UNDERNEATH THE SAUCE Rarely do I shop at Southland Mall however I was there two Wednesdays ago when I shopped at Champs Sports and Foot Locker. After shopping, for lunch I decided to eat at Adrienne's Wild Wings. I'm a sucker for wings, but I've never been to Adrienne's Wild Wings before. I asked the cashier what sauce she would recommend. She stated one of the sauces she liked was honey garlic. I ordered 10-piece combo that included ten wings, side order, and dessert. For the side order I choose tater tats while for the dessert I selected cheesecake. The 10-piece combo comes with two sauces. I choose honey butter, which is the dry rub, and honey garlic. I believe sauces should be used for flavoring not hiding. What do I mean by that? I've noticed sometimes sauces mask how dry the meat is. I decided to taste the honey butter first to see how moist the meat is inside. After taking a bite two things came to mind. First I couldn't taste the honey butter. Second the meat was moist. I tried the honey garlic. The cashier said the honey garlic was spicy. However I felt the honey garlic was spicy at all. Yet the honey garlic sauce was very flavorful. What did I like more the honey butter or honey garlic? I say this was toss up as I can taste more of the meat from the honey butter, yet I can enjoy the sauce of the honey garlic. The tater tots were disappointing as they were bland. The cheesecake was light. I don't shop at Southland Mall often. If I go back Southland Mall and become hungry for lunch I can see myself going back to Adrienne's Wild Wings. read more

*UPDATED REVIEW* Came back here about a week later and wanted to give it another try. I saw they had a special on their menu for the boneless buffalo chicken ranch fries and went for it. It did not disappoint. It completely hit the spot and I would order it again. Now that I've tried the wings, popcorn chicken, and the chicken fries, I probably only have the chicken tenders left to try. This spot is definitely good enough to add to the rotation of spots when deciding to eat out. Also helps with having neighboring food spots in the food court to mix and match. read more

Southland Mall is really kicking it's game up with a great addition to the food court downstairs. It is still very lively with plenty of seating in the food court. These wings are soooooo plump and criiiiispy! The best thing is that they have some unique twists to the classic flavors, I liked the honey lemon pepper, it had a nice balance of sweetness to the lemony pepperyness. I also tried the cajun garlic parmesan, which was good but had more garlic than parmesan-I usually prefer more parmesan to garlic. If you are a garlic lover, this will be your jam-definitely enough garlic to keep vampires miiles away! I do recommend ordering ahead or planning on shopping while waiting for your order though since it took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready. (But they do have a sign that they do notary services ahah so I guess you can get your forms notarized while waiting for food?) read more

Saw matcha tea on menu later.. -chose grilled corn cobblets, not fries nor tots Amazing slightly juicy, fresh tasting morsels, way better than the probably previously frozen potato. -brownie- my choice of dessert from a long list on counter. Very sweet chocolate layer atop moist subtly cake. Tasted fresh/ok. Either made fresh or outsourced. Chicken tender irregularly sized, varied from dry to slightly moist. Heavily crispy thick crust. Plump, juicy, perfectly fried (and drained, so they weren't greasy) with a delicious honey lemon pepper dry rub. Best wings I've had in a while. My other favorite lemon pepper wings are at Halal Wings Plus in Fremont (which while delicious, happen to be to be way smaller in size and oilier). read more

Adrienne's Wild Wings has a great location inside the Southland mall food court. The gentleman that took my order was very kind and caring. The food is Halal and the chicken was cooked just right as the chicken was juicy, not dry. I tried the chicken tenders and spicy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was some tenders on a bun with a few pickles, nothing crazy, but it was decent. It was nice to have some food before heading into the theater. I wanted to like this place. I really did but it was very mediocre. The best part about this place is the wings are fairly meaty and they come out piping hot. After that it's all downhill. The shoestring fries came out soggy and bland. I ordered six wings and asked for the "crispy spicy" flavor. I don't know what "crispy spicy" even means. I was confused when I received plain wings with two tiny sauce containers on the side. I assumed the sauce would be on the wings not on the side. The tiny containers were so small I couldn't even dip my wings into them. To make things worse, the two tiny containers had two different sauces and neither of them were spicy. It was confusing and you should never be confused while eating buffalo wings. I was also disappointed that they served the soda in a can as opposed to a fountain drink. AMAZZZZZING!! We ordered to take to me dad so he could try it. And like they told me in my last review I was able to order mild lemon pepper and I LOVEEED it. My husband and I agreed we liked it more than when it's spicy. We drove almost 30 min to my dad and it was still hot crunchy delicious goodness. My dad who is his own kind of picky about wings, was super impressed. He really liked the honey garlic. He also reallllllly loves the side sauce that was given (idk the name but it's a spicy one) and he plans on using the left over for other food lol. I ain't gonna lie other wing places ain't got nothing on AWW! These wings are meaty and crispy. I did not know what to pick for flavor so I ask the guy up front and he said garlic lemon pepper was the best seller. If you love garlic it's a must! Don't plan to kiss anyone after eating these lol. Fresh garlic all over and you can taste the lemon pepper also. Fries are average but you come for the wings! I would say the meal deal is worth it for 6 wings, side of fries, drink, and a dessert! I had to go back. Those buffalo chicken sandwhich are my favorite.. the fries are soooooooo good. The buffalo sauce gets on all my food and I want to take some home and put it on everything. The staff is nice and the line is getting bigger which is nice to see. It's a family run business and I support locally. It's by jc Lanny on the lower level. Adrienne's wild wings is a newer spot and interesting menu for a traditional wing spot. Awesome friendly service when ordering in person and easy to ask them questions on flavors,etc. I'd say this place is more like fire wings than Wingstop but even closer to Korean fried chicken spots. The honey lemon pepper was AMAZING the wife and I don't really like lemon pepper compared to wet flavors like mango hab and buffalo but these were a good fusion of a dry rub and wet. The sweet potato fries and regular fries weren't that good lacked seasoning and were just basic. Also wish I was told it was gonna be a 30minute wait which doesn't fit the mall scene when it comes to food you expect it to be quick TLDR: cheaper than most wing spots. Amazing flavors and options. How is this place not franchised with multiple locations?! First time trying out Adrienne's wings, and WOW, surely did not disappoint. First off, look at the size of these wings! The flats and drums are huge, you're definitely getting your moneys worth here. I selected three flavors, honey butter, classic buffalo, and garlic honey. All three flavors are unique and are extremely delicious. Buffalo and garlic honey are spicy, there's a nice kick to the flavor. The wings are fried to perfection, crispy and crunchy with each bite. I've had wings at Wing Stop where they came out warm, but Adrienne's wings were steaming hot, perfect! If you're feeling dessert, give the cheesecake a try, smooth and delicate. Please be mindful that my taste and likings may not be the same as yours, but the following are my ratings: Garlic Lemon Pepper: 3/5 I ordered this because the first review on Yelp! gave it high praise but to me, it tasted a bit like the seasoning from a seafood boil. Absolutely not bad at all, but not my favorite Honey BBQ: 5/5 These wings were soooo freaking good! They had a hint of spice but the flavor profile went so well with some ranch. Absolutely enjoyed this flavor Buffalo: 4/5 Typical buffalo style hot wings. I'm a bit biased because I love love love buffalo wings! I enjoyed this place. I have not really been to southland mall in awhile. I was said to see the corn dog spot was gone because that is the place I always went if I ever went to the food court. I walked around for a minute trying to decide what I was gonna eat and I chose this place. The lady who took my order was such a delight!!! We laughed over many things while I ordered and she helped create my order since I was apprehensive of what to actually get lol. I will be coming back the chicken tastes amazing the house dipping sauce is amazing and the chicken is so juicy. I got the garlic Parmesan and Cajun corn. This place is amazing! A secret gem hiding in the foodcourt of southland mall. The wings are big and juicy. The workers fried it fresh. It was crispy and steaming. They were not stingy with the sauces at all. We got ranch and spicy honey. The workers/owner were kind. There is a bit of a wait but it's definitely worth it if you want real and fresh wings. Next time will try the combo which comes with fries, drink, and a dessert. No way this is staying. This was the worse food I have ever consumed in my life. It's literally an ego knock off deep fried in maple syrup. It has fries you can LITERALLY buy at foodmaxx and the wings/ chicken was decent but Wingstop is much better and that's saying something.. . Save your time and your taste buds please.
