I was honestly just trying to do the right thing and close out our bill. Then the bartender/manager asked me if I could point out who the original waitress was, but I didn't see her on the floor. That made me feel like I was being treated as the problem, when I was simply trying to pay. Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were enjoyable, but the payment process could be much smoother. A more flexible system would make it easier for guests to move around and enjoy the space without feeling awkward or accidentally causing confusion.
