Stopped there this week ordered a 3 piece meal they charged my card for a 8 piece meal $28. I said no you put in wrong order. I wanted it corrected and refund , manager said she didn't know how to do that , I insisted she learn , she started dropping the F#*^ bombs screaming and ranting , told me to come back tomorrow and it would be 3/5 days to get money back ??? , I asked if she was nuts ?? I wanted her to call someone again the f words came screaming out of her garbage mouth , I called corporate and reported her to them , they took the I formation suddenly got my refund the next morning , it's always been a disgusting KFC but it's 10 time worst nowadays stay away from there is my recommendation unless you want a case of botulism!!!! read more

Disgusting!! Isn't KFC original chicken known for their "11 herbs and spices." This is the second time we've gone here and the chicken was tasteless and taste like it was cooked in old oil. Also the chicken is soggy and grossly inflated twice the size of normal chicken. For the prices they charge we won't be going back there. I usually hate leaving reviews and hate dealing with them, but this, this is just unacceptable. I ordered a 6 piece chicken meal, $6.99 on the menu. As I'm paying, the price had jumped to $12 and change. I just paid for it for the reason that I didn't want to cause a commotion. So I get my food and go to get a drink. There's no ice... Whatever that's fine I'll just get a cup of... Lukewarm/warm... Dr Pepper... Okay now I'm upset. Next I go to sit down, the workers are legitimately pointing at me, and speaking in Spanish, behind a bunch of machines, I looked over and they suddenly stopped talking and one of them started giggling. I told them there was no ice, so they bring me a cup with (I kid you not) six ice cubes. Six TINY ice cubes. You're in East Haven, go to a good restaurant. This is my first and only Yelp review to date. I understand that KFC is fast food. However, the service here is terrible. I do not eat fast food often, but I have ordered Kentucky Grilled Chicken from this establishment twice in the last 6 months. The drive- thru system was broken on both occasions.There are no signs directing customers to pull up to the window. I was allowed to place an order on both visits only to be told to pull forward because the intercom didn't work. The first time this happened, I placed my order, received a total of approximately $8, gave the woman at the register a $20 bill and received change for a $10. Shortly thereafter, I was told there was no grilled chicken. Ugh! Tonight, I went through the same rigmarole at the intercom. When I pulled forward to place my order, the woman at the window (who appeared to be the manager) opened the window only halfway and said nothing. No hello, no apology for making me attempt to shout my order at the intercom-just nothing. Instead, she crossed her arms, leaned back on her heel and stood there. I gave her my order, she told me the price, took the money and then turned to read a newspaper. The younger woman who prepared the order actually said: "Have a good night." I would have given this place two stars based upon her effort, but when I got home and opened the box, I saw that my chicken resembled brown rocks. I pulled it apart with my fingers and as I suspected, it was extremely dry. I won't go back to this KFC anymore. read more

This KFC should close its doors for good. Unless the owner is laundering money through this location, I can't fathom how anyone is profiting there. The food is never fresh. They always have menu items unavailable. I've been there a couple times but today's experience will make sure I will NEVER go back. After a 10 min wait for good I never received, I was told the cook forgot to prepare the item I asked for. And then was offered a lesser item I did not want. When I asked for my money back the "manager" was surprised and hesitant to return MY money. To anyone thinking of going to purchase food at this location, save yourself the time and aggravation. It's your average KFC when it comes to taste. The interior is probably the most melancholic environment ever. If you ever come here save yourself from depression and go through the drive thru, although it might take a while since there is only 1 worker who actually cares. read more

This KFC has got to be one of the worst restaurants around. I've never given restaurant a lower review before, but I just need to warn you. This is the dirtiest dingiest place I have ever been. It's time for a remodel or knock down. There is hardly anyone ever here. If you saw this place you'd probably figure out way. Anyway. I've tried this place several times in hopes it would get better, but it never has. Today I went though the drive thru. I turned in because of all the signage not only in the windows but also at the drive thru. "Boneless Chicken Combo" $4.99. Good deal. I wanted to try it. The person on the speaker told me it wasn't available in a combo anymore. I asked how much it was going to be if it was not a combo. The person gave my a dollar amount close to $8. I left and drove across the street to McDonalds where I was more than happy to wait in line. There was no line at KFC, but then there were no customers either. I'd love for them to do an undercover boss show on this store. There wouldn't be any employees afterward. This restaurant is a disgrace to the KFC corporation. read more

My opinion, their chicken is just like any type of fried chicken you would get at this type of place. Ever since Popeyes came around, not many people have been going to KFC as much. KFC used to be a big hit, but ever since they haven't been getting customers, the place turned into a dump. The chicken and their desserts just sit there, and are usually given cold. They give you the worst portions, and the place is disgusting. The floors are dirty and the tables are a mess. The workers there usually have an attitude, and when they don't, they usually don't get the orders right. read more

I can't remember the last time I bought KFC, but my wife said she wanted fried chicken. So I went to the East Haven, CT store drive through. My wife wanted boneless original and I wanted grilled. I checked the KFC site on the internet before I went so I knew ahead of time what to order. I ordered 3 pieces of the boneless original and 3 pieces of the grilled. The person told me through the speaker that the store does not do grilled. Okay I said, give me 6 pieces of the boneless original. I went up to the pick-up window and watched the employee put the pieces in the box. I asked to see what I was being given. She tipped the box enough so I could barely see the contents. The pieces sure didn't look like what was shown on the internet! I got home and my wife and I both started to eat. It was disgusting. The pieces were overcooked and dried out! Two of the small pieces tasted like fish for some reason. It was then that I remembered why I don't eat KFC. read more
