Doesn't look like much on the outside... and doesn't look like much on the inside but let me tell you this Philly cheesesteak was AMAZING! They take your order and you pay at the counter then grab your number and take a seat. Took a few minutes to get our food and there's not much to look at by means of ambience- except the two TVs. The Philly cheesesteak seemed meager but it was super filling and one of the best I've ever had outside of Philly! I got the smaller one and it was more than enough for me. I also got crinkle fries and onion rings and if you're stuck between the two, go for the onion rings! They seem super popular for their wings and the menu looked like the wing flavors were extensive but I didn't get any this trip. But I'll definitely be back... maybe tomorrow. I've never ordered chicken there in all my years of going. She must have misheard me and she got my order wrong, giving me chicken instead. when I went to the front to ask for the steak that i originally ordered, she insisted that i got chicken and told me I would need to pay again if I wanted steak. Is it possible that I misspoke and said "chicken" instead of "steak?" Sure... anything is possible, but regardless, she was extremely rude to me and even asked if I wanted her to get her husband involved. who the hell tries to turn a messed up order into a physical issue? I am a foodie and these are consistently the BEST wings I've ever had. They are small and cooked to perfection! If you like them extra cooked like me, they will do them just right. Having the best wings in town right across from Buffalo Wild Wings is so funny to me. Many different delicious flavors that has something for everyone. They have excellent burgers if you don't like wings, but if you like more smashed burgers I would recommend going to Buffalo's or Five Guys. The people there are amazing and is always a treat to stop by and get some wings. It was good, hit and fresh They do quite a business on Saturdays 3 TVs going with baseball Hubby had Wings and he said were small, but not greasy, the jerk flavoring tastes like it's added to the sauce instead of a dry rub I had the Chicken Philly which was quite hot which is great I added mushrooms and bell pepper Wish they had the sweet peppers available for it. The line never stopped while we were here which to me means the food MUST be good on a consistent basis. Aside from the cashier seeming tired and overworked based on her attitude, the service was good and the food even better. My kids, my husband and I were all very pleased. As soon as I heard wings and saw someone get their order, I decided to get a small steak Philly and have some of her wings. They served us the small crispy wings, not the fat greasy ones. The Bride got medium and I got the hot ones. Like normal, the Hot were not hot enough for me but sometimes they can be Killers. That's why I stay with the hot. The Philly was fine, good meat to cheese ratio. The was something about the bun it was served on that lacked something but I did eat it all. 4 out of 5 stars. My second time here to this establishment, very clean good customer service I've only tried the Philly cheesesteak sub at this place so far and I clearly liked it since I'm back for a second time and ordered it again. On our way home to NC we were looking for something other than fast food. Our choices for wings were buffalo wild wing or skinny Pete's. When we entered we thought it was a good call as they offered 50 wings, 2 fries and a gallon of tea for 40 bucks. Upon ordering and paying we sat down. Well we then moved from the booth because it was absolutely disgusting and you could tell it had not been cleaned in a very long time. We then went to wash our hands before eating and it is a good thing I didn't need to use the restroom and that the door was halfway open so I did not have to touch it. I went driving around Brunswick looking for a place to get some food. I ran into skinny Pete's because the Philly cheese steak wording caught my eye. I ordered the Philly hoping for the best but I must say that i was extremely disappointed. Took them about 15 minutes to make the sandwich. After unwrapping it i was surprised to see that it was one of those sandwiches where there is more bread than meat. I don't know if that was intentional but it was skimpy to say the least. I would compare it to a microwave version of a Philly cheese steak sandwich you buy in the frozen section of the grocery store. It might have been an off day for them but the Philly was a no go in my book. I did go back again to give them a chance at redemption. This time I went to try the wings and I must say that it was the exact opposite of the Philly sandwich. They are deep fried pieces of heaven. They are not battered but deep fried naked wings. This is my weekly wing spot! Highly recommended. Every week on Tuesday, my boys and I, head on over to Skinny Pete's for the All-You-Can-Eat hot wings! Add a sweet tea and some blue cheese and you are looking at $17. I must admit, my biggest pet peeve about Pete's is the .53 they charge you for more blue cheese or ranch each time you order another round of wings. It's not so much about the money as it is an inconvenience to get up from the table, wash your hands, make your way to the like, then to the register, all to pay a measly... .53 cents. Stop being cheap guys. Buy a huge thing of blue cheese and ranch and pump out twice the amount of sauce for half the price and you can afford to give the customers what they need to complete the meal and you'll probably save more money and make more profit than you do pissing off customers charging them .53 per packet of dressing.
