HORRIBLE. Placed delivery order at 9pm. Per account delivery instructions "Please RING doorbell so we can put dogs away". Saw notification driver nearby so placed dogs in crates prior to driver arrival. Ring notification regarding movement but driver did not ring doorbell. Food left on ground. Reviewing items when arrived and I noticed a missing item. Had she rang the doorbell she would have known she was missing our item. Called local restaurant and Manager informed I have to contact DoorDash since delivery unless I want to pick up tomorrow. I don't want it tomorrow. DoorDash and KFC Customer service lines are closed. Terrible service. Placed my order, told it would be five minutes and to wait out front. So I waited. After 20 minutes I went into the store to ask about my order. I was told it's right here. The gentleman said he came out and called the order and there was no response. I told him I was right out side the door the only time he came out it wasn't my order. He insisted he did. Not! Ain't nothing "famous" about the KFC Famous Bowls they're serving up at this location. The stingy management at this place has put 4-5 small pieces of popcorn chicken in my bowl the last four times I've visited. I will never go back. Since they are cutting corners in obvious ways, imagine the corners they could be cutting in ways that are not visible (e.g., not changing frying oil for months, not sanitizing surfaces, not washing hands, etc.). Are the employees nice? Yes. But it doesn't matter when I'm paying $6 for a bowl of dehydrated mashed potatoes. In the good ole days the entire top layer was covered with chicken. This is pathetic. This place is disgusting after waiting for 3 minutes to make an order one of the crew members handed out a food item to a customer just to look back and question his employing asking why did they give them extra fries and proceeded to tell the customers that he would take them back and served them to a different customer. Actually, this is probably the best fast food place in Fernley. The management is really cool too. When I was in there, I had to wait a bit, but it didn't matter because the chicken was really good, it was really clean, and the managers are really nice. So I would definitely recommend this if you enjoy chicken. read more

The worst fast food service I've ever experienced and I've lived in America my whole life! My $10 order took longer than full service at a sit down restaurant would take. I went to this KFC on my lunch break and was over 15 minutes late clocking back in to work, and I work less than a mile down the road. On top of it all, they still got my order wrong. Half of their workers were just standing around or pretending to clean the floor the whole time. I've never in my life felt the need to write a yelp review for a fast food joint until this experience. There was a sign next to the drive thru window that encouraged employees to complete orders in under 200 seconds. I'd shoot for under 200 minutes first guys. read more

I've gone to this location maybe 3-4 times now and first off, I'd like to say the quality is much better than what I had at the KFC in Reno (Reno's isn't bad or anything, this location is just much better). Anyway, I don't have anything but positive reviews for the Fernley location, they do their job really well. For the first time, I had a mistake with my order (received an original chicken sandwich when I supposed to get a spicy one. I didn't really care to wait any longer & I knew there wasn't too much of a difference in the sandwiches) but I'm appreciative that employee offered us some hot sauce and gave us free cookies because of that. read more

I mixed pink lemonade and Pepsi together, a sort of made up energy drink. The tattooed leather skinned manager who probably had to work the front because someone didn't show for work couldn't of been nicer, told me drink all the pop I wanted. I sat down in front of recently cleaned glass windows displaying a bright Nevada desert and ate a great wing and creamy slaw lunch, the best little lunch that desert town or even Nevada itself could possibly offer, and it cost around 6 dollars.
