Biscuits & Gravy with a side of over medium eggs and a cup of Keys Cafe Freshly-Ground "Breakfast Blend" Coffee
    Olivia M.

Let me just start by saying: Keys Cafe has ruined biscuits & gravy for me -- in the best possible way. Because now nothing else compares. Nothing. I've peaked. The biscuits? Fluffy, warm, and so fresh you'd think someone's grandma is in the back whispering prayers over the dough. They come out steaming, soft in the center, with that perfect golden exterior that holds up to gravy like a damn champion. And the gravy... listen. I don't know who's in charge back there, but this was buttery, perfectly seasoned, full of actual sausage, and the ideal thickness -- not that heavy, gluey kind that makes you rethink your order, and not watery either. Just... right. Goldilocks would weep. The hash browns? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and somehow not greasy at all. I don't know how they pulled that off. Witchcraft? Voodoo? A deal with the breakfast gods? Don't care. I respect it. Overall, it was the kind of breakfast that makes you stop mid-bite just to nod at your plate.

This is probably my favorite keys location. Friendliest staff and good food with amazing portions. I got the corned beef hash here and it was SO good. I loved the giant chunks of corned beef in it. I also tried the banana bread French toast and I loved it!! Also had to get and orange juice. I ended up paying over $30 but I had left overs so I guess the price was pretty reasonable. Also there is a 50 cent up charge per egg at the moment. Love this place so much!!

First time in this location (4/8/25) I've been to the other keys in Roseville, Minneapolis and Hudson Wisconsin! Love the white bear location! Great ambiance and awesome customer service! We enjoyed our food here! My friend had a Philly cheese steak and I had a patty melt for lunch! We would come here again in the future!

Delish! You can never go wrong going to Keys Cafe for breakfast and/or lunch. They have several different locations across the metro and this was our first time checking out the one in WBL. We had to wait roughly 20-25 minutes but were able to roam around to other shops in WBL while we waited. The server we had was great and very efficient checking up on us frequently. The place isn't huge inside so keep that in mind when heading over here. The menu is fabulous especially for this gluten free girl. I went with the BLT + Avocado sandwich (gfree bread) and upgraded to a side salad with French which was incredible fresh and delish. Hubby got the combo and he is obsessed with their wild rice soup. Look forward to returning to Keys again!

I attended a baby shower here in the party room upstairs. We were able to order lunch during the shower. The service was good and the food was hot. It was a nice location to hold a small party.

Not sure what to think here. I've always LOVED Keys as they have great service and large breakfast that you could easily share. However, my son and his girlfriend went on July, 24, 2024 and were charged a $1.98 menu card price? I am NOT sure what that means exactly, but it's bad enough that prices are as HIGH as they are, to tack on some nonsense fees are getting ridiculous. Just up your prices, INSTEAD of ridiculous HIDDEN FEES until you get the bill

The best Keys Cafe location in all of the Twin Cities. Delicious food of all kinds and GREAT desserts that you're surrounded by as you leave the restaurant. The ambiance feels very homey, and the service is always so friendly and quick. Food portions are HUGE (especially for breakfast), so make sure you come here on an empty stomach. By the way, I highly recommend the Everything Omelet - it's the BEST. Their strawberry jam is amazing too. I'd like to think that this is probably one of the best breakfast places in the Twin Cities too. Be sure to check out the nearby White Bear Lake when in the area too - it's beautiful with a nice walking trail.

A coworker suggested breakfast at Keys and it was about a mile from our hotel so the location was super convenient. The White Bear location is on a Main Street with both street parking and a lot across the street. As you walk in, the pastry display gets your mouth watering. We had a group of 7 and were seated immediately. Coffee was made available immediately from a friendly server. The place was clean, a bit rustic and had a hometown feel. The menu had plenty of breakfast offerings to choose from and I opted for the Eggs Benedict. They were served with hash browns which were cooked perfectly, eggs had a runny yolk and the muffins were toasted just right. Hollandaise was decent but I've had better. Others In Our group had pancakes, omelettes with no complaints. Pricing was reasonable. If you are in the area, check this place out for diner fare with Minnesota hospitality.

The Wild Bean Coffee shop shares a storefront and bathroom with 350 Degrees Bakery so I'd recommend hitting both up if you are in the area as a 2-for-1 adventure. The Wild Bean serves a small variety of breakfast and lunch items along with standard espresso drinks. Similar to many coffee shops, there are rotating seasonal specials. For my breakfast, I opted for the egg sandwich and added cheese, salsa, avocado and sausage. I picked sourdough as the bread. It was the perfect size and came toasted. My sister ordered a turkey panini and it was bigger than the breakfast sandwich and served with potato chips. Our service was extremely kind and considerate which aided to the interior charm. I adored the decorating, small gift shop towards the back, plants and exterior patio seating for warmer weather. For my drink, I ordered a hot chai tea latte and it was perfect. The storefront offers board games and complimentary water. I look forward to returning! Thank you!

We arrived early at 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon so the place was not yet packed. By the time we left at 5:30 most of the tables indoors were full. You wait for the hostess to seat you. We took a hightop. They have a big outdoor patio area, but it was 90° that day so we opted to stay inside. Service was great and friendly and fast. Our Party ordered the following: Nashville fried chicken - chicken was crispy and just a little bit spicy. It was a bit greasy, but that is expected. The server said it was their best sandwich. That's my jam - this had cream cheese and habanero, bacon jam, but we couldn't really taste the habanero. But it was good nonetheless. Campfire burger - two of our Party ordered this and they thought the combination of the peanut butter with a spicy lingonberry jam was really good. The chips that come with the sandwiches are amazing. Don't even think of switching to something else. I also had the bloody Mary, which was a good mix, but not very spicy. I was wondering why they gave me Tabasco on the table. The burgers are huge, maybe a third or a half pound of beef and well worth the price. Overall, it is worth the 40 minute drive to White Bear Lake and won't mind stopping by if we were in the area again.
