Tried White Horse Car Wash today. It's a physically difficult job, usually done by young people and others who are just starting out. There may be high turnover as well. It was a busy Saturday and they were hustling. I didn't understand why there was a long line of CLEAN cars ahead of me! Turns out there are two distinct choices...exterior only and both exterior and interior cleaning. That line was for the interior details and I was shown the second line for the initial mechanical wash. There was a "hold up" by a customer who was negotiating a monthly contract. After a while I signaled someone who immediately explained the situation and got things moving. They have a helpful laminated card to help choose your items of service. I just wanted a wash with ceramic coating. What impressed me was the pressure blast of water offered prior to entering the mechanical wash. I requested they aim it at the rear of my Prius as that's where my car picks up dirt deposits. They sprayed other areas as well, and my car came out super clean. I very much liked their basic service and will return as they are much better than the car wash near my home in West Alexandria. read more

I am writing this to report a disturbing lack of professional accountability and human respect at this location. Regardless of how much a customer pays, there is a baseline of service and respect that should be non-negotiable. Today, that baseline was nonexistent. At 8:15 AM, I encountered a significant communication barrier with two employees who were dismissive and entirely uninterested in my concerns. When I requested to speak with the supervisor to resolve the matter, the situation became even more unprofessional. The supervisor's body language was disgraceful--he was completely dismissive and made it clear he had no intention of actually addressing my concerns or the behavior of his staff. Most alarming was the total refusal of accountability. When I asked for names to document this interaction, the supervisor flatly refused to provide his name or the names of the employees involved. This level of secrecy is a massive red flag. What is this management team hiding? Why is a supervisor at a public business refusing to identify himself to a customer? This "secretive" and disrespectful culture is unacceptable. I am seeking a direct conversation with the owner of White Horse Auto Wash to discuss why his leadership team feels they are above providing their names or basic respect to the customers they serve. My mom has glasses in her car that's over 200$. The people who clean inside the car they took my mom glasses they were very expensive brands , they didn't take the glasses that aren't expensive brands. Please be careful when there is people cleaning your car.DON'T RECOMMEND!! read more

Upon reading some reviews here, I was concerned about returning to this car wash. I went there today and they did a fantastic job.. I did notice that there were more supervisors working with others in assisting that the cars were cleaned and clean quickly. I recommend this car wash highly! read more

Terrible wash job, worse customer service. I paid for their top service, less than 10 minutes later they were done...but not really. My rims were still dirty, truck half clean with the base completely dirty, partially wiped down and inside half vacuumed. I mentioned this to the technician and he told me to take it up with the manager! I gave them a try because they are close to my house and I had never been there before. So I did the meticulous package that starts at 75$ Which should include stuff in the lower package such as fragrance, but I truly smell nothing. That aside there were some apparent lacking in attention to detail (see images). This package includes a 15 min attention to detail spot. However, I'm not sure if that is something that I had to communicate with the workers as they didn't really ask me about it. That may be my responsibility nonetheless excluding that the image reflects the obvious spots that didn't need to be told. For the money i would say it isn't worth it, either go for a cheaper package or save a bit more and go to a independent detailer imo read more

I felt like everything was rushed and done halfway. there's a difference between being quick and efficient with good quality work but this was NOT that. Mirrors weren't wiped, rims still dirty, floor partially vacuumed, etc. And for $45!? You're better off taking the time to clean it yourself. read more

They did a crappy job on the wash on the hand wax and the back window of my truck wasn't even cleaned. Th backside of the truck wasn't even waxed. It was a big rip off. For 50 I could have gotten it probably detailed somewhere else the rest of the windows were streaked. Crappy job!! I need a refund. read more

I came in with a free wash offer and unfortunately, that's literally all I got. As a first time customer, I had no idea how anything worked, nothing was explained aside from optional upgrades for my undercarriage or wheels, which I declined. Before entering the wash, I asked the girl assisting me if they'd be wiping my car down after, and she hesitantly said that they should. That was the only info I got. After the wash, I tried to flag down a worker to double check, and he looked directly at me... and walked away. No help, no communication. I ended up sitting in a line for about five minutes waiting for clarity, only to have someone else come over and inform me that no, wipe downs aren't included with the wash I received. When I mentioned I'd just wasted my time sitting there, he actually laughed at me and said, "Yeah, you did." To make things weirder, he seemed genuinely confused about where I even got the free wash ticket and asked if it came from a dealership?? The whole interaction felt super weird. I get that it's a free wash, I wasn't expecting a full detail or vacuum. But a simple exterior wipe down feels like the bare minimum, not some luxurious extra. The wash itself was mediocre at best, and the complete lack of customer service just sealed the deal. The whole team clearly needs to get on the same page. One employee tells me one thing, another tells me something completely different. It was confusing, frustrating, and overall not worth my time. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

Upfront, this is a get'em in, get'em out carwash. If you want a quick carwash for under $40 but don't care if the details are left out, this is the place for you. Your car will shine and smell wonderfully; however, you will notice that large portions of the low traffic interior areas remain untouched. The entire process is about two to three stages, depending on which wash you purchase. At the start, entering from Jefferson Davis Hwy, you will pull around back of the washing garage. There you will choose your wash plan, then pull forward into the garage (remember to place your vehicle in neutral with you foot off the break so the belt can pull you through). Once on the other side, exit the garage and wait to pull around to one of the many detailing stalls. After you get into the stall, exit the vehicle so the guys can start their work. In total, it took 42 minutes for my car to go through the entire process. The wash was a generic garage carwash, but the detailing portion of my purchase was the most underwhelming of the entire process. Although my car smelled good and the large, more noticeable portions were sprayed and polished, the overall job was saddening once I looked closer. The cupholders were not even touched, the seats still had crumbs and doghair, the truck was not touched at all, the corners of the front dash was dusty, the windows were smudged, and the back dash under the back window still had the same layer of dust it did prior to the wash. Needless to say, I was not impressed. Overall, this is a generic carwash station. For $39 I got a 42 minute spray/wipe down of my vehicle. The staff was very nice and helpful and the waiting area, plus bathrooms, are clean and presentable. However, I will not be back for a service that I can do better myself. read more

Extremely slow. They appear to lack point of sale to cycle people through. For a simple car wash I was stuck in line for nearly 45 minutes. They have the line blocked off so once you're in line, there's no opportunity to leave. We will never return. read more

White horse I started to visit this establishment on and off since the original owners. Each had a slightly different flow and flaws to go with it. Anyone who knows me, knows I am extremely meticulous about my car's cleanliness. I only pay for the monthly exterior service, I drive it very little ever since Covid started. My visits to WH cap at 2-3 times a month. The entire process takes very long but the interior entailing line and process takes too long for me and for the little work I need. When I saw the new left lane for outside wash only, I thought, GREAT!! Hold up. Immediately I saw an issue in the horizon. I just didn't think I would be in the middle of it. Today after almost 1 hour waiting, I reached the split. Reluctant but I moved forward slowly. I saw the The lady to my right quickly moved forward when she saw me pull up. I said to myself, let me see how this pans out. Not good. Eventually I asked if she knew I was next. She didn't understand why. Then the guy from the car behind her started screaming at me. I got out the car and we went back and forth. Some younger staff found it funny and didn't handle the situation to closure the manager spoke to the Mr. X4 Rent-a-cOp and I agreed to give way to the lady but the guy kept trying to move forward. Finally manager came out to apologize and stood in front of the other guys car. By then it was too late. Damage was done. . At the end of the day, the guy was a "fill in the blank" but the way WH neglected to explain to folks, who waited in line since 6:45am for a wash, that someone who arrived at 7:45 and is only in line for an exterior wash can get a wash before them. Good luck trying to cancel your account(s). No one picks up from their phone number (no real person). The answering machine gives you no options but repeatedly mentions a website, without providing the address. Upon visiting the website, you are forced to fill out a web form to cancel, there is no other phone numbers. A real person responds to your request (perhaps the same day), only to tell you to go back to their website and notice there is a hidden button to cancel your account. Except that I also had a web page error when filling out that web form. These guys have been charging me multiple times, per month, for several months, for their services which I have not used for several months. Great passive income for them, how about the people that put money into their bank accounts? Unfortunately I did not learn the 1st time as I had cancelled another car wash account before joining White Horse, who also abused auto-renewal / rental membership processes such as not letting customers know they have not used their services, you know, for months. In the end, it takes ~30 minutes to wash/dry your own car. I wait that long in line at their car wash, on top of 40 minute round trip there. And they dont even dry (had the $25 monthly option). A much better option is the car wash across the street that does actual hand car wash/dry for $40 (DMV Hand Car Wash I believe was the name, also on Yelp!) that put in some quality work into the wash, but likewise also has a wait (on the weekends). read more

Will never go back. My keys were locked inside my car as they had just finished the inside and I was walking up to it. The younger kid was nice and went to look get help, while the man who had actually shut my car hence licking it sat their for 20 minutes doing nothing.. not apologizing, not trying to help the situation, not even helping at another station (they were busy). When I finally got back into the car I got a very short "sorry about that mam". We had an AMAZING experience at White Horse Car Wash. My wife and I were in search of a reasonably priced car detail for her 2016 Mazda 3. After stopping by and calling several places, we were getting quotes from $150 to $300 dollars! We decided to stop by White Horse and were directed to a nice gentleman who walked over to our car and gave us a reasonable and affordable price. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We had several employees working to ensure every spot and crack were cleaned. Afterwards the car was pulled into a bay where the gentleman (the owner?) worked on the car himself, scrubbing, shampooing, and cleaning. When we walked over to check on the car, it was like we were looking at a brand new car. The interior looked brand new and spotless, the exterior was shiny and flawless. Overall, the service was amazing, the results far above expectation, and the price was affordable. I would highly recommend White Horse car was for any car washes or detailing. We'll definitely return and look forward to making our next car looking brand new! read more

Terrible experience. I just finished washing my car and paid $39. However, the carpet was not vacuumed, the dust and debris on the cup holders were still there, and the dash & console had traces of wiping but stains remained. Door jambs and door panels also had stains. I recently moved to the Woodbridge area and was looking for a car wash. I saw several positive reviews related to this place and thought about signing up for a membership. But I decided to try it out. Not exactly the best set up. You drive around the building to get to the car wash, then the side of the building has the vacuuming. For a quick wash and vacuum, it's $21. Overall, it wasn't too bad. My car is still a little sudsy after the wash. They do a decent job with cleaning the inside of the car. I'd also just prefer to go somewhere else because there's always a long line, and I don't like how you have to circle back around and wait in another line for the vacuum. Update: I removed one star because when it rained two days later, there were water marks on my windshield that were obviously from the carwash. It was harder to see when driving. I don't know if this was from the type of wash I bought, but $21 isn't cheap. I'm going to another carwash to fix the blurry windshield. read more

First time going here and not sure I'd give them another chance. Overall it was a decent wash job, but definitely not as good as I was hoping. I just drove from Las Vegas to Virginia and yes there were a lot of bug guts, but even after the wash, there were still just as many! I paid for the meticulous wash which also included interior. They left a bottle of something inside my car, a stain where there wasn't one before, and smears still on drivers side front windshield. Dead bugs and bird poop still on the outside too.
