Seriously 6 chicken tenders for over $16?
    Kimberley R.

I have come here many times and it has been closed during regular business hours. It has been open more lately, but with this last visit I was seriously overcharged for a few chicken tenders. I ordered six and was charged over $16. Not likely to come back. And no, they weren't that great.

The new look of the store

Loving the new look of this store! Giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because: (1) they made a slight mistake in the order (went there around 11:50 am)...gave me mashed potato instead of coleslaw even after I reminded them. (2) this location no longer has the "grilled" chicken option, only the "original" one :( Other than that, nice clean place to have some delicious chickens w/ friendly service :)

Double Down. And then think about your life choices.

Sometimes you regret asking a teenage kid where he wants to eat. But when you commit to take him wherever he asks, you find yourself at KFC. And that's fine. Fried-chicken wise, it's not the worst place in the universe. And price-wise, you can't beat two pieces of chicken and a side for $3, you know? Sadly, this location is outdated and poorly run. Food came out quick, so that's a bonus. And the girl behind the counter was nice. But the two kids running the place were just sorta there. Most of the tables were dirty. I felt bad and cleared one off and took care of the tray. Sure, that's a customer's job. But the whole time I was there, with only one other customer, the two kids running the place didn't engage us, clean tables, or really do anything but stand there and wait for customers. I don't expect much from my KFC experience, but even this was a little bit of a let down. My last KFC experience was a glorious family vacation story wherein I got a bucket and a bunch of sides and we inhaled it at the hotel room, and this was a far cry. I did, however, get to make one single order for myself, so of course I went down and dirty with the Double Down. I'm not proud of this. But if you're going to do KFC once every few years, then dangit, do it right. My excruciatingly hot "sandwich" with two chicken breasts for buns was served up fresh (it's not on the menu, but they'll stick make it for you) and I'm quite sure that with that one sandwich, I'm satiated with sodium through the end of 2015. But if you don't live a little and eat courageously once in a while, what's life really all about?

Went to this KFC (drive thru) today and ordered the 10 piece Hot wings, mashed potatoes and Gravy. When I came home and opened the bag, I had a mess. I received normal wings, nothing spicy or hot about them. My gravy was all over the place and needless to say I not a happy camper. You pay all this money and you expect to get what you ordered. It's disappointing when you arrive home and you have nothing, but a mess, your order wrong and the managers don't care.

I wish they had Powerade or fruit punch. Decent chicken tenders, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy. Fast drive-thru with good prices.

We were out near this Midvale location the other day. It's just south off the 215 freeway on Union Park Ave. It's in the big Walmart shopping center. WE pull in and there easy parking. The line isn't too long as we go inside. Inside is way cooler temp wise than eating in the Suburban. Plus you get all the drink refills you want. This visit I got it in my mind to try something different other than my normal Double Double. I ordered a "3X3" animal style extra grilled onions and put the lettuce and tomato on the side. I never had a 3x3 before and wanted to see it it was that much better than a regular Double Double. It was only like $1.70 I think more. One other guy on my crew did the same. I asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side, cause I thought the additional height of this 3x3 might be too much for my mouth to open. Our orders come out and wow, that 3x3 sure has a lot of melted cheese all flowing out of it! I hate when the cheese isn't melted! OK, Here goes my 3x3, I open wide and ease that meaty goodness into my mouth. Biting down, it is a different experience than a regular Double Double. More meat centric with out the lettuce and tomato. The buns were toasted well and there was a crunch from that. I did like the 3x3, but I think the Double Double is a more balanced burger experience. That familiar taste of the Double Double wasn't there, more just meat and cheese, but yeah lots of meat. I'm glad I thought to give this 3X3 a try animal style, but I think next time I'll stick to the Double Double animal style with my extra grilled onions. This bug meat burger was enough for lunch so I skipped the fries. A 4 X 4 is the biggest option In N Out will make, but that way too much meat to fit in my mouth!

I love getting the tempura green beans, they're the perfect kind of crispy and I can pretend I got a healthier side. The BBQ Bacon Char is my favorite burger and super filling, but I love all their burgers. Still working through the menu but I'm sure I'd love the rest of it too. Their burgers are consistently cooked to just the right tenderness and seasoned well. The cucumber limeade was a first on this visit and quite a bit too sweet for me so I cut it with water.

I would say, not all items are 5 stars, but they are not 2 stars either, very consistently a 3 or 4. I personally love the chicken club, sirloin steak sandwich is such a good deal, and you will have pretty decent charred burgers. I've had nicer char at other Habit locations, but it's not a breaking deal.

I was in the Salt Lake City area visiting four colleagues, and they highly recommended the restaurant, so I was looking forward to trying it. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich ($19.99) and added a Caesar salad ($4.99), with beans and coleslaw as my sides. Unfortunately, my meal was pretty underwhelming. The pulled pork wasn't very flavorful and didn't taste particularly fresh. The coleslaw was vinegar-based, which I personally didn't care for at all, and the beans were just mediocre. Overall, I was disappointed with my meal. That said, two of my colleagues ordered the prime rib sandwich ($23.49), which is similar to a French dip, and they both raved about it. They said it was excellent. Another person in our group had the tri-tip sandwich ($20.49), and the chicken plate was $21.99. Our total for five people came to $128.43 including tax, before tip. The service was average--nothing particularly bad, but nothing that stood out either. On the positive side, I really liked the interior and ambiance of the restaurant. It was attractive, comfortable, and very clean. I'm giving Bandits three stars based on my personal experience this time around, but I'm definitely willing to give it another chance. Based on how much my colleagues enjoyed the prime rib sandwich, I'll probably order that on my next visit and see if it's as good as they described. Sometimes the first thing you order just isn't the restaurant's best dish, so I'm not writing this place off yet.
