This Kentucky Fried Chicken location has a tasty lunch buffet set up in their dining area, which has all the favorite menu items served up hot. The fried chicken was regularly replenished in small batches so it didn't sit under the heat lamp too long. The cold leg of the buffet held the desserts, condiments and cold drink dispensers. The downside is that they provide you with a plastic foam 3-compartment lunch plate, plastic fork, and a small dessert plate. There were no replacement plates evident, and you aren't supposed to take a used plate back to the buffet. So, everyone we saw either overfilled their plates, piling the food on, or, in some cases, used their little dessert plate to shuttle food items from the buffet to their table. The food was typical KFC offerings, and the buffet was well tended to during this visit. I can't speak to the dinner buffet or the drive thru/take home service, but we'll go back for the lunch buffet the next time we're in the mood for that type of meal (I almost said "dining" experience!). Since this is our first visit to this establishment, let me point out how I score: 5 stars - Couldn't be better. No way to improve (I rarely award these) 4 stars - Great experience. The chicken was fried in old, brown oil. The mashed potatoes were ice cold; gross. Biscuits were cold and HARD; obviously old. Ordered three-piece chicken dinner all white original when received I checked the order. The pieces were very dark, almost black and looked overcooked. I mentioned it to the cashier. She went to the manager, and the manager said that's just the way it is. Took the order home could not eat the skin and the meat was dried out burnt chicken. Very por service started with ordering at 2 pm today, then there was 8 PC bucket meal,a 4 PC breasts meal, and kids tender meal with fries. Got home potatoes but no gravy , kids meal with no fries, but they sent apple sauce, place was dirty ,and no one seamed to know how to do anything. Smartest thing owner could do is just shut the doors permanently fire everyone there,been this way las few times we go there. We stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch. That was our big mistake. We ordered, and paid for a lunch we never received. There were only two people working in the restaurant and they finally told us that they were backed up by 15 orders. We could not wait even though we paid. The young lady in drive through was polite, clearly spoken, and a sweet smile. We really like this location for the food. Until the last two months. (November December) The chicken is so dry. Texture like it's been under a heat lamp for many hours. Slaw that was one of my favorites is now so tasteless I thought I had Covid. The potatoes so bland gravy couldn't help out. So utterly awful. Came through and ordered a 2 piece Thigh and Breast. Got home it was a thigh and leg. I am sure working there they teach you the difference between a breast and a leg. The clerk took the box and threw away what I brought back and went in the back and talked to the guy cleaning g the fryer for probably 5 minutes before bringing a box back. Terrible customer service. Rude mouthy employee. Waited 45 minutes after my order was paid for. Just two small chicken meals. Was treated very rude. Clerk handed me the bag then said "don't touch that bag until I hand it to you. You've got to confirm your order." She couldn't seem to understand I was not a door dash driver and that it was my own personal order. They gave me crispy instead of the original I ordered. But I was just so glad to be out of there. What a terrible experience. Would not honor the in line price in the restaurant. Did not even get the order correct. Wanted two 20 dollar fill up meals.
