We were traveling and stopped by here. It's connected with a taco bell. When I walked in I heard screaming and yelling. A customer was mad that their fried chicken wasn't fresh. I was able to order and I got a mix of fried chicken and tacos. The fried chicken came first and we waited over 10 mins for the tacos til I said something. They said they accidentally gave it away to someone else and had to remake it. Food was ok. The bathrooms were pretty dirty. read more

I've been thinking about KFC for the last couple of weeks, since I visited Kentucky and the final resting place of Colonel Sanders. So today, I stopped at the KFC off I-95 and found a nearby shaded parking spot to enjoy it. A simple two piece (breast and leg) with biscuit and cole slaw. Very similar to what I've been enjoying from Bojangles, actually. Just a different batter (eleven herbs and spices!) and maybe a little greasier. Otherwise, similar. Easy to order at the speaker and my order was correct when it was handed over at the window. Packaged properly and including napkins and plasticware. I love the food and the employees. Yet, that sauce....I wouldn't know about it since it never gets put in the bag with my chicken tenders. So , minus the lack of requested sauce, I love this KFC. The food is always hot and fresh. The employees are wonderful and greet every guest. The location is convenient off I-95 and this KFC is in combination with a Taco Bell. Best of both. Overall, clean, nice staff but always look for your sauce before you get back on the road. read more

We ate here on 9/27/24 after Hurricane Helene went through the night before. We had driven up looking for food and gas. This was one of a few places open and boy were they packed. The crew did a phenomenal job of waiting on everyone and working the drive thru. Everyone had a good attitude and the chicken was going out as fast as they could cook it! We were so impressed at the team's positive attitude in an extremely busy situation. read more

the worst service ever and the manager was super rude and unprofessional. The chicken was raw and when I asked the manager to change it she gave me a bad attitude and she threw the chicken in the trash. I decided to ask for partial refund on my order which she did process but when I asked to take pictures of the raw chicken she gave me the garbage can and asked me to get it from the trash can. Great Service, associate initiative, and great customer loyalty journey experience. Around 10pm of a Sunday night a few weeks ago from the date of this post, I placed an order @drive thru at the KFC-Darien store next to I-95 (for somebody else). I was told that the fries would take about 6 minutes. After going thru the cashier I was directed to a waiting spot. About 5 minutes later, a KFC associate came over to my car to tell me that my order would take a bit longer than I was told because the fryer had been turned off -which she didn't know - and the oil would take a few minutes to warm up. She apologized for this. A few minutes later another associate came with my order and told me that she was sorry for the delay and that she had added an extra cookie to make up for my trouble. This was a great, unexpected experience at a fast food restaurant, actually probably the best experience I have had at any fast food restaurant. I am used to rude, unconsiderate, irresponsive, 'say thank-You is too expensive', 'I dont want to be here' service (with or without a pandemic). This crew was fantastic and for that I can only say Congratulations and Thank You! read more

My sister and I were going through the drive through, and the worker that took our orders was not caring and was very passive aggressive taking our order. We then asked for ketchup in the bag and drove off after getting our food and realized they didn't give us any, so we went BACK through the drive through and the same person took our order and was very annoyed at us for coming back through the line even though she messed up. So we stopped here before reading the Yelp reviews. When I did check in, I saw the featured photo was an overflowing trashcan. I did actually laugh out loud. We ordered three meals from KFC and one from Taco Bell. My Crispy Colonel meal was good and the kids each had drumstick meals with mac and cheese and those cool squeezable apple sauces. No complaints. The Taco Bell item was even a special order and they got it right. I did notice that a couple of employees were being trained and coached on what to do as or food was placed on the counter. Maybe they got rid of the bad employees? Maybe they're turning this place around? Can't say for sure but my experience was fairly positive. read more

"Ain't nobody going to that party!" As was stated by three of the four employees tonight. No wonder the food service was slow, they were contemplating their Saturday night options. Regarding the service, it was a little backed up but our order was correct and warm. This building is half KFC and half Taco Hell, I mean Bell. Their were five separate orders placed while we were there, all for KFC. Just a weird vibe overall. The store is decorated with both logos, Christian radio played on the speakers, American Ninja Warrior played on one TV while an unidentifiable SciFi movie played on another. Just passing through on our way to key west and decided to stop here for a quick dinner. Food was great and service was outstanding. Manager Julia and team member Coral were a joy to talk to. We were greeted upon arrival and talked to like we were old friends. Would definitely return. read more

Probably the worst fast food restaurant in the country. Employees were rude and seemed bothered to even take orders. Service was slow and out of order. We stopped at this location on our way home from vacation. I stopped in the restroom before ordering. It wasn't very clean, and it smelled bad (like a sewer). There was hardly any soap in the dispenser. My kids and I placed our order with the cashier who appeared to want to be anywhere else but where he was. He was also hard to hear. We poured our drinks at the soda machine. The inside of this KFC/Taco Bell was not clean either. There were straw papers and lids scattered everywhere, AND there was a dead cockroach on the floor in front of the soda machine. We waited AT LEAST 20 minutes for our food. One of the items in our order was incorrect, and the food was lukewarm at best. Do yourself a favor and pass on by this location. read more

We live a half a mile from this KFC and although very handy it has to be the worst for service in the country. They never get the order right if you are lucky enough to get someone to wait on you. For instance 2 2 weeks ago I used the drive thru because all I wanted was a couple of side orders, I waited 25 minutes and finally drove off without ever talking to anyone. Last night pretty much the same issue only we went inside this time.. Again 25 minutes went by, tried to get someone to find out where our 2 sides were and no one paid attention. Finally we got the manager to give us our money back and again came home with no food. Ridiculous. read more
