Horrible experience. I wish I could say it was the first time, but I feel I've given this place more opportunities than I'd like to admit. Last night I ordered a 6-piece + 6 tenders (with sauce) with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and biscuits. Picked it up around 7pm, asked about a portion I couldn't clearly see, and was assured it was all there. Got home and half the order was missing: the tenders, their sauces, and the biscuits. Tried calling multiple times with no answer, so I had to drive back for my food. It wasn't even busy. Yes, they were apologetic with the "oh for real? Let me get that for you!" energy, but even then they almost sent me off with half again because the person literally said "oh I didn't even see that" right in my face. Just a "sorry about that, here you go" and that was it. No extra effort to make up for the mistake. This isn't the first time. There's always something missing or wrongly given at this location. Even the one time I ate in, I was given a wrong item. I've given this place enough chances. Not worth the hassle. read more

The chicken was supposed to be crispy and it was soggy. I got 2 large sides and we're not filled and the manager told me that they're only allowed to give 2 scoops of potatoes and 2 scoops of coleslaw,not even close to being full,so I ordered an extra potatoes. The biscuits were small and not fluffy,felt like they had been there for a little while,at least the French fries were warm when I got the meal. We won't be going back!! Came here for my favorite, the famous bowl and fries. The fries were so fresh and the service was one of the nicest service I had this month. One of the best fries I've ever ate, so crispy and hot! The employees were selling meth instead of making my order some guy was drinking whiskey in the lobby. I think he just bought meth from them. Worse workers ever, i work in the food industry and never have i ever been so disappointed with kfc or any food place. The manager is very unprofessional and treats his employees terribly i saw two employees sitting in the lobby while one person was taking orders making them and handing them out while the manager sat in the back watching with a phone in there hand. Finally received my order Crispy Colonel Sandwich. Check under my bun found two little chicken strips. Like snack size chicken strips for the mini snack size sandwich. The reviews on here couldn't be more accurate. It's been a disaster every time I've been here. The first time I tried to come here I was told they were only accepting online orders. I've never heard that before, but whatever, I left. The second time I came here was to pick up a Doordash order. I arrive as the dasher to pick up the food inside the lobby. I stood there at the front for 10 minutes before someone would acknowledge me. Just to be told the orders gonna be about 20 minutes until it's ready once they finally acknowledge me. So I canceled the door dash order and left. Hopefully it was ready by the time a new driver got assigned. The employees in there all looked like they had an attitude too. Today, I went to get food myself. Ordered a nuggets kids meal for my kid and nuggets and a chicken little for myself. Got home just to realize I didn't get the chicken little, no sides, no milk for the kids meal. There was no line. And I had to wait 5 minutes just for the dude to give me ranch at the window. This is the most poorly ran establishment on Barry Rd. If you want KFC drive down 152. This location really needs to just be shut down. read more

I have been a fan of Kentucky fried chicken in my whole life. I went to the one on Barry Road across from the old Metro North mall. Each time it gets worse and worse and worse. This time they told me I would have to wait 10 or 15 minutes because the register was being counted. Then they told me I needed to come in and place my order that's the only way they could take it. When I get in the store, they told me I had would have to wait 10 or 15 minutes till he was done counting the door. The managers name was Adrian. I heard him laughing and visiting with the staff not counting money. And you only have one register? I personally watched seven or eight cars. Just leave out of frustration.. There was five team members on hand. The place was absolutely filthy food on the tables. The trash completely overflowing. Went to use the bathroom, no toilet paper. The trash was disgusting. Proceeded to wait for 20 more minutes for my food. 25 when it was sitting right in front of me visually. The manager must be smoking dope or shame on you, what a bad bad name for Kentucky fried chicken. This place is gone downhill. read more

My wife & I got two orders of chicken with mashed potatoes & gravy with biscuits. The biscuits were so hard that one could about break a tooth on them. The biscuits didn't cause what 4.5 hrs later would become a massive case of diarrhea for both of us. Neither one of us have had the flu or anything else to eat that day. It wasn't just the diarrhea that was bad, but also the accompanying flatulence. It either had to be the gravy, or old chicken. My advice to anyone willing to risk eating at the Barry rd location is to never purchase chicken or anything else late in the day. Absolutley HORRIBLE SERVICE. So I literally just got "pleasantly" kicked out by the manager after I refused to give them the .48 coin change from the order I placed. Scenario is this, my order total was 14.52, I gave $20, the manager proceed to tell me he has to keep the .48 because he has no coins. He then continued to antagonise me by saying I "should" have a card. He ended by insulting me by sarcastically saying "have a good day" three times then slamming the drive through window in my face... The way I see it, this is truly another way to scam customers and pocket money... (there is not a national coin shortage. He can simply take a moment and go to the bank). Riddle me this, where does the extra $ go once the register is balanced at the end of the night? In this case, take .48 and multiply it by 100 customers, that register has $48 unaccounted money. (Not to mention what a really nice hustle this is if you do this the entire month... THATS's close to a $1000!) Another thought ... I wonder if the owner knows of this? If he/she does, then this is truly a despicable business practice. An honest business would simply get change, offer to give some other product to make the difference, OR simply take the reduced profit loss. TO CHARGE ONE PRICE THEN TAKE MORE because they feel you have to eat there IS WRONG! Finally, I never play the race card, ignorance is ignorance but as an African American business owner I'm always angry when I see our race of people depicted as rude and ignorant. It's even more infuriating when you have guys like this perpetuating that narrative. (Even, in this labor shortage, I would NEVER have this manager as an employee.) I've probably taken time to leave a negative review 5 times in my 30 years of running my own business, I know how difficult it is to make it all work. So we left and went fo drive thru, waited another 15 minutes to get waited on, we all, ordered white meat and paid the premium price for it and only 1 out of 3 were white meat! Was not impressed by my order that I got at this location tonight. First I did not get a receipt. So I do not know if I was charged for the upsized soda I requested and did not receive. Second I ordered two of the combo's. Neither of those combos came with the cookie that always comes with them. The famous bowl was horrible. The first impression I had was this unkept, tattooed, pierced everywhere girl that saw me walk in and turned her back towards me, then walked in back to b.s. with the staff who were all busy. When she finally decided to do her job, I ordered the 8 piece bucket meal with a side of coleslaw and potato wedges. She neglected to tell me they no longer have potato wedges.
