Thought I ordered the original and got extra crispy, only got 1 biscuit should of been 2, got nine nuggets instead of 10. Replacement still seems like extra crispy. Pickup order was slow getting it. I went to here a long time ago once I ordered some fried chicken it took 30 minutes for them to make it.

I sent my husband to pick up our dinner: pot pie for me and a 3 piece original dinner for himself. When he returned home with our order: my pot pie was dark on top and totally dry inside (no liquid whatsoever so ever), his 3 piece original looked like over cooked dried out chicken. I asked for the receipt and he said he was not given one. I called and asked for the manager and the person that answered spoke up quickly and said "thats me", I asked her name and she said "Greta". I started to tell about my order and she interrupted me saying "he can come get a pot pie but our chicken is fine". I was trying to explain about the chicken again and she again interrupted. Maybe Greta was having a bad day and it effected my dinner and the food sold to us. Maybe someone from the corporate office need to check on Greta. read more

Seeing as how these guys have a 1.9 rating, it's highly unlikely that my review is going to make any real difference, but here goes: I pulled up in the drive thru around 5:25pm. Drove all this way specifically to try the 'new' classic chicken sandwich. I was the only car in line & the young lady who took my order sounded pleasant. Once I paid, I was asked to pull up to the curb while they made my order. I asked about how long the wait was (only asked because I needed to make it to the meat market before 6pm). As she was replying, "Not long . . ." she suddenly said, "Never mind. Here it is!" & handed me a sandwich barely stuffed in the bag. As in the brown paper KFC bag was still partially folded, but the sandwich itself is in one of those thick foil lined pouch / bags. I thanked her & drove off. When I made it to the traffic light, it became clear that I had been given a spicy chicken sandwich. Just pulling it out of the pouch my fingers were coated with spicy mayo. This would have been my first meal of the day, so I was hungry. & I couldn't turn around & go back & make it to the meat market before 6pm. I knew I did not want to drive back to Powder Springs after the meat market, so I tried a bite. Nope. Nope. Nope. So I drove to the meat market, then schlepped my way back to the KFC to exchange the sandwich. When I got back, I explained that they had given me the wrong sandwich. The friendly young lady - did not offer me an apology - instead she said "Oh." & then she asked me to pull off & park so they could bring my refund. I guess I must have looked at her oddly because she said "they couldn't refund me while there was an order on the screen" - whatever that meant. There was a car parked right in front of me - awaiting food & a car behind me. The cashier didn't want me to blow the horn, so I had to back up (with her help), then cut hard, praying not to hit either car. I pull around & park. I see not one, but two more cars get their orders while I'm waiting. Finally, I pull back around to the window. They give me CASH - instead of refunding my card. When I asked for the manager (so I could explain my disappointment with the level of customer service received), the young lady went to get him - but came back & said he wouldn't come out of the office. A handsome, but VERY baby-faced young man (looked to be around 16 years old) came to the window. He said he was the shift manager but between his mask & the way all the young folks mumble now - it was actually the cashier who had to explain to me what he was saying. SO - I proceeded to explain to BOTH of these young people why I was not happy - 1) I did not pay with cash & did not want cash back; 2) I felt like the LEAST one can do when you make an error is offer an apology on behalf of the business & 3) this was not my error - yet I'm being made to wait - after driving all the way back to the store while staff prioritizes new customer orders. While I was talking, another young man (didn't get his name, but looks a little like Chance the Rapper with a mustache - lol) comes over to the window. The 'shift manager' walks off while I'm speaking. The female cashier did say that she 'didn't realize I didn't want cash back', but went on to say that 'only the manager could refund it back.' The same manager who refused to come talk to me??? Next I hear someone either singing or imitating me - not sure which. The cashier apologized for not apologizing earlier & I drove off. Frankly - with all these poor reviews regarding customer service & subpar food - I really don't understand how they stay in business. I'm all for young people working & learning responsibility. Working in fast food requires a person with a lot of patience & pleasant & positive attitude. & every time I see an article where a customer shoots at a fast food worker - or assaults a fast food worker (physically or verbally) - my heart just drops. I feel like - Dang, these folks need 'danger pay!' Having said that - if you do not have the right temperament / attitude for this type of work, PLEASE get a job working somewhere that does not require interaction with the public. (I have worked as a server, a housekeeper & a cashier at a 'super store.' Hated every minute of it. But I always put on my 'actress hat' & acted as though I was having the best day ever. All while looking for a new job.) And to the person who owns this location - PLEASE consider hiring a few more adults - ones who will lead by example & not hide away in the office. The expression 'the lunatics are running the asylum' comes to mind. PS: I used to have a client in the area - would stop here every time I was in the vicinity. But the food was consistently old & dried out. So I stopped visiting, even when I was in the neighborhood. Today's visit was my first time at KFC in about 6 months. Nothing about my order was correct even though they charged me extra for it and made me wait a bit. I ordered a three piece white and they gave me a 5 piece dark. Too bad I couldn't take advantage of it because I don't like thighs and drums. Then I ordered cole slaw and fries and they gave me the one side that I can't stand...mashed potatoes. That was a lot of money flushed down the drain. I tried to call them but they wouldn't answer the phone. I have enjoyed this sandwich from several different franchises and I am always happy with the the consistency of the chicken product used in this sandwich. I decided to dine in. I'm just sitting here watching the steady stream of people coming back in because they forgot some of their order. I normally use the drive thru but they never give you a receipt & have excuses when you ask for one. Tonight I dined in & asked for my receipt & he had to turn the printer on. When he did this a huge stream of receipts came out. So that explains it, they don't turn on the printer. I felt the need to update my review since 8/16/2014 because I noticed some improvements during my last two visits. I decided to take a chance, and visit this location at about 9:30pm. To my surprise, they had everything I wanted to order. I ordered 2 of the $5 Fill ups. One was the 2pc meal in which I substituted the thigh for a breast with a 90 cent upcharge. The other was the popcorn chicken fill up. The food was hot, and although my chicken was a little greasy, it was good. They filled the box for the popcorn chicken to the top, and my son was extremely satisfied. Hopefully, this location will continue to improve, and remain consistent. read more

I stopped by this location on the way to an appointment. They were fast and got me out of there in no time. Now let's talk about the food. I know fast food isn't the best thing ever, but it doesn't have to be the worst either. I got the chicken little fill up box with macaroni and cheese. The chicken Littles were made very sloppily, with mayonnaise oozing everywhere. The macaroni and cheese was so bland I checked twice to make sure I wasn't just eating noodles. My mother and I waited for over 40 minutes for food at this location. To begin, we ordered through the drive-thru. The lady who took our order couldn't understand us, nor did she know the KFC menu. We were then told there would be a fifteen minute wait on fresh chicken and to pull forward, which we did. We waited more than 40 minutes without any acknowledgement about our order. We were ignored. Several customers behind us received their orders and were able to leave. After waiting, my elderly mother went in, masked, and risking her health for dumb chicken. All because the immature staff and management at this location know nothing of customer service. All employees were rude or just ignored us completely. Corporate has been notified. The WORST customer service I've ever experienced (KFC at 4022 Powder Springs Rd SW, Powder Springs, GA 30127). The guy at the drive thru Tim (unless he left about his name), had the nastiest attitude, extremely dismissive since I got to the window (it was today 9/14 close to 8pm so look at the cameras if necessary). When I got to the window he re-asks me what I ordered. Then after charging me, he asks me if I had the "food bowl", I said no and then he closes the window and walks away. Once I received my food, I ask for my receipt.... Tim then again makes an annoyed gesture and walks to the front to get the receipt. After giving me the receipt (16 pcs meal w/ the 4 sides $31.99), I see an additional charge of $5.99 for a food bowl. When I am him about this charge, he then takes the receipt please it aside and doesn't return it to me and says "that's not your receipt. The receipt machine is not working at this time". I explained I needed a receipt to see the total and what I was charged for. Also, that the receipt managed to print just fine when he obtained it and how is it "not working" all of a sudden. He kept saying "your charge will be for $31.99". So when I continued to question this, Tim had the audacity to reply with "you're holding up the line" which in turn made me furious. I the asked for the person in charge and Tim stated the manager "left to lunch and will be back in half an hour". So then I asked for the name of the manager, in which he informed it's Mrs. G and Greta (don't know if I'm spelling it right or if he's lied). So whoever IS in fact in charge of this location needs to contact me immediately for a refund!! read more

I went to KFC in Powder Springs this evening. I ordered 3 mashed potato bowls, two spicy and one regular. I also ordered 4 biscuits. Once I paid they asked to pull over in a parking space which was fine. I completely understand with the Covid everything is crazy. After waiting 25 min I went on my way. Here's where I have a problem once I got home and was ready to devour my food the popcorn chicken was inedible they were so hard you couldn't even chew it, the corn was burnt. This was on all the bowls and the spicy bowls had a ton of hot sauce just poured in them to the point it literally leaked through the bag. The biscuits weren't even cooked. They were still doughy. This is completely unacceptable. Especially waiting for 25 min. everything could and should have been made fresh in that amount time. I will not be returning to this particular KFC. read more

On this particular visit we ordered 3 popcorn chicken to-go- cups, there was very little chicken and 3 or 4 fries in each container, if we hadn't drove to our destination to eat I would have taken it back in for a refund. I chose this location because it is one minute from my house. This also makes it easy to go right back when the order is messed up. It's not the big things it's little like giving napkins giving the correct soda or the correct side item. My wife and I went to the KFC in Powder Springs, GA for some lunch today on Mother's Day. It took a long time to get through the line that was short for when we were there. But that is not the real issue. We ordered 3 piece meal (original receipt) with green beans and coleslaw. When we got home and I open up the box the coleslaw was not in the box and the chicken legs were extra crispy and looked as if they came from a half grown chicken. There was very little meat on the three pieces of chicken and they were cooked so hard I could barely get three bites off them. I tried to call the store 5 times and each time it rang and rang and no one would answer. After the phone rang and rang I got the fax sound and I had to hang up each time. They never answered the phone. I have had issues with this KFC before but usually just sort of ignored the issue and kept going there. But this time I could not ignore the poor quality and poor service at this restaurant. Another issue I wish to express while I am writing this is that they do not give a receipt for your order. At other KFC's they always ask me if I want a receipt giving me the option to say yes or know. I am a senior citizen and I have been a customer of KFC for many years and this particular KFC restaurant is the most disappointing I have ever encountered. We will not go back to the restaurant again. KFC corporate needs to step up to the plate and do something about this restaurant, it is ruining KFC reputation. Manager refused to serve me. I ordered a Family Feast at 9:35 pm. She said they stopped cooking chicken at 8 pm. I cold only get original and a few pieces of crispy. I only wanted crispy. I definitely didn't want 1.5 hour old chicken. I said how long does it take to cook. She said 20 minutes. Okay Ill wait. No she said they turned the fryer off at 8 pm. Wow so this place stays open everyday till 10 pm but only cooks chicken till 8 pm. I said so you refuse to take my order. Yes she said. So I said Ill call corporate. She said that doesn't matter their a franchise. Nope not true I found out when I called KFC 800 number in the parking lot. The nice man at KFC 800 number told me each franchise has to follow KFC policy. He said would I like a manager to call me. No that would not work. First time I had been in a while and I looked on line to see the sides were and when I got there I ordered 2 pc. dark meat crispy (it was crispy, very greasy and still pink when I bit into it. They didn't have corn on the cob so I ordered slaw and baked beans. The beans had two huge chunks of chicken in it and it look disgusting. Your on-line menu shows corn on the cob. The biscuit was squashed in the box and mashed flat. The meal was $6.35 cents and when I asked the young lady at the window if it was cheaper to get one of the meals, she raised her eyebrow and threw up one shoulder and said "NO"! I am a senior citizen who was simply asking a question and if I had know how bad the food has gotten I wouldn't have gone there in the first place.
