There's also sandwiches, combos, tenders & nuggets, sides, dessert, daily specials, and much more at reasonable prices. I was greeted by a female employee who took my order for a 2pc chicken deal which came with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. I did not want a chicken thigh, so I asked to have two drumsticks instead. My order was prepared quickly. There was nothing to complain about. The chicken was hot, crispy, and flavorful on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. Creamy mashed potatoes was covered in a tasty gravy, and the biscuit was hot, soft, and flaky. Formal Complaint: Severe Mismanagement, Customer Mistreatment, and Points Theft - Store #177 N. Powerline Rd To: KFC Corporate Guest Services / EM Squared, LLC Franchise Management I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a horrific experience I had today, May 23, 2026, at approximately 4:30 PM at the KFC location at 177 N. Powerline Rd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. I have been a loyal fast-food customer for over 35 years, and I can say without understatement that this was the absolute worst service experience of my life. Not only was I effectively robbed of my rewards points for food I never received, but the sheer hostility, entitlement, and complete lack of professionalism from the staff on duty was staggering. I arrived at the store at 4:30 PM to pick up two mobile orders. The cashier informed me that one of my orders was canceled. However, I pulled up my KFC app and showed her that the order was fully confirmed, and 500 rewards points had already been deducted from my account. The cashier refused to look at my screen, shrugged her shoulders, and completely dismissed me. I immediately asked to speak with the manager. When the manager approached, she repeated the exact same line without looking at the proof on my phone. When I asked what my options were to resolve the issue, she bluntly told me I could "call corporate." I agreed and politely asked for her name so I could document who I spoke with for my corporate refund request. She ignored me, turned her back, and walked into the office. After waiting for 5 minutes, realizing she was not returning with a business card or information, I asked again for her name. She openly refused to give it to me and stated, "It doesn't matter." I explained that I needed her name to document the conversation for my refund, and she still refused. At that point, I asked both the manager and the cashier for the General Manager's or Franchise Owner's contact information. They both flatly refused to provide it. The staff treated me like a criminal rather than a paying customer. To be ignored, dismissed, and denied basic management identification is entirely unacceptable. The woman acting as the manager on duty at 4:30 PM 5/23/26 is a liability to your brand and should be terminated. Her behavior was horrendously rude and completely toxic to a customer-facing business. Ultimately, I left the store with no names, missing food, and 500 rewards points stolen from my account. I expect KFC to take swift action regarding this location's management. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter. read more

It has been many years since I've eaten KFC. Thanks to my friends at UberEATS I got a nice offer, so I stopped in to pick up lunch. My chicken tenders were small and rather dry, fries were tasty and a generous portion. The biscuits were tasty as well, and I imagine quite unhealthy! Pickup service was fine. This experience brought back 1990's nostalgia. It makes up for Boston Market's absence and it's in desperate need of some Blockbuster Video 5 day rentals. I'll make up for it with Season 3 Episode 7 of Chucky on Peacock. We went with the Tuesday Only 8 piece bucket for $10. We added some leftovers from the fridge to spice things up -- a glass of Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile, BOGO Fresh Express Bacon Caesar Salad Kit from Publix, and some Zinho Garlic Bread with Cheese from Gala Fresh Farms, formerly Western Beef in Scandalfoot. Okay, so most of this has nothing to do with KFC except for the bucket of extra crispy sinful satisfaction. It did not come with any sides so we turned it a little adventurous. This Tuesday special has to be ordered exclusively through the app. Stars subtracted because I was with my dog and the drive through window does not handle pickup orders. I placed an online order with the KFC in Deerfield Beach on November 25, 2024. I ordered a "deal" plus several additional sides. When I arrived to pick up my order, there was a delay. A young man came to the counter to tell me that they had no coleslaw. He said they would make a substitution. A woman then came to the counter with my order. She said that they were also out of fries. I told her that was fine, she could take the items off of my order and give me credit. She stated that the store had nothing to do with the online orders, I need to contact the company to be credited. When I got home I found that not only were all of the extra sides missing, there were no sauces, and the original "deal" was incomplete. I contacted the company with my order number, and explained the situation. I received a credit, but only $15.75. I told the company that this refund was insufficient, but there was no response. After the refund, this cost me $44.10. This was the most expensive incomplete order of food I have ever had. Over $44 for a bucket of chicken. To add insult to injury, my phone number was on the original order. Someone could have called to tell me that they were out of items before I drove to the store. Apparently, no one could be bothered. Still on Covid hiatus however, my Wife had a jones for KFC. I have not had a piece of KFC chicken in so long I remembered still having all my hair. She ordered two of each original and extra crispy. My review is: eat the breading, throw out the chicken. The original was so dry and tough it was like cotton mouth and chicken jerky. The extra crispy was slightly better. The coleslaw is ok. Thick fried and very good. Chicken was excellent. Not greasy. Pleasantly tasty. Soda is unlimited but limited to only about twelve choices including iced tea. Biscuit was soft and flaky. Place is immaculately clean and that includes the restrooms. Service is helpful and friendly. I know food of this kind is not healthy but life is short and I try to make the best of it within reason. LACOYA is the BEST associate I have ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. Her customer service skills were so perfected, it was like a human AI. Quick to take the order, grateful for your business, didn't miss one thing, literally perfection. I'm beyond impressed! Food was hot and made fresh to order. Chicken was still hot when we arrived home, gravy was still piping hot and smothered perfectly over the mashed potato and coleslaw was perfect. Biscuits were fluffy and warm. We ordered three different types of chicken and regardless of which recipe you opted for it was made perfectly! Can't empathize how great this location is. Gross. I grew up a kfc fan. Hadn't had it in years. Went to this location and got chicken strips, green beans, a biscuit and cookie. Service was fast (because no one was in line, should have been a clue). Whoever is making the food used zero salt. The strips were completely bland and not even crispy. The breading fell off as soon as I touched it and was slightly soggy to the touch. The green beans also had zero salt or any flavoring at all. Again, the biscuit has zero salt, it was over baked. We do not eat or get take out from anywhere to start with. We decided to treat my 90 year old mother to a KFC dinner since she had never had it. We ordered a 12 piece bucket meal 1/2 original and 1/2 extra crispy and 2 additional grilled chicken breasts we had the cole slaw, mashed potatoes, and macroni and cheese. Everything was absolutely incredible and hot. The staff at this location was extremely helpful and polite. The order came out quick and riding home smelling the bag of goodies would make anyone hungry. My compliments to the staff and management at this location. I can't believe I'm gonna write my take on a place like KFC. First of all that specific location I went to was either a brand new one or a remodeled place and for a fast food place it looked great. Very clean and nice decor. As to the food it's regular KFC, it's either you like it or you don't. Normally I avoid places like KFC but from time to time one has to cheat. Anyway all positive with the exception of the prices. I had a 3 piece chicken meal at $10. I don't know about what everyone thinks but for me I think that is ridiculously high. Is $10 a meal at a fast food joint becoming the norm, I guess, but I feel it just too much. The only reason I'm giving this place three stars is simply because of the prices. Today my family wanted Chick-fil-A. As were driving to the Chick-fil-A in Deerfiend beach fl located at at the intersection of Powerline and Hillsboro I noticed a completely empty KFC on the north/west side of that intersection. Passing the KFC jared a memory of my cousin telling me about how the KFC chicken sandwich was sooo much better then Chick-fil-A. We proceeded to the Chick-fil-A where there was a huge line (probably 20 cars deep) for the drive through. There were 2 people outside smiling and taking orderers. We all ordered and had our food pretty quickly considering the line. I decided that I wanted to get a KFC chicken sandwich to compare and since there was no line I drove across the street to the KFC. There was still no line. I pulled up to the drive through and waited. Then waited some more. No one was talking. I wondered if the place was open. No one was there. No other cars in the drive through. It was like a ghost town. I pulled around to the window. There was a young lady there with her back to the window typing away on her phone. I waited a minute thinking she would eventually turn around and notice me. She didn't. I tapped on the window. She turned around and acted like I was bothering her. She opened the sliding glass window. I asked if she was open. She said they were open and that I needed to drive all the way back around the building and speak to the drive through speaker (there was no one behind me). I explained how I had waited at that speaker but no one was talking to me. She asked me to park my car to come inside and order. I asked "cant you just take my order right here". She grunted and said "only if its a small order". I told her that I only wanted a chicken sandwich. She allowed me to place the order and asked me to pull forward and wait in a spot. I asked "why? wait for what? There is no one behind me". She said "yea I guess you can wait right there". A minute later she handed me my chicken sandwich. My review of the sandwiches would be that they taste pretty similar. The Chick-fil-A gets bonus points for good customer service though. The KFC service was lousy. To whoever owns this KFC.... If you care anything about your business I suggest that you hire new management. Maybe put a smiling face outside to take peoples orders like Chick-fil-A. This is a spacious and clean KFC, but the best thing about it is the employees. Service is fast and courteous.
