We recently purchased her first car (used) and it came with some scratches...like cars can pick up through the years. I scheduled an appointment to detail my fiancée's car for Mother's Day. There was a weather delay but Kevin was very prompt and flexible in dealing with it. He was very communicative and was very professional when he showed up. He just recently acquired a water tank so he didnt need to use my water. Kevin was easy to talk to and schedule the cleaning but I am not thriled with the final product. He did have to do some extra work on the car as there was a lot of adhesive residue that needed to be removed but all of this was dicused prior to the appointment being made and he was on board with it. In general the car is much cleaner now than it was but there are stil very obvious dirty areas around, inside and out. Bumper, wheel wells, running boards, and area under hood by the windhsield wipers all have caked on dirt still like they weren't touched. The windows do not look like they were cleaned on the outside and there are fingerprints on the center console inside the car. Like I said, car looks better than before but I expected it to be better. Kevin did a good job removing the adhesive residue and even made a trip to the store mid-wash to get a better product to use. I imagine the car may have been cleaned better in the end if the adhesive didn't take so much time. read more

I justbought this car over the weekend and dropped it off yesterday to get it fully detailed today because I didn't want to drive around in a dirty car, SUPER disappointed with the "work" that was done. I paid $60 to get my seats shampooed and vacuumed. The results were not good. After a couple of days after the seats dried, they didn't look any different than before. It looks like the seats were simply sprayed wet with a cleaner then vacuumed, no sort of agitating with any cleaner. Some overspray looks to have gotten on my floor mats. He came to my house, which was about 30 minutes away from his place, and spent 3 hours detailing the outside and inside of my Sienna mini-van. His schedule was pretty open, so I got an appointment on a Saturday morning about a week after I called. He subsequently did two of my other cars 2 weeks later, with the same attention to detail. The local auto detailers in McLean, Falls Church and Vienna charge as high as twice as much. Highly recommended. I expect he will need to expand his business once his clientele base increases. And, the car was pretty dirty--it's a difficult car to use regular car washes for because it's too narrow for the brushes to actually touch and winter is a bad time for hand washing. The car looks ok, but not much better than a standard car wash. Interior surfaces had quite a few stains that I easily wiped off after he left. Paint looked the same as before he got there. Carpet still had a milk stain that occured the night before. I went behind him and cleaned that up myself. I thought this was pretty poor quality for $200.
