Boy what a disappointment!! I ordered a Mario themed cake and got what looked like a cake taken off the shelf and a yellow box with a ? in it. No Mario, no other characters, no Mario colors. The icing of the yellow box was thick on one side and thin on the other. I really could've done it myself! They had the order Thursday for a Saturday pick up. read more

Keystone Bakery is a Mon Valley institution. Totally old school Bakery with yummy and homemade pastries from cookies to muffins, donuts, bread and so on. Homemade chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are the best I have ever had!! read more

Keystone Bakery is one of my favorite places to visit when I am back in the BVA. While the bakery changed hands a few years ago you really can't tell a difference, which is a good thing. Atmosphere - Sweet smells, busy, narrow room, with clean and basic decorating as to not detract from the large glass counter/ case of tasty pastries. Food - My favorites items here include the pecan rolls, Bunker hill rolls, Paska bread, dinner rolls, raisin bread, apricot Kolache, and walnut Kolache. Oh, and of course I like their cake. I like it in sheet form with the marble batter and white icing. The cake icing (Regular Butter Cream) here is a little dense than say Bethel Bakery, which uses a very light in texture French Buttercream. I can't say one is better than the other, as it just depends on my mood or the event. If it is a graduation, baptism, or confirmation...a Keystone sheet cake please! If I am picking up a small round cake, I may prefer the latter. Price - Reasonable! Appreciate what you have here BVA. In the South we only have fancy bakeries that think it's cool to charge you $5 for one stinking brownie...no wonder I never stop. Overall - If I still lived here I would be fat...but happy. Till then, I will continue to stop by when I am in the area. Keep up the good work Keystone! read more

I'd been on a job in Arnold City for 3 months and only found this place during the final week! So sad, but I tried to try as many items as possible! They have a great selection of pastries, breads, and desserts. I think my favorite of the things I tried were the apple donut (so fluffy and light and delicious!) and pineapple filled cookie. The goods all are very fresh and seem to be prepared by hand. For special occasions/groups, they also carry full cakes and pies. Plus, they offer coffee in the store as well! It's easy to miss tucked in a plaza, but worth a trip if you're in the area for sure. read more

Keystone has been a family favorite for years. Our b-day cakes always came from there and they were always so cool with everything from a Cabbage Patch Kid doll to The Hulk to The Smurfs (I was a child of the 80's you know:)!). They have added a location in Greensburg. Nice and a little bigger than the BV location but still the same awesome sweet treats. I love their icing however if you don't like sweet, stay away from the cake because their icing is sweet. It definitely suits me to a tee because I love sweet. Cookies are great too. Like the strawberry logs as well. Hubby likes the cinnamon rolls and the cream horns. And the bread is fresh and soft and terrific! I would advise everyone who is trying to be careful of their health avoid this bakery. I just drove three hours from Columbus to visit this place because I grew up eating bunker hills at my grandma's house from this place. But I went in, and was greeted pleasantly by the you lady at the front, but another elderly woman was walking around the place coughing all over everything with the worst cough I've ever had. She coughed on the pierogi, she coughed on the counters. It was awful to listen to and be near. If we hadn't driven so far I would have turned around and left. I left two stars because the baked goods are still amazing. I'm just hoping they don't come with a side of coronavirus. read more

This place brings me back to so many awesome childhood memories! Their thumb print cookies are super good, and their cake is to die for. I've never had better icing. They don't just do cakes either- go for donuts, bread, cookies, pastries... they also have a new little coffee shop in the bakery. read more

(3/26/2014) Got a batch of Potato Jalapeno Pierogis from a friend who lives in the Pittsburgh area. Pastry was very nice, smooth, even flaked a little after a boil/fry in butter. Filling was savory and had a surprising amount of heat. Would def love to get again and try other fillings. read more

Been a customer for 30 years! Keystone has great variety of baked goods, and there is almost nothing you will be unhappy eating! Bunker hill rolls, coconut cream pie, cream sticks and white cake are our favorites...also the fondant cookies. Great breads and pizza crust too! We love it! read more

Frosting is way too sweet for me. I do like the fresh bread & some of the cookies. They also have frozen homemade perogies.

They make the best breads and pastries. We've been shopping there for years. Their apricot coffee cake and apricot cookies are on the top of the best list. read more
