Being super hungry while out & about I decided to swing thru KFC's drive-thru & try the Wednesday Special. The Special consisted of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with white gravy, coleslaw & a biscuit for $5.99. Not a bad deal & not a bad price either. I was the only car there, it took just a couple of minutes to pay & get my meal. Service was very fast & friendly. I'm not able to comment on the ambiance since I was only in the drive-thru. The portions were on the smaller size...more of a lunch than a dinner. The hot items - chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & gravy were lukewarm. The steak had good flavor but tasted like it was prepared & cooked ahead of time. The mashed potatoes, coleslaw, gravy & biscuit tasted good as usual. However, no butter with the biscuit. Next time I'll stick with my favorite - the original recipe fried chicken, which is always yummy! read more

Hard to write this as a fan of over 50 years, but seen this chain slip down last year. Like flavor lacking maybe 5 of the herbs, not changing the oil as often so holds onto the grease. Wait did you hear that? Sounds of the kernel rolling over in his grave in shame. read more

This was the worst KFC I have ever had. Ordered 2pc original meal to take home. Both pcs of chicken tasted like chicken jerky, seems like it has been sitting there for days. Also the biscuit was cold and hard as a rock. For the cost I will not be going back and do not recommend this place. Buyer beware. read more

Went inside this time to order since my orders in the drive thru are always wrong. The employee taking my order had her earbuds in and I had to repeat myself 3 times to her because she couldn't hear me. Take your dang earbuds out then. And ofcourse, when I checked my bag items were missing as usual. I was the only customer too, guess one order is too much to handle. read more

First off, this was the best; very best KFC I have ever had. Not only was the chicken very fresh, but it was flavorful and the extra crispy was spot on. The staff was amazing, unlike many of the other locations around Denver, this staff was top notch smiling, laughing, and enjoying working there. The ambiance was extremely well done. Very clean inside. Great touch adding all the happy face photos of staff and their certs. Want to say great job to the GM and the staff. You all run an excellent business there. Keep it up. I love love love KFC . I've been eating KFC since I was a kid and I'm in my 30s now . With that said , I probably eat KFC at least once a month . So the problem with this particular KFC location in GVR is not the service at all . I've been here numerous times and management seems to take care of service Z everyone is nice and food comes out timely . Now what in the world is wrong with the original fried chicken though ??? I've tried this specific location in Green valley ranch about 6-7 times and man they have not once gotten that original taste . I'm sorry guys ... this franchise does not meet KFC quality original taste which I've been eating for about 30 years now . Sadly , I drive about 10 mins to buy KFC by Peoria ... Went by the drive through, ordered a number 3 with an extra side of coleslaw because I can't do Chicken with out my coleslaw but they ended up throwing a side of watered down Mac n cheese in there and my son ordered a number 11 with the 5 peace tenders but he just got 3 peace's, keep in mind that they charged me for everything but yet my order was all kinds of messed up, and to end it off the cashier was rude, never in my life going back to this store. This place just newly opened last week or so and sent out coupons in the mail. I went there to use the free Go Cup coupon, no purchase required. This place has stiff competition from Popeye's and King Soopers' own deli fried chicken(which is pretty good for grocery store). The go cup is a plastic container with a lid divided into two parts with chicken in one side and potato wedges in the other. Up on the menu they list a variety of choices to choose from for the protein, but apparently with the coupon you're stuck with 2 tenders. I would've preferred the sandwich. The main reason I went to KFC is because I love their cole slaw and I haven't been to one in awhile so I got the cravings. So I paid $2.58 for their individual side. With all the free Go cups being handed out and easily packed sides I thought service would be fast (there was no line when I came in). But it still took 5-10 minutes to get my order, kinda slow for just grabbing stuff to put into cups. I sat down at the little tables and had to immediately get up and move to a booth because those were the hardest most uncomfortable chairs ever. The cole slaw had the same great taste I always admired but it was very expensive for how little you get. The sides at Popeye's are much bigger, and for less than $1 more at King's Soopers you can get an entire pound of cole slaw (about 3-4x as much as this tiny container). The chicken tenders were well tender I guess. Not crispy so I'm not sure if the "ec" on my receipt was supposed to mean extra crispy or not, not too much flavor so I'm glad they were generous with the sauces. The potato wedges were pretty good, flaky and crispy on the outside. I might visit one or two more times unless my coupons already expire by the next time I have a craving for cole slaw. But with the local competition here, they have to do much better with the prices and portions. read more

I stopped in tonight around 6 pm. There were 3 other people in the KFC and they already had their food. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come to the front counter to take my order. This poor kid was so new that he had no clue what he was doing. Couldn't get my order right in 4 fries. Then when my food came I couldn't find one table that was clean. The floors were filthy also. Very evident that the manager at this location doesn't care about a clean restaurant. Then my food. I ordered the spicy honey chicken tender meal. The chicken was the size of nuggets not tenders and had been there since noon as it was so over cooked that it was inedible. I have been to this location twice and both time it was horrible. Went here a year ago and was charged $6.50 for the 5 buck boxes we ordered. I was told the internet prices were wrong. Waited a year to go back and apparently it was too soon. Still shit service. Ordered online. Got there and waited 20 minutes outside for my order. They served the other 3 cars that pulled up after I did before they served me. Got home and checked my order. 8 peices consisted of 4 tiny legs, 2 wings I think and 2 thighs that were ripped apart. When we called the girl refused to let us speak to the manager because she said he was busy. She then told us she couldn't do anything for us because we placed our order online. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know about this shithole. Update.... So after making a complaint to kfc corporate the so called manager Maria called us and apologized and offered to replace our meal. 3 days in a row we've tried but keep getting a run around from Daniel the so called ASSistant manager claiming he has no idea who we are and the manager is not in. Only three stars because the food was good. But the staff could use some serious customer service training. Went in about a month ago around 7:30pm, waited about 5 minutes to be noticed. There should be cameras everywhere in the back so staff can see customers when they walk in. And how about a "Welcome to KFC!" for EVERY customer no matter what time it is? Come to the counter and actually listen to my order instead of preparing it when I'm not even sure it's correct. Why should I have to shout my order to you instead of using a normal voice? Even while I was waiting to order, SOME acknowledgement of my presence would have been nice. You'd be surprised how a simple "Be right with you." can increase a customer's patience! How much can you actually expect from a fast food chicken place? Well, this KFC will surpass what you expect! We went in for a cheap, quick meal before we fly out, and were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and fresh. When there would be a wait on the Extra Crispy my daughters ordered, they offered to change it to a different variety, and then gave us each extra cookies and biscuits for the trouble. The service was friendly and attentive. The place was really clean. It was more than what I'd expect at a KFC, these folks deserve a shout out for doing their jobs very well. read more

Came here for a quick, cheap and good meal, but left with a horrible taste for this location. Today I chose to go through the drive-thru which I usually don't do and the first think I hear when I come to the speaker..."What can I get you?" No, welcome to KFC how may I assist you? Just seems like the girl working the drive-thru has no care in the world. I had to repeat my drink selection multiple times since she couldn't hear me or just wasn't listening. Usually when I go to a drive-thru, they will also repeat the order to you, I guess they just decided to not do that at this location. Then to top it all off.....once she gave me my food and card...she SLAMS the window shut without saying thank you or have a great day or anything. I understand if you had a bad day, but leave that at the door, you are at work and because of this experience, I probably won't be coming back. If I get treated like I'm nothing but a dollar amount, then I will not spend my money there again. Oh, but I guess the empty parking lot could've also gave a sign of no one wants to eat here.
