did not have any cavities or dental concerns so we scheduled a return visit for the following year. Our second visit was today and we had a horrible experience. We met with a different hygienist than before and she was rude, inpatient and made our child feel extremely uncomfortable with her remarks. Our child was nervous and started crying when the hygienist came in. Instead of being calm and patient, the hygienist told our child if she did not stop crying " Mommy would have to wait in the waiting room." Then she proceeded to call another hygienist in and told me to hold my child down so they could brush her teeth. I said, ABSOLUTELY NOT! If my child is nervous, why would I restrain her? That sounds very aggressive and abusive to me. I told the hygienist that we can cancel the appointment or try again another time. She walked us to the checkout area. As we were checking out I asked to schedule an appointment with Dr. Young ( the first doctor we saw). The secretary was nice and said she would do it, but before she could put the appointment in Dr. Michael B. Quigley came out and refused to let us reschedule our appointment. His exact words were " If your child cannot handle seeing different providers maybe you should go somewhere else to a smaller, more private practice." I said " Are you refusing us services? " He said " We are not going to reschedule you." He also proceeded to tell me he owns the practice. His racist undertone was disturbing to say the least. I would never go back there again. Dr. Michael B. Quigley and the hygienist we saw today owe our family an apology. The way they treated my child and I was unacceptable.
