I drove by this place and had to do a U-turn because in the name it says Key West fine wines. You can't find good wine in Key West everything is turning corporate and they have to adhere to some stupid list. I came in and met Kat I told her exactly what my palate was yearning for and she pointed me to exactly what I'd like and even explained why. She even took me on a journey about France's Chardonnays versus California's and oak barrels. I wish I had more time I would've bought four cases if I lived here and been a regular but I'm just passing through. If you're in Key West and a wine snob this is your place. read more

This is a GREAT wine shop. Owner Mike is a very personable and knowledgeable gentleman with zero pretension. He offers wines for $15 up to $2000 and not once in our 3 visits did he try to up-sell us. In fact, a couple times he reminded us that some bottles we grabbed were BOGO in same or similar priced bottle. I can admit I am a wine snob and had a fantastic time discussing his recommendations and my wine tastes. He turned us on to many unfamiliar wines (his shop has offerings from almost every wine area in the world) and his explanations of the taste profiles were spot-on. I couldn't have found a better place to deliver a fine bottle of wine to the hotel where my brother and his wife were staying! Here are the details: I sent an email after hours requesting a nice bottle of red wine, perhaps a Malbec. Mike responded, after hours, with an informative email of various red wines and ideas, along with prices. Phenomenal! I called later in the month to place my order; and he was so helpful in identifying the wine I was seeking, helped with suggesting a gift bag and a message! What a great business and place-- especially during these crazy COVID times, it's nice to see individuals and businesses who really are doing their best and continuing to provide an amazing service.
