For a fast food fried chicken joint, 5 stars. Service was good, food was hot, the menu variety was great, they had options my kids liked, the interior was updated and clean. My only complaint would be that they are so generous with food and refills for the homeless that they are all around the parking lot and resturaunt. On our roadtrip from California to Florida & back - we visited many different restaurants along the way. We don't normally eat at KFC, but thought we would give it a try. From the moment we entered the building, we 3 were greeted with genuine, professional hospitality. Patricia (Peppi) was our hostess, & helped us to navigate the menu, to individually suit each one of us. Wow! I didn't expect such friendliness & genuine care. We got our food & sat at a clean table, by the window. The restaurant & bathrooms were clean, the food was fresh & delicious, & the hospitality was welcoming. The service at the Deming Nm KFC is the worst in the country. They are ignorant, rude, and very incompetent workers. The food they make is disgustingly greasy. They will hang up on you if you ask them a question. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here, you might leave with food poisoning. HORRIBLE KFC! We were travelling from out of state and decided to stop in Deming for the night. Texas to California. We decided to eat at KFC because we like KFC. Atleast in Texas we do. The experience was not bad but the staff was rude. Also we were missing orders and they called us liars. On the way back home from California two weeks later we decided to stop in Deming again and also get KFC AGAIN. Not many eating options in Deming plus that's what second chances are for! This experience was HORRIBLE. A hour in a half before closing and they ran out if chicken and were not going to cook anymore. 7 out of 8 meals were fulfilled except mine. I ordered a number one which was a leg and thigh. Employee comes to our table. "We ran out of thighs, Can we give you two legs or a breast instead?" I don't like white meat so that was a no go for me and I would lose meat by getting two legs. Finally he explains he has some wings. I love wings so I said "well I would need a few of those to fill me up." He said he could do that but I could hear the manager getting mad. Many more customers came in to order chicken and everytime they had to tell them they were out of chicken but had chicken tenders left. Then they were out of Pepsi. They couldnt refill it. My mother had sweet tea from behind the counter. Still 45 mins until closing and she wanted a refill. I took it up there and asked for more tea. The employee says "we just poured it out." You poured your tea out 45 mins before closing? The bathroom started flooding while we were there. Water was all over the lobby. Someone said to the employee behind the counter. "You know there is water out here on the floor, and the girl behind the counter said "yeah, Want some?" EWWW. I didnt find that joke funny. No one cleaned the water up the 35 mins we were there. Something's happened along the COVID-wage hikes-supply chain problems. Prices have gone up at this KFC, while portion weights have dropped. I used to get a bucket once a week, now I only go by once a month, if that. Sorry, but there's a Chesters Chicken at a nearby gas station where the prices are lower and the quality is on par if not better than KFC in Deming. read more

We've tried multiple times to order online specials for pickup at the Deming NM location and have not once had the order go through. Of course, the counter staff can't give you the same order at the online special price and has no solution for not being able to order online on the always broken website. We have tried enough times and will just go elsewhere from now on. read more

Have eaten there several times but this last visit was the last straw. The dining area was filthy most tables needing bussing. The floor was littered with food and debris. My wife looked in the kitchen area as we left and it was worse than the dining area. It seems the employees just do not care. This unit should be an embarrassment to the KCF restaurant chain. We had friend try to eat there but after waiting over 30 minutes in line they left to eat someplace else. How this restaurant stays in business is a mystery to me. read more

The sign on the door said they open at 10:30. It is black Friday, but there were no other signs indicating a late opening today. We arrived at 10:45 to locked doors. My husband stood at the door and the employee inside just waved and kept going about her business. About 5 minutes later she came to the door and stated they would be opening in 11 minutes. I had a hankering for some good ol' fried chicken, and I knew McD's and Wendy's were not going to fit the bill. My kids loved the fried chicken (and my kids can be picky eaters). We grew up with KFC - Always such a treat Back then! The Deming store is so unpredictable. More often than not - nothing is available, wrong pieces of chicken are placed in orders, always missing either mashed potatoes or coleslaw or a biscuit. So frustrating to get a piece of white meat in a dark meat order and visa versa. Especially when a person is very particular about only liking dark or white meat chicken. Still I decided to get my mom, of 87 years, a KFC Dinner for Dinner (not a snack). She only likes dark meat - so easy right - a 2 piece meal. When I got the meal to her the 2 pieces of chicken were the smallest ANYONE had ever seen! She commented - "they must have a deal for Banty chickens". The actual Thigh Bone was 1 1/2" long and yielded a total of two bites of meat. You would think that with the miniature thigh that they could at least put a decent drumstick but no......must have been from the same chicken. Workers don't care. I can assure you if I were a family or friend I would have received what should have been a fair portion. The 2 piece white meal had a wing which was probably from the same above miniature chicken. I am so tired of the mystery game. It is not like prices are cheap. Would be nice if the employees were trained to process orders fairly. If there is a MINIATURE/TINY piece of chicken maybe they could add another SMALL piece to order. At least give what the customer paid for! Such a joke and so irritating to bring home dinner and find that you need to prepare something additional because all you get is a miniature chicken appetizer!
