Me and my father and mother went to this, and I have to say. I am amazed at how professional and comical the staff are! I was so stunned to see the beautiful water and turtles during my visit. Honestly a must try for people who are going to key largo to get away from the commotion. 10/10.

It was a beautiful day in Key Largo on March 28 so we decided to do a boat trip. Parking was easy, short walk to the Princess but I wouldn't recommend trying the walk in a wheelchair nor if you have bad knees or bad back. I am not a doctor but I suffer from pain in both areas and this trip was very rough on me. The stairs to the top deck were awful for me to get up to; same with coming back down the stairs. One of the crew members was very kind to help me down. Other than that, I loved it. I was fortunate to find a seat in the back. The ride out to the Reef was great! We passed the beautiful waterfront homes with their boats on display, the canals, the Tiki huts, the birds flying over us and finally we reached the Reef. Please bring a hat and sunscreen as it gets very hot out on the ocean! You can get drinks on board. Passengers were doing that and milling about. Note: no one was wearing a mask nor was social distancing observed on the boat. We practiced our own safety rules as much as possible. We did not catch covid. We did not see any sea life but we saw the limestone reefs. It was so beautiful out there and we would do this trip again. The crew was great! Bringing a hat next time and checking Groupon.

Good experience. I agree with the other review that said there wasn't much in terms of ocean life. We saw SOME fish+turtles, but the 'star' is the corals, so if you're into that, then do this. They talk very educationally about the corals and the other animals that you may see. Actually, we did see a shark BEFORE even boarding. They require masks downstairs when everyone is looking through the glass, but when you're upstairs on the deck, NO ONE wore their mask. I'm not one of those extremists that's like "all anti-maskers should BURN" but seriously, not a single person was wearing their mask upstairs, very crowded, and even downstairs some jokers were running around maskless. The workers weren't necessarily rude to me, but I got the feeling they were annoyed sorta people. This wasn't a big deal; I'm just pointing it out. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience. We went in the late afternoon & got a beautiful view of the sunset otw back. Also, it's freezing downstairs. Bring a jacket. They also offer medicine if you get motion-sick. Yelp doesn't let me give 3.5 stars, but 3.5 stars. PSA, keep your kids in check. Please.

What a great trip out to the reef on the glass bottom boat! The drinks were delicious, the speakers were clear so we could actually hear what they were saying from anywhere on the boat. The water was the most beautiful shade of turquoise I've ever seen. We saw lots of coral, fish and even a turtle! It was the perfect weather and made for a super relaxing day! I would highly recommend them!

Crew is outstanding. Concern about everyone's safety and knowledgeable. Boat has no drinks or food and unfortunately, there wasn't any much sea creatures activity to see. Very little fish.

We had such a beautiful experience on the Princess Glass Bottom Cruise on a gorgeous day. I went with my husband and my toddler. I bought our two adult tickets on Groupon and paid almost half the price and bought my toddler ticket on their website - note that all kids need a ticket ($25 plus tax). The whole check-in process was easy. The cruise boards next to the Holiday Inn. Normally, you have to pick up a printed ticket at the hotel but currently they do it paperless. I read up beforehand that there is not a lot of seating so I looked out for that first thing and snagged seats for us. I was so worried as I tend to get motionsick but felt great throughout the ride. The ride was 2 hours in total. Once the boat stops at the Coral Reef, you get to go downstairs and look through the glass-bottom. I stayed upstairs because I didn't want to get seasick but my husband says they saw a turtle, barracudas and reef. Some tips for your ride: - take hats and apply sunscreen because there is not a lot of shade - check the weather before booking as the boat can get rocky due to wind - if you tend to get seasick, wear sea bands, and take Dramamine. Also, go back upstairs if you get sick from the glass bottom I'm not deducting any stars because we had a beautiful one-of-a-kind experience but some remarks to be considered: - I thought there were too many people for the fact that we are still in a global pandemic. I heard them count 58 guests plus 3 crew members and the boat is not that big - I didn't like that people were allowed to smoke on the boat. Should someone actually get nauseous, it definitely won't help them get better to inhale cigarette smoke

My friends and I came on the glass bottom tour on Sunday 10/29/18 for a little getaway The crew members: Michael and Ivy were great and welcome us on board. The boat wasn't too packed , which was a plus for us to move easily. On the top of deck , there's a full bar with many drinks special. In case you're hungry, they all sell snacks. We didn't see many fishes but the reef was beautiful. We also saw a sea turtle. Michael was our tour guide and explained how the reef is home to many different types of fishes and the role it plays in our oceans. We can't wait to go back again

My husband and I went out with Mike twice last week…read more I REALLY love snorkeling but hate those crowded party boats, so I was looking for a more personalized way to go. Most charter boats seem to be in the $500+ range for a half day. Mike charges not by the hours but by the number of people, taking 2-6 per trip. So, just two of us for a snorkeling trip was just $160. I consider that a real bargain for having a boat all to ourselves! The first day we were to go snorkeling the conditions were not good for it. The water was too choppy and cloudy. Mike suggested a sunset cruise. We accepted. He will let you take whatever food or drink aboard that you want. We didn't have anything but sure wished we had some wine and cheese for the beautiful evening. The horizon was cloudy and we didn't expect much of a sunset, but Mike kept saying "wait and see". Sure enough, there was one opening in the clouds exactly where the sun was setting. It was gorgeous. We even saw the rare and infamous Green Flash! The two hour trip was $110. We were to try a snorkeling trip again two days later, but weather still was not good. But Mike kept in touch with us and as things improved he let us know when it would be good to go. He easily could have taken us to the site at our first scheduled time and said "oh well, not my fault the water is cloudy and choppy for snorkeling," but he wanted us to have a great experience so waited until the time was right. He is not out to steal your money, he honestly wants you to have the best time possible! Again, sure enough, Mike took us to the reef at exactly the right time! The water was calm and clear and we had one of our best snorkeling experiences ever anywhere in the world. When we got out of the water some squalls were appearing. Mike threaded us through them expertly on our way back in. Mike is extremely in tune with the tides, the weather, the moon. He has sailed all over the world for all his life. He will take you out when YOU want to go. No set schedules. We hope to sail with Mike again someday!

My friends and I rented a pontoon boat back in August, and I'll definitely be going back to them whenever I'm in the area. Booking online was super easy, and even though they were crazy busy when we arrived (we're talking full-on running around getting everyone set up!), they were still friendly, helpful, and apologetic about the short wait -- which was only about 15 minutes. They took the time to go over everything with us and gave great directions for getting to Disappearing Island, even providing a map. The boat itself was spacious, clean, and easy to handle. The docks were wide and simple to pull in and out of, and the location was perfect -- right in the middle of the Intracoastal, making it easy to head either north or south to explore, find islands, or stop at nearby bars and restaurants. The only small downside was parking -- it's a bit limited, and you have to park a few blocks away. But we just unloaded at the dock first, then parked the car, no big deal. A slightly better sign would help folks like me (the "bubble heads" ) find the place faster, but once you're there, it's smooth sailing! Highly recommend Sand Dollar Charters in New Smyrna Beach -- friendly people, clean boats, and a great experience all around!
