I have been here A LOT. Bagatelle never disappoints. The historic house with old Florida charm, the great staff and amazing food really elevate your Key West experience. I recently tried their brunch happy hour and now I will make it a point to do it every time I am in Key West. the lobster mac and cheese was the perfect portion and the cocktails are totally worth it! Do the brunch happy hour, sit at the bar. You'll love it

After scouring Duval Street for something different we stumbled upon this wrap around balcony seating restaurant that was originally a 200 year old bahamian style house. The burrata salad, the breakfast tacos and warm brie were splendid. The food and location were great but the service from the waiter was lousy and took away from the entire visit and not what we expected at a nice place.

This is a more upscale restaurant in the Keys. The food is superior and never disappoints. They accommodated a late night drop-in and made us feel welcome. The food is excellent. We started with a shared salad and we shared one of the specials as well. They split both servings and made me one of the best rum Old fashioned drinks I have ever had. The fish special was excellent. (See pictures) Also a very good Key Lime Pie. (Thanks for the anniversary dessert)

This was such a lovely dinner spot in Key West. They have a beautiful outdoor balcony with ample seating. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. We opted for the famous swordfish which came on top a delicious risotto. The burrata also had fun flavors accompanying it with the green dressing and mandarins and prosciutto. Definitely recommend!

After stopping in here last year on a Food & Walking tour, I was excited to come back for a dinner reservation this year. I made a reservation on Open Table and requested balcony seating which we were given. I also noted that it was a birthday dinner which the server also recognized by bringing out dessert at the end of the meal. We all absolutely loved our food and the service was top notch. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, and never kept us waiting or wanting for anything. He brought clean flatware between courses and kept our beverages full. I enjoyed the Heart of Palm salad with added grilled shrimp which was plentiful. Others at the table had the snapper (whole fish!), lobster fettuccine, and roasted chicken. We also devoured the lobster Mac and Cheese as a starter. I would definitely recommend dining her if you want higher end service and food right on Duval Street.

We had made reservations in advance so we were able to be seated right away. We had brunch and was seated upstairs inside. It was bright and sunny outside, so glad we were indoors. Had the fish tacos with black beans and rice. The fish tacos were not heavy and was very light. The cilantro cream sauce was really good. The pico de gallo was very refreshing to have. Our waitress was very nice and had the prettiest name. She made sure to keep filling up our waters on that hot day. There can be a wait for the bathrooms, but there is bathrooms upstairs and one bathroom downstairs.

This review is for the daily HH 4-6pm. While waiting for sunset celebration at Mallory Square, we decided to stop and have early dinner here. we ordered their specialty cocktail : cucumber cooler and the mule. The mule was our favorite, like the ginger beer, it match well with vodka. The cucumber cooler has a bit of bitter after taste, it's quite refreshing. The happy hour food portions are small, which is good for us, as we are not that hungry. The lobster Mac and cheese was really flavorful, love the mac and the crispy topping. Pork tostoda was okay, the pulled pork was great. overall, this was a great HH experience.

We were looking for an outdoor place to sit and grab a bite. We were seated right away and enjoyed our brunch. Service was good and my avocado toast was delicious.

Bagatelle is a standout spot in Key West with a fun, lively atmosphere and consistently good food. The setting feels classic and energetic, whether you're dining upstairs or enjoying the balcony overlooking Duval Street. The menu offers a nice mix of seafood, comfort dishes, and well-executed classics. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared, and the cocktails paired perfectly with the setting. Service was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving without feeling rushed. Great food, great location, and a true Key West vibe -- Bagatelle is an easy choice for the better places to eat in Key West.

Enjoyed a lovely date night at Bagatelle. Love when homes are converted into restaurants- makes for such pretty decor. Everything we ordered was plated beautifully. Staff was very professional & polished. It was a nice change of pace in key west to dine somewhere upscale, and I felt the food and service was well worth the price. I did choose this restaurant specifically because of all the rave reviews about the swordfish- unfortunately to me the seasoning was way too salty and I've had better swordfish if I'm being honest. However everything else we ate and drank was simply delicious- highly recommend sharing the lobster mac & cheese, and my husband and I both loved the grouper entree.

So glad to have finally tried Bagatelle. We were a large group and seated quickly, though I'm almost certain someone in our group had a reservation. The service was excellent! I started with the cucumber basil martini and it was stand out delicious. For dinner I got the blackened swordfish and was really impressed by it! The serving size was way more than enough for me. We did get a couple orders of mussels for the table and as someone who only eats mussels occasionally, if not rarely, I found theirs phenomenal... I really liked the cognac peppercorn cream sauce. I was able to try some of the Key Lime Pie and found it good but thought was maybe too much meringue for me, though I recognize that's kind of a key west staple.

Tasty blackened hogfish blt. Crispy chicken sandwich was tasty too. Nice porch to people watch and chicken watch.

We started with happy hour at a high top downstairs for a cocktail then moved to the outside balcony on the upper level. Ambiance was excellent for both styles of our visit. They had a great wine selection and we enjoyed a bottle of Cab with our dinner. We started with a Caesar which had nice pieces of white anchovies (mine only) and then we both had blackened swordfish which was cooked and seasoned to perfection over risotto. We finished off with a glass of baileys on the rocks. Dinner was 2.5 hours of overlooking Duval ave in KeyWest. An incredible evening with service that wasn't pushy but there when we needed something.

And it's not only the drink menu with its custom crafted cocktails, wines, beers & ciders that will wow you but the accompanying snacks and bites are just as divine. And bonus, it's not only a bar, but also a liquor store with an awesome selection of wines and spirits. This bar definitely has a locals vibe. It's small , dark and cozy and the small tables with velvet chairs are very welcoming. We loved it so much. We came back for a second night. We tried the Maria Rita, which was a reposado tequila with fresh lemon, lime, hibiscus, and habanero, perfect version of a margarita. We also tried blowing smoke up your glass, this was made with Papa Pilar, dark rum, pineapple, fresh lime, house made basil syrup & tiki bitters. Absolutely fabulous. We also tried their deviled eggs each topped with unique toppings like trout row, bacon, and scallions. They were absolutely fabulous. They also have a great selection of charcuterie, Key nuts which you can order with different flavor, profiles, caviar, olives & peppers. Also, the most generous happy hour I've ever heard of from 12 to 6 PM every day. Don't miss out on this little jewel when in Key West.
