Very disappointed! The guy at the drive-thru window is incredibly rude! I went to pick up my order today, and my car was the only vehicle at the drive-thru lane. The guy first told me that he saw my order but it needed three minutes to be ready, which I understand; and then he wanted me to back out of the drive thru lane. I wanted to, but then another vehicle came after me and blocked the out route. I had to drive to the window. There the kfc worker got so irritated and told me next time don't come right after placing an order, because that "gives him a lot of pressure". I admitted I didn't realize that I should've pick up the order inside the store, that part is on me, but that's not an excuse to be rude to your customers. Found a bug in my drink. From the start, staff were rude while I was ordering. I asked if I could change the size of the meal boxes and they responded with attitude like it was obvious. I went back right away to report it and ask for a refund. The business owner who was working accused me of putting a bug in my own drink, refused a refund, called me a dumb bitch, and shut the door in my face. This is by far the worst KFC I've ever been to in the entire United States. The people who work here must not be able to read or just don't care about customer service too much. I've ordered food from here 3 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME they have forgotten something in the order. Today I got 3 chicken tenders when there should've been 8, no sauces, AND the food was cold. They have lost my business forever. It might not be much, but maybe I will save someone the headache of having to experience this frustration. Lately it seems like every time I order something for delivery. It's either delivered the wrong order or the order is short of items or it's late it's just horrible horrible service! This is the closest one by our place and we buy 1-2x a month here. It's always terrible!!! The service! Which will force you to exit the plaza, hang a right, cruise down the street to make a u-turn, then cruise back up the street to make another u-turn before you can actually re-access their parking lot. Once again there was a limitation tonight. Coupon for 14 pc. drumstick bucket and the team member told me they were out of the 'special chicken' they use for this coupon. I don't know why this place always gets such a bad rep. They're honestly not that bad, but I feel like being a fast-food chain, people are far more quick to be critical of them. Whenever I'm in the area, this KFC location is my main go-to. I absolutely love KFC, and I'll admit, like with almost any fast-food chain, this location could be a hit or miss, but more often than not, this place gets the order right and cooks the chicken quite decently. Majority of the time, I do ask for large orders, which may differ from when people are solely ordering a small meal. Typically, I'm ordering for a family, so that may include a 12pc bucket, large order of 20pc hot wings, large potato wedges, etc. Being that it's a large order, most of the food might be more likely to be made-to-order. Especially with the hot wings, they 9/10 times tell me that I'll have to wait about 10 minutes for those to be cooked. Anyhow, while I typically order large orders here, I've also ordered for myself, which my experience wasn't as bad as most people claim to have had luckily. The workers are generally pretty friendly and usually give a ton of sauce packets, which is nice (extra ranch pls!). However, my friend went multiple times saying that the workers always seemed stressed out and annoyed with each other. Being in a fast-food setting though, I can only imagine that's probably typical, especially being around hot oil and serving people all day, right? Give this place a chance though. If only I had read these reviews before going here then I could've avoided the abuse I got on New Years Eve. Being lazy and not wanting to cook for one person, I decided to get some chicken and go home to prepare the sides...easy! After leaving the drive through, I noticed one of the wings looked like a thigh. I thought, maybe this is just a huge wing so I tasted it and it was a thigh. I CALLED the KFC to tell them I was coming back to exchange this piece for a wing. The lady clerk stated "okay." When I got to the drive through window, it was pouring raining and getting into my vehicle. This time an Asian guy with a white hair cap was holding my box of one chicken wing. I reached my hand out of my car window in the pouring rain to show him the thighs that I picked up with a white towel. He stated, "So why did you eat the chicken?" I stated that I tasted it since I thought it was a wing from a deformed or just huge chicken. Well, he would not hand me the box and started playing window drive through games and I was getting soaking wet. Plus the rain was going in my vehicle. As I reached and grabbed my chicken off the metal drive through counter, the white towel dropped on the driveway with the chicken. To my horror, the disgruntled employee COPIED my phone number from the phone at KFC and sent me this hateful text. I'll never go back here and the rest of the reviews on this location speaks to the caliber of abuse that customers endured at this KFC. So... 2020 has been a tough year for many - a worldwide pandemic prevented us from enjoying food from thousands of businesses. Luckily, fast food restaurants were open and we could delve into something that wasn't home-cooked or microwaveable! KFC has been a staple for my family because we like to order a bucket, mixed with both original recipe and extra crispy chicken (legs and thighs - YUM), 2 large potato wedges and coleslaw for the sides, and the 20 piece hot wings. More often than not, the hot wings take the longest to make so I'll likely have to pull over to the CVS lot next door and wait about 10-15 minutes for them to bring it out to my car. The hot wings seem to be a popular menu item so I'm not sure why there aren't a lot of these being mass produced to minimize the delay time for orders. Once the chicken is cooked they usually sit under a heat lamp anyway. *shrug* The service has been pleasant when I've walked-in and when ordering at the drive-thru. Sometimes you're overwhelmed by the menu or you have to make a modification to your selection; the workers maintain a positive attitude when taking your order and are patient with you. Back to 2020 being a hard year - KFC removed their delicious potato wedges off of their menu! U_U WHYYYYYY!? I was sooo devastated; those were my favorite! You can't get those anywhere else at a fast food chain nearby. It made KFC stand out from the rest. While that was hard to swallow, KFC created their "Secret Recipe French Fries," which luckily tastes bomb! I guess this will do until the wedges make their return. The wedges will always have a special place in my heart. The French fries are similar to Vons Chicken in CV IMO. On another note, I've never had the chicken tenders, but on one occasion, we had a bucket deal that came with chicken tenders and they were actually pretty tender, depending on the strip you got. The honey mustard or ranch dipping sauce really did the trick! I wouldn't mind getting the tenders again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. So I saw a commercial at lunch today about a chicken and donut sandwich, and whatever marketing ploy they used, it worked. I have not been to a KFC in years! Let's start off, not sure why this KFC has such a low rating? What gives? I came here around 5 pm on my way home from work, dropped in ordered a bucket of chicken for the fam jam, and a chicken donut sandwich for my self. The place was clean and I only waited about 8 minutes for everything to be made. Was in and out in no time, I would of used the drive through, but I had to use the rest room after my long BART Commute. The rest rooms were even clean! As for the chicken donut sandwich, it was not as good as I was hopping. It was good, but not worth the calories. The donuts however are on point, there is a lot more donut than chicken. It would of been better with either two pieces or thicker chicken. But at 1100 calories, I guess it's enough. Now to have a nap after eating so many calories! read more

I was rather disappointed with my order from Door Dash from this establishment. Normally I get my orders delivered from the one near Tennyson. For some reason DD put my order in this queue for this particular store. Fast forward to my concern the order was not to my liking. The mash potatoes were real cold and so were the chicken that was ordered. One of the meals I ordered 2 breasts and one wing. And mysteriously I received an extra box of food I do not recall ordering that had chicken wings in it. I discarded it. I'm not sure why they did that but I have a rule not to eat food that I never ordered. Maybe they interpreted one wing as an order of chicken wings? Also the chicken tenders were super small in my opinion. Had to microwave everything except the Cole Slaw for 30 seconds to have an acceptable temperature to eat the food. It's probably my fault for not checking which store it came from. But for $38 worth of food I expect better quality food. I think from now on I'm going to check to see what store it's coming from as the Tennyson KFC has much better quality control on their order.
