Dear Key Food, I cannot lie, I'm no chef. But I'm 98% sure this isn't boneless chicken breast.

How can I in good conscience during a global pandemic give these wonderful Essential Workers anything less than the highest rating!?! Why would I? Thanks so much staff at Key Foods. Other than being well stocked your staff has always been wonderful and kind. They've even gone out of their way several times for items at the back that I requested. ALL have been wonderful but Charmaine comes to mind. (Well hers is the only name I remember). I must admit that at the start of lockdown there was unfortunately a bit of price gouging. Yikes! So many businesses succumbed to this sad practice that it almost (ALMOST) felt like the norm. I've also noticed meat labelled incorrectly BUT, this was in the middle of the world going crazy so mistakes at the time was understood and excused by me. (Though I did tease them via pic haha). For all that you do, Key Foods I heart you. The End.

This supermarket does not honor their own sale tag. The tag is clearly visible in front of the Halo fruit but the manager wanted me to buy the off brand for $3.99 or $8 for the Halo. What happened to the customer always right? I have shopped at this supermarket for over forty years.

2 for $5 should mean $2.50, not $2.99. The other was no discount at all.

Check your receipts before leaving this store. Pricing is misleading on some products, especially items on sale. Some sale notes are not under the products on sale. The notes under the products that say "2 for $5.00" are only if you buy 2. Even if it doesn't specifically that. Buyer beware.

This grocery store should really get more street cred if not by it's obvious hip hop history and Fulton street location then by it s expansive selection of grocery items. Also to add into the mix a very attentive, welcoming, and efficient staff. At all point of contact, everyone was personable & helpful. I found this to be one of the more cleaner supermarkets & definitely well stocked. I was surprised to find they even had a cbd infused seltzer, which I didnt know until after I drank it. Nevertheless, it was good & I'll def make a point to pick one up next time. The owners also still pay reverence to it's most famous employee, Biggie Smalls & as a fan, I must say it was pretty darn neat to pay a visit here. Come here for the groceries or the history, you wont regret it.

Friendly helpful staff, newly renovated, advanced selection of organic food. Reasonable prices, great deli & sandwiches. They will deliver your oh Shree's if you over shop up to six blocks. Large variety of dairy products. I have no complaints.

Park Natural is an all around health store most likely similar to same establishments in other neighborhoods. It's much appreciated to have in the ' hood even though it's been around for years. Let me be candid for a sec. I don't represent myself as a person who subscribes entirely to eating only health, organic, raw or plant foods. However; I do make a concerted effort to maintain a healthy lifestyle which is where the difference lies. Everything or most things in moderation! But back to Park Natural. I love this store simply because they have just about everything from organic veggies/fruits, vitamins, and bottled beverages to skin care items, refrigerated goods and cooked foods. Keep in mind, you'll dig a bit deeply into your pocket to pay for them. Most health food stores are on the expensive end. In other words, to eat well and maintain a healthy lifestyle isn't cheap. It's why fast food joints are inexpensive. How ironic when we are encouraged to be healthy! Park Natural is the kind of store that appeals to everyone in addition to vegetarians which is great because they carry tempeh and seitan. I like those items myself. Situated near the corner of President and Court Streets, the store is spacious and immaculate. I buy all my vitamins here. And it's comparable to a good friend--you may not always visit them, but you know they are there.

It only became worse the very next day when I had to toss 4 of the 5 for being moldy. The 5th one had to be tossed the next day. Contrast that with the 2 x 2lb bags of nectarines and peaches I purchased from Trader Joe's for $10 that were excellent and not moldy. I'll continue to use Park, but only in emergencies and probably not for fresh fruit.

The combination of the sweet pickles, white onions, and arugula is a match made in heaven for the turkey breast. I usually am not a fan of arugula bc i find the taste to be too much but the flavor is very subtle in the sandwich. The red wine vinegar isn't overpowering if you thought that was off putting and they put the perfect amount of mayo. I had this sandwich 4 days ago... and I am still thinking about it :( The ultimate warrior on the other hand, is complete opposite of the clean turkey. With the decadent pork shoulder and cheese, it's a warm and toasty and melty sandwich. Really love the addition of mama's lil's peppers I really like the sesame bread. I purchased a whole chicken from this store then walked home. At dinner time, I discovered that the sell by date on the whole chicken was Aug. 4 (it is Aug. 8). I had to stop everything and walk all the way back to the store. I was told by a nice and apologetic crew member that I can pick a different whole chicken or get a refund. I was already very late making dinner, so I went to find a different chicken. After picking through more whole chickens that were also past their sell by date, I eventually found one that A) was not expired and B) was as close as I could find to the price by weight of the one I purchased. Note, it was less than $1 more than the expired one I was sold and had to return. In spite of having to walk all the way back to the store for a return/error that was not mine, I was told by a manager that I still had to be charged for the $1 difference in cost. It's not about the $1 itself. It's about a customer service choice that requires that of a customer who has been put in that position. I understand there is a "system" that has to "balance," but someone created that system, and it should not lead to this outcome in this type of situation.
