I purchased a fried Turkey for Thanksgiving, picked it up and placed it in the refrigerator Wednesday afternoon. Thanksgiving day around noon, I took it out so that by dinner it would be room temperature. My guests arrived and we started dinner around 5 PM. In attempting to carve the Turkey, the breast was like sandpaper. It was so very dry. I have fried many turkeys so I know how they should be, and this was not it. It didn't appear to have been injected to moisturize the turkey. I called Saturday after Thanksgiving, because the store was closed Friday. The manager was very rude and tried to say it was too many days. I told her I picked up the Turkey when they told me to pick it up, and they were closed Friday. She then told me I had to call Monday. When I called Monday at opening to speak to another manager, he was even more rude than the lady. He was unwilling to even entertain the possibility that they overcooked the turkey. He offered no compromise nor compensation. I will never purchase there again. I normally get my turkey at Popeyes but tried KFC because they are closer to me. This restaurant is not customer friendly in my opinion. I paid $77+ for a dry turkey that ruined my dinner. I didn't even get an apology nor complimentary coupons to attempt to make the situation palatable. I do not recommend this restaurant, especially when purchasing for your special occasions. I saw online a $20 fill up meal with either 8 pcs of original or extra crispy chicken or 12 extra crispy tenders. I went to go in to order, locked up only drive thru. Have had issues with the drive thru before, well stupid me proceeded to drive thru. Placed my order, 12 pc chicken tender $20 fill up meal, "sorry we don't have the tenders on that meal", "but we have the 8 pcs $20 fill up". Okay I said. Clearly you can't expect much from them but it's so bad, the manager or the main guy always there is some Asian middle aged man and he is RUDE. He rushes you while you order and doesn't give sauce and has so much attitude. They always fuck up the orders like for example barely adding sauce to Nashville tenders and forgetting pickle. I'm not going to judge this place compared to a nicer sit down restaurant. For fast food, it's pretty good. Restaurant was clean, employees were not rude, food was made fast. I come to KFC these days exclusively for Georgia gold chicken strips with cole slaw, and that is delicious as always. Crunchy but covered in tangy salty oily sauce, and the chicken strips are always bigger than I expect - 3 strips is more than enough for me. Yum! My husband got a leg and thigh combo when we went and I can't honestly remember the last time I saw a chicken leg that small. We kept joking how it was some heirloom breed from the 1800s before they bred chickens to their modern size. It was seriously half the size of what I think of as a chicken leg. This isn't as much about the store is it is about their app. Several times the app has rejected my card payment. My card works fine in literally 10 other apps. According to the people in the store they are unable to help with app issues and they can not take payment either from app orders. They said that it must be done in the app. THREE separate times over the past year I've reached out to KFC corporate by phone and email to talk to someone about fixing their app. Besides a 1 form email, I haven't heard back from them and no one from KFC has tried to otherwise talk to me. There are literally hundred of complaints online regarding this same issue, yet nothing has been fixed. KFC must be losing tens of millions in annual sales worldwide because of this, but they aren't interested in fixing something so simple.
