It was so ridiculously huge with two patties of burger stacked an inch plus thick that I took one burger off to eat later. The burger with pickles and sauce were just right and plenty of diced tomatoes and lettuce offered some respite from the meat extravaganza. It was a good burger for sure. The marinara on the spaghetti is a little watery but absolutely delicious. I really liked the flavors. This is a nice local place with tons of PA beers on tap. My favorite experience here has been for the murder mystery dinners. For $45, you get a buffet dinner (that comes with soft drinks, the meal and dessert) and a funny musical comedy show. You can't beat that deal! When you enter for these events, you go to your assigned table. The characters are mingling and you can get drinks. The one thing I'll say is they needed more bartenders or a more efficient way to handle the drinks because the line was consistently long. Maybe having one person for things like pop and one for bar items could be helpful. The buffet is different depending on the time of year (and potentially theme of the mystery). The menu is fairly limited and a bit old school "fancy" but if you know that going in you shouldn't be disappointed. We had the filet and the chicken marsala. Were the they best we've ever had taste or presentation wise? No, but they were enjoyable the the portions were good. As was the service. It wouldn't be a spot I'd come to regularly for dinner, but I'd definitely eat in the dinner area again. The diner/breakfast side was more fast paced and old school diner, almost cafeteria vibe. Food items are pretty cheap considering today's food prices, especially for breakfast items. I like that with all the traditional and old school options they also have avocado toast. I've had their pancakes (which were huge, but not all that thick) and their omelet. Pretty standard diner fare. Nothing was food I was eager to come back and have again, but it was all perfectly tasty. So, come with an open mind. And remember that this place is essentially three different experiences. The pancake was fluffy and topped with sweet icing, but I think that it could use more cinnamon. Bagel Breakfast Sandwich - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this sandwich. The bagel, cheese, crispy bacon, and eggs tasted very good. Assorted Cookies - 4.5 stars - These cookies came in several flavors, and I ordered one of each flavor. The waitress, however, told me that two of the flavors were out of stock, which was not true, because I literally took a photo of those cookies in the display case, and you can see that photo attached to this review. She brought out very cold cookies in flavors of triple chocolate chip (which my husband really liked), oatmeal raisin, Reese's (one of my favorites), chaos (several ingredients), and lemon blueberry (my other favorite). My husband said that the cookies were a large size and tasted good, and I agree. The total price for these three foods and one soda was $29 plus tax, a 3% credit-card processing fee, and a tip.
