I did not intend to come but but I saw it and wondered if the quality of the product is better in nicer neighborhoods...here are the results of my unscientific analysis of the three piece meal, dark meat and two sides with a biscuit... I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man. He even brought my food to me. Excellent customer service experience... as others came and went, he exhibited the same level of kindness to everyone. As I was finishing up my review a young lady, who appeared to be checking on the cleanliness, said hello and went about her work First bite... mashed potatoes with gravy... it was hot, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Next bite was the coleslaw... fresh, chilled, crunchy and delicious... two for two... next was the drumstick... extra crispy selected... it was juicy, hot, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. This is the cleanest, nicest, most well-run KFC I have ever seen. Ate lunch there yesterday and it was great. Looks like it has been recently remodeled. Very clean and updated inside, with signs about KFC's history, Colonel Sanders, etc. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Ordering a combo at the drive thru, the kid working the window seemingly on purpose have me the wrong drink. After telling them twice not the Pepsi zero! I came especially for the promotional Mt. Dew, they still slipped the Pepsi zero in as the drink. It was said I wanted the other drink, and specifically not Pepsi zero. As for paying for this I'm real upset that I have to be played games with,when I expect to get what I want in exchange of my money. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because: (1) they made a slight mistake in the order (went there around 11:50 am)...gave me mashed potato instead of coleslaw even after I reminded them. Sometimes you regret asking a teenage kid where he wants to eat. But when you commit to take him wherever he asks, you find yourself at KFC. And that's fine. Fried-chicken wise, it's not the worst place in the universe. And price-wise, you can't beat two pieces of chicken and a side for $3, you know? Sadly, this location is outdated and poorly run. Food came out quick, so that's a bonus. And the girl behind the counter was nice. But the two kids running the place were just sorta there. Most of the tables were dirty. I felt bad and cleared one off and took care of the tray. Sure, that's a customer's job. But the whole time I was there, with only one other customer, the two kids running the place didn't engage us, clean tables, or really do anything but stand there and wait for customers. I don't expect much from my KFC experience, but even this was a little bit of a let down. My last KFC experience was a glorious family vacation story wherein I got a bucket and a bunch of sides and we inhaled it at the hotel room, and this was a far cry. I did, however, get to make one single order for myself, so of course I went down and dirty with the Double Down. I'm not proud of this. But if you're going to do KFC once every few years, then dangit, do it right. My excruciatingly hot "sandwich" with two chicken breasts for buns was served up fresh (it's not on the menu, but they'll stick make it for you) and I'm quite sure that with that one sandwich, I'm satiated with sodium through the end of 2015. Tried prdering online and was told to come takeout the order at 11:20. When I got there it wasn't open. Called no answer. Got an errand done and returned and called again. They answered and said my food would be right out. Finally at noon, the poor guy said that my food was ready but since there's no manager to open the system my order was canceled and they can't approve without the manager. I'll admit it's hit and miss sometimes but this last time we went, it was great. After not loving our last couple trips to Popeyes, we decided to grab some KFC. Went thru the drive thru and our order was ready as soon as we pulled up to the window. I did think it was a bit pricey but I guess that's how it is now. The biscuits were soft. Went to this KFC (drive thru) today and ordered the 10 piece Hot wings, mashed potatoes and Gravy. When I came home and opened the bag, I had a mess. I received normal wings, nothing spicy or hot about them. My gravy was all over the place and needless to say I not a happy camper. You pay all this money and you expect to get what you ordered. Just went thru the driveup, I always try to be very friendly especially during the current issues. I asked for two sauces for the tenders, got zero. Ask for Ice Tea (usually comes with ice) Not one piece of ice, paid for extra cole slaws (2) got none, couldn't get the two kids in there to answer the phone when I got home regarding all the missing items. It's smelled like dishwater in there. There was a wait even though we were the only ones there. I had to sweep crumbs off of the table. Decor is out of date. Got to the picnic area and zero napkins, no butter, honey, etc. Called and spoke to the manager and was told I had to ask for condiments and/or napkins. Say WHAT?! Have been there 3 times and have never been able to order. The drive up must have a recorded message to place your order. It asks for your order but there is no live person. Each time there have been cars who thought they had ordered but never got their items. The first time I went there was someone inside and they were hiding in the back so they wouldn't have to help. Look at this locations reviews! average is 1 1/2 stars! that should give a definite indication of this place. If I could give a negative if I could it's that bad! We ordered a family bucket and every piece was so burned that the bones were visible in the middle of each piece. I rolled up to the drive up order menu at 445pm after having a bad experience at the Sugarhouse KFC the night before. I thought that I would try one more time. I sat there for several minutes surveying the menu. No one asked me if I wanted to order. After deciding, I called out into the mic at the speaker, "Hello, hello..." No one answered. I started wondering if they were being held up perhaps; being locked in the freezer passed my mind. I pulled up to the pickup window and there wasn't anyone visible. This seems like one of the better KFC locations. The store is generally clean, service is about what you would expect and the food quality is good. I do drive out of my way to go to this location and avoid the store in Sandy. If you want hot wings though you need to plan on 10 minutes for them to cook.
