(BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT CHARGES) 2 weeks ago I had a suspicious transaction from this KFC. I was overcharged, I called customer service and they said they would get back to me. I haven't heard anything. The employee held onto my card longer than usual and gave me an unusual receipt that didn't display my food prices. Very suspicious and I suspect she was overcharging my card to hide the cash she stole from the drawer. I had a unusual authorization code on the receipt. I will keep everyone posted but I do not recommend this establishment. If you do choose to go to this KFC BEWARE and ask for receipt. Do not pay with a card. P.S. I was in today with my mother getting food for our family for a Mother's Day get together. They were super busy- several cars in the drive-thru and several more people inside. They did not have original recipe so I opted to wait while they cooked more. Byron, the manager, was very apologetic and brought my mother and I two of the new Cinnabon dessert biscuits and two large drinks for our wait. When our food was ready he brought it out, apologized again, and included 4 more dessert biscuits with our order. Really appreciate the great customer service and yummy chicken. read more

This place is horrible. I have been a patron at many KFC restaurants during my lifetime, and this one is hands down the absolute worst. Sat waiting for my pretty basic order for over 20 minutes. Not only were the tables and food/drink areas gross, I wouldn't even consider using their bathrooms. The place as a whole was nasty. Paint peeling off the walls, and it looks like it hasn't been taken care of in years. The food itself was pathetic. My pieces looked like they came off a baby chicken. A nice pool of grease was at the bottom of my box. The staff moved around like turtles, and didn't seem to want to be there, let alone bothered by their patrons. What was once a decent chain is now a ghost of what it used to be. Whoever owns this particular building should be ashamed of themselves. If there was a way to give them zero stars, that is exactly what I would do. read more

Hands down the worst restaurant in the industry. Auni the manager spends his time deflecting responsibility and mirroring his staffs incompetence. Auni does not care about satisfying his customers nor does he strive for any basic standard. I have been to this restaurant twice in the last 30 days to complain about staff leaving early on the weekends as I know who they are and I want them held accountable. Same middle aged man in the drive through during pm hours. I always order hot wings which I love and I know I have to wait. Waiting is fine with me since I know it'll be fresh and hot. He is always "put out" that I didn't order crap that has been sitting there since lunch. Then instead of hustling out to my car to give me my order, he walks sloooooow as he looks around. First the employees there don't give a damn about the customer very rude, the chicken is always old our over cooked ,I feel I'd have better luck getting my order done right by a retarded monkey, every time I went to this location I have to check my order and they always forget something then you ask em for it and they hand me something totally different from what I said was missing . No one at the Barry at 169 is willing to wait on any one, the workers are out side talking to their friends in stead of at there jobs. Stood in line for ten minutes behind three others, waiting to order. I just gave up and left. When is kfc going to close this location and open one somewhere else? One star is too much. read more

Wow! Just got yelled at by the staff! What?! Apparently they were closing the lobby as they were understaffed. I asked if I could read the menu (since I was already inside and didn't want to tie up the drive thru) she yelled " there is no need to get hateful I'm allowed to close the lobby." Um ok. Apparently chicken is stressful biz. This store is always having some type of issue. I want to Cane's and everyone was so nice and the food was delicious! TY Cane's. Yesterday I visited the KFC at 755 on Barry Road. I had a coupon book that I purchased from my daughters school. It was valid until Dec 2017 and specifically had their address printed on the back. They would not honor this coupon. I asked if they would offer some typed of discount in it's place. Even only 10%. They refused. I left the store. Drove 17 miles to the KFC on Troost that was also listed on the coupon. They honored the coupon. I spent $38 after the $10 discount for the coupon. They lost a customer for life! Very poor business read more

Love the food there, the biscuits are a 10, the gravy is a bit skeptical but I just replace it with mac and cheese which is the best I've ever had. Not to mention, the chicken is sooo tender. They bread it perfectly, you can even get extra crispy! It's too good. You can get 2 drumsticks, a biscuit, mac and cheese, a cookie, and a drink for just $5 with the 5$ fill up. read more

I was in there 6/11/17 and the cashier was really snippy with not only the customers but the other employees as well. Extremely rude acting like I was bothering her. Other times I have been there it's been very slow but the employees aren't fast enough. However yesterday was really uncalled for. And I walked out saying the attitude was not appreciated. The biggest set of morons working here. Employees do not seem to even know whats going on. The wait times are ridiculous and their whole process to prepare the orders is a jumbled mess. It is either complete chaos or they are out of everything. Do not eat here unless you have 30-45 minutes to wait for food. Fast food.....I think not. worst kfc around here. here's some insider tea of barry kfc, they've gone through so many GMs that won't stay because management treats everyone like children even though they rarely even show their faces at the place. not to mention the minors they have as managers, cooks, working past 7, exceeding maximum minor labor hours, etc. we were forced to sell expired chicken a little bit ago, because management screwed up the truck order and ordered too much. but we couldn't part ways with 3 expired boxes of chicken for whatever reason. and i'll also mention the fact that they steal from staff, disability scooter, fan bc no a/c, and have literally been halving paychecks since late last year. don't know how i was forced to act as GM and and worked 70 hour weeks because i was the only trained manager, and yknow had at least 50 hours of overtime on the clock, yet somehow i got paid for like 15 hours and i never saw that money until i spammed management demanding the rest of my paycheck. i've been dealing with this place the past two years, and now management wants to twist my words around and use them against me like i apparently requested a leave of absence even though me and my friend who also worked there are getting evicted in the next couple months and kind of can't afford to not have a job right now. but KBP cares, right? just save yourself the time, money, and dignity and go to popeyes or chick fil a. read more

This is the worst KFC I have ever had the bad luck of visiting. The workers were terribly rude, worst of all the supposed manager, Hector. When we got home with our meal, each order was missing items. I promptly called to see if the situation could be rectified the person answering the phone was rude and argued with me that I was wrong on what the order should have contained. After several minutes, he finally said to come back and he would give us the items. I asked that they send us a coupon for the items since we had already returned home, he said they didn't do that. I asked how we should go about making the situation right and he said we could come in another time. When asked how any other employee would know he said they just would. I then asked for a manager and he told me to hold...I held for 12 minutes before he finally came back on the line. I asked again for the manager's name and he stated he was the manager. If he is he manager, shame on whoever put this person in charge. He said over and over that he was the only manager of that location. We then asked for the franchise owner and he at first refused to give us information. Finally, he rattled off a number that was not a manager (we tried the number) and told us to hold again and never picked up the line. The entire phone call lasted 23 minutes before we gave up which was probably his plan the entire time. Also, to add insult to injury while we were on wait we heard people talking about us an telling us to "F-off". I hope that someone actually reads this and takes action. read more

By far the worst KFC I have been to. Have given it a few tries . Everytime they have succeed in providing rude and slow customer service. The food quality has been poor. The grilled option is never available..not even during lunch or upon request. Half full to go sides to top off the list for this poorly managed store. read more

Horrible doesn't even touch this place. Ordered a 12 pc bucket with 4 breasts to go ... Got 3 legs 3 wings and 6 thighs.... At least I think that's what they were. Grayish greasy crap.... I do this to myself, I know better than going here but keep giving them another chance. This time we got home, the chicken was what we ordered but instead of mashed tatters with gravy and coleslaw we ended up with mac n cheese, gravy and coleslaw. My husband called to talk to the manager, the person who answered the phone said he was the manager. His name was Jose and when my husband started to tell him our problem.....he hung up on him. Tried calling back several times, but it went straight to voice mail. I've contacted corporate about this before. The chicken is either cold, dried out, we get the wrong pieces of chicken, they run out of extra crispy and substitute it with original without asking. This place is always horrible. Horrible does not even begin to describe this particular location. I love KFC and this is the only location I ever have a problem with. Every time I have gone to this location I do not think they have ever gotten my order right. This particular time I ordered the new Zinger in the $5 fill up meal. I ordered this sandwich with only lettuce on it, switched the wedges out for mashed potatoes and a rootbeer for the drink. Not only did they make the sandwich wrong with one little sad piece of lettuce on it and the mayo, which I did not ask for, they forgot my cookie, and the potatoes were cold. While this is just the one order this is not the first time and I would like to point out that I made a yelp just to call this particular KFC out for this because this is not the first time they have messed up and I cannot think of a time they have not messed up an order of mine and I hope they do not mess up other peoples orders like they do mine. read more
