I ordered through DoorDash as I did try to go there once to order and takeout but not the best spot on Colfax and just street parking. I was excited to try the wings! We got two sauces - Jamaican Jerk and hot buffalo. The wings were great! Crisp outside and juicy inside. The Buffalo is buffalo. The Jamaican jerk was packed full of flavor. It was sweeter than it was spicy which I wasn't expecting. The cheesesteak sandwich was basic and filling. Okay I know, I'm from Buffalo, so my chicken wing standards, are high, but wow these wings were very very disappointing. I ordered 15 wings half mango habanero half golden bbq. I got my wings and I must say, they just looked undercooked. They weren't crispy, and when I bit into it, it was mushy and there was no crunch to it. Flavor wise they are very very bland. If I order mango habanero, I expect to be sweating at bare minimum. These tasted like they had some honey and red pepper flakes. There was absolutely no mango flavor and the heat was mild at best The golden bbq was just as bland. Almost no bbq flavor with a mild honey after taste. My friend also ordered wings and he got the jamaican jerk. It tasted like literal vinegar, and had no hint of actual flavor or spice. Needless to say after I got home, I had to re-cook and re-sauce my wings. Either way my product tasted great, but I will not be ordering from here anytime soon! Well, it's unfortunate that this restaurant chose to close early tonight and cancel my $30 food order instead of just fulfilling it like they're supposed to. My order went in well before 10pm, and, on the profile of this restaurant, it clearly says they don't close until 10:30pm. Sooo unfortunate, because with what they had on their menu, and their proximity to my home, they could've easily become my favorite delivery spot. Instant banana pudding with bananas and Nilla wafers sprinkled on top for $3.25. This is not banana pudding. Even the most simple of banana pudding recipes call for layering the bananas and wafers so that the flavors blend together. As others mentioned in their reviews, there is no where to sit. I am not sure if it is a good thing I discovered this place or not. It seems as if I may be keeping them in business when it comes to all future wing cravings. I was at a friends house and they got several different kinds of wings from here and brought them home. We tried hot, asian chili and honey BBQ. I honestly haven't had a better wing in Denver yet! When you order wings to go they tend to get soggy in the packaging. These were cooked perfectly and still crispy when they arrived at the house. The wings weren't weird, like some you find around town that aren't cooked well enough or have feather hairs still attached. That may sound weird, but I am PICKY about my chicken friends. So take my word for it, this place is not clucking around when it comes to serving up delicious hot wings. They were generously sauced, packaged and delivered straight into my belly with pure satisfaction. They also have good fries that are battered and flash fried. I am sure they have other "things" but this was all we got and we were happy as can be. It is workth mentioning that they are two blocks from another wing joint with an oddly similar name, so make sure you know where you are going. The last time I ordered online though, I had waited over an hour for my delivery so I was calling to find out what was going on and I never got though. I have ordered from this place for years, without any issues. Tonight though that changed. We ordered five wing meals for five different people. My kids of course started eating before I did, But when I started eating I bit into a wing and immediately could tell it was rotten. I then proceeded to investigate all of our meals and found rotten wings in each one. They seem to have been mixed in with the good wings because there was never more than three bad wings in a meal. I drove all the way across town to take them back to the store to have the cook act like I was crazy. The fact that he couldn't even admit that it was a possibility that there was something wrong with his food was mind-boggling. He did tell me how he spends half an hour each day washing his chicken. And now I have three kids who might end up with food poisoning because they had already eaten some of the rotten wings. And one of my kids just had surgery so vomiting is a huge risk for his stitches right now. I ordered the catfish nuggets and the food was pretty good. Nicely spiced and cooked just right. Maybe a little hint of old fry oil but, for the most part, the food was good. Here's the rub -- it is very dirty in this restaurant. Every single surface is sticky and greasy -- even the pad to pay them was gross and I was resistant to use my finger to sign the credit bill. While I waited for my order, I couldn't help but notice the level of dirt and grime everywhere. They seriously need to do a top-to-bottom THOROUGH clean. I know this business is frying a lot so that makes it harder but REALLY? Clean your restaurant!! It wasn't because they were too busy either. This is great food. We each got a Gyros sandwich, which comes with fries, and shared 8 teriyaki pineapple wings. The gyros was one of the best I've ever had, and the fries are seasoned well. The wings are crispy and have great flavoring. The only reasons I took one star off are: our sandwiches came with a can of pop (according to the menu) and they didn't give them to us, and I asked for my gyros sauce on the side & they gave me no sauce. I've been here a couple of times now and I've tried everything but the wings. I've had a gyro and the catfish. Both were actually pretty good. This is a very small place and they cook everything to order. The lamb for the gyro was seasoned well. The sauce was bland and perhaps came out of a jar. They have so many flavors its ridiculous. I'm a more traditional buffalo hot kind of guy so i usually go back and forth between the "XXX" and the "sweet and sour hot". They are a good price, and if you get a combo their fries are seriously amazing, and you get a heaping portion. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves wings. Their catfish nuggets are great too. They also have pretty much any fried side you can think of. *they fry everything in peanut oil, so if you're allergic I'm sorry, but if not this oil seems to give it a crisp unique taste.
