Although the price has change drastically (upward)....the consistency and quality of service remains on point. Yates is one of those car washes that you actually get a good wash and outcome of a clean car for it to be a machine wash. The service is quick, fast and very convenient. The secret here is not just in the machine wash, but the secret sauce is in how hard the workers that dry and detail your car afterwards perform. The folks here work really hard to clean your car inside and out. If not necessarily a full detail, but it's close to as if you paid for a full detailed service in my opinion. There were times I was even ashamed to open the door for them to clean my car! Lol. But, in all, you definitely get what you pay for here and that i is a quality wash that meets all expectations for the price. Besides the machine wash service, they do offer a hand wash service and full detail service that can be scheduled. The price varies based on the car type and size. I've never used the extended services, but from what I can see, they perform a great job, especially with detailing your car. My go to is the standard ultimate Wash. This service is a full complete inside and outside cleaning job for your car as well as inside mats and tire/wheel cleaning. One day I will try the hand wash and detail service, but for now I'm completely satisfied every time I stop by here. I highly recommend you give these folks to visit. You will not be disappointed..... at least I haven't and it has been over 20+ years!

Unfortunately, what should have been a routine $42 car wash turned into a very disappointing and costly experience. After the wash was completed, a supervisor, Marvin Cornejo, brought me over to my vehicle and informed me that they could not get the driver-side window to roll back up. There were also clear signs that the driver-side power window switch had been pried on in an apparent attempt to get the window working again. Prior to bringing my vehicle to Yates, I had never experienced any issues with the windows or electrical system. To their credit, the staff apologized at the time, took photographs of the damage, and completed an incident report. I was told that the owner would be contacting me to discuss the damage and how the situation would be handled. It has now been a week, and I have received no follow-up whatsoever. Because I was trading the Durango in that same day, the damage directly affected the condition of the vehicle and resulted in a $500 reduction in my trade-in value. So, in the end, a $42 wash plus the $5 tip I gave the staff cost me an additional $500. The wash itself was fine, and I understand that accidents can happen. What I find unacceptable is the lack of accountability and follow-through afterward. If your business damages a customer's vehicle, documents the incident, and tells the customer that the owner will contact them, following through should be the bare minimum. Receiving no communication at all only adds insult to injury. I purchased my new vehicle later that same day, and based on this experience, I will not be bringing it to Yates Car Wash Detail Center. Unfortunately, I also cannot recommend Yates to others. Accidents happen. How a business responds when they happen says far more about the business than the accident itself. They didn't even charge me for the service. The front desk manager was super nice as well. If I ever have any car issues, I will definitely come back here! The price for the service was $175 and they were finsihed within about 3 hours. They even checked the service bulletin for Audi to see if my vehicle had any recalls or warranties that would cover the battery issue!

This was one of the most incompetent and frustrating service experiences I've ever had, and it…read morehappened before any work was even started. I attempted to book an appointment online, but Caliber's website repeatedly showed no availability, with no alternative guidance. Since this location is directly across the street from Genesis of Alexandria, I physically drove my vehicle over to speak with them in person. At the front desk, I was met by Lidia, who was immediately unhelpful and dismissive. She asked for my appointment time, and when I explained that their own website would not allow me to book one, she simply said I must have an appointment before dropping off a vehicle. When I said I was trying to make one, she then asked whether the repair was through insurance and which insurer. I told her State Farm. She checked her computer and said there was no "assignment," and that State Farm had to assign the claim to Caliber before I could even make an appointment. Standing in Caliber's parking lot, I called State Farm and had them assign the claim in real time, which they confirmed was completed. I went back inside. Lidia still claimed there was no assignment. I called State Farm again, and they confirmed--again--that the assignment was active. At that point, I had the State Farm agent call Lidia directly while I stood in the lobby, still on hold. Only then did Lidia say she would have to "manually pull" the claim from State Farm, that she didn't know when she would get to it, and that in the meantime I was not allowed to leave my car on their lot. This left me in an impossible position: State Farm would not cover my rental unless the body shop process had started. Caliber would not allow me to leave my vehicle. I already had a rental car parked down the street. I was told to remove my car from Caliber's property while they "figured it out." The result: I had to remove my car, return my rental to Enterprise, was denied a ride back, and had to pay for an Uber just to get back to my own vehicle. At that point, I walked away from Caliber entirely. This entire ordeal demonstrates gross process incompetence, lack of customer advocacy, and zero ownership. If a shop cannot handle intake, coordination, or basic insurer communication, there is no reason to trust them with a complex repair--especially on a modern, technology-heavy vehicle. Caliber works closely with insurance companies, and it shows. Based on this experience, they are firmly within the insurer's sphere of influence, not the customer's. I would not trust this location--or any Caliber shop--to prioritize quality, thoroughness, or the vehicle owner's interests. I contacted another body shop immediately afterward. They were accommodating, clear, and professional within minutes. I'll be taking my vehicle there instead. I strongly recommend avoiding this Caliber location.

She was so friendly! After my car was assessed, the staff worked incredibly quickly to get the repairs done right away! I asked for a basic paint just to cover the damage. Damian went above and beyond- the car looks amazing, far exceeding my expectations! I cannot thank Damian and the staff enough for their kindness, professionalism, and their great work on the car. Hopefully I will not need another collision repair anytime soon, but if I do I will absolutely be going back to Caliber Collision Del Ray!

This is the best Hyundai location to get your car serviced!…read more I just happened to have car trouble and my car was towed here. Even before my car got there, they checked in with me, assured me they'd take good care of my car, and they'd call to let me know what needed to be fixed. They called me a couple hours later just to give an update that they were booked but would get to my car as soon as possible. They were completely honest from the beginning that it might be a couple of days. The very next day they called to tell me they'd figured out what was wrong, let me know it was covered, and they offered me a loaner since they'd need to order a part and it would be a few days before my car was fixed. Getting the loaner was a very easy process too. Just a couple of days later they called to give another update- it wasn't fixed but they just wanted to check in. They didn't need to do that but they did and I thought it was extremely thoughtful. I actually added my regular service since they had my car and they were very upfront about what was included and how much it would cost. When my car was ready, they called again, explained everything they did, and let me know when to pick it up. When I went to pick it up and drop off the loaner it took just a matter of minutes. Everything was the price they promised and my car was ready to go. I found it nice that they even washed it very well and cleaned it. I think the car was even more clean than when they got it! I had a very bad experience at another Hyundai service location so I really wasn't sure what to expect at this location. I was pleasantly surprised from start to finish and now I won't go anywhere else!

Their service was less than stellar while they kept my car for 3 days with no updates unless I initiated it. Now the work they provided is under warranty that I can't get anyone to discuss with me. I could have been a total b**ch throughout but I stayed respectful and patient. Their repair lasted exactly 7 days. Pretty damn frustrated at this point.
