First of all, super disappointed in the food. It was flat out not good. And we had to wait AN HOUR for the most subpar food. The restaurant was incredibly dirty. The trash cans were so full no one could throw their trash away, counters were gross and sticky. There was no room for people to sit. Everyone waited so long to get their orders. We love Dave's Hot Chicken and honestly only tried Crazy D's because of good reviews on social media. It was totally empty at 7 pm when we walked in which had us worried, but we thought the food was really good! Can't really compare it with Dave's Hot Chicken because they're different, so I like both. The guy working the register wasn't super friendly but someone who seemed like a manager or owner was in the back and was very friendly and got us some honey when we asked for it. read more

I wanted to try somewhere new so I stopped by and the food was incredible. I got the crazy Mac with a drink for about $18 and the staff were extremely friendly. I was greeted, checked on during my meal, and it was a good vibe. It was also super clean. The only thing I don't like is buying a fountain drink and not having access to refill it myself. Food is good. Their sauce was great. Chicken was cooked well, was not at all dry and full of flavor. I do wish they had fountain soda as $2.25 for a canned soda is pretty steep. Service was good from two of the three working. The person taking our order was not very nice and when he brought our food, he threw it on the table. I bit my tongue and didn't say anything as I highly suspect it is his first job...but WOW! While the other two were so accommodating and fixed our order right away, the other kiddo left a bad impression on me. I hesitated to write this review and gave it a decent amount of thought before doing so. He probably needs some guidance if he is going to work customer service. The restaurant is a typical strip mall shop. It was clean. Nothing else to really say about that. There are a lot of good chicken places out there and I think this place definitely competes well but if the service isn't there, people will go elsewhere. read more

I've got to give it to them. We've been curious about this place and finally tried their chicken, onion rings and fries. Came here after getting off a late shift at work, thank God because they close at 2am. I was REALLY hungry and I have a big appetite so I was skeptical about the portions. I ordered the CrazyMac and the raspberry crazy soda. The portion exceeded my expectations. Wish there was a proportional amount of chicken in there because there was a very healthy amount of Mac n cheese. Still very good. Left the establishment belly full and wallet intact. I was not a huge fan. I understand that Hot Chicken should be hot, but the spice level, which I choose a lower number of, was really unenjoyable. The signature sauce did not seam to go all that great with the spice of the chicken and perhaps that would have been more enjoyable. I will give them an "A" for effort but it was not really a 5 star experience. I would say more of a 4 only because they were short staffed and behind. The food was hot and fresh and very tasty. I had combo #3 mild, next time I would get medium or higher for more flavor. The slider had really good coleslaw and pickles which made it super delicious. The fries were hot and crisp. The dipping sauce had kind of a dill flavor and I thought it was really unique from other fry sauces around here. We just wanted water with our meals and they gave us a carafe filled with icy water and lemon! Bonus points! My husband loved his OG smashburger. There were a tables and only two had been wiped down, the others were dirty. The proprietor after cooking our food came out and cleaned a couple tables. Midway through the meal, an extra employee came so I thought that might be better. They were a pretty bare bones set up. If they had some rugs on the wall or textiles somewhere it would help the place not be so loud and echo like. Generally this place has been good but there really is no excuse for the service that was given. Should have offered to make the food on the house for wasting my time. Awesome place, owner and staff were super friendly. I got the crazy sandwich, hot tender, smash burger, and onion rings. All were delicious. I love spicy food and I thought the crazy hot was perfect for my liking. Pretty similar to the damn hot from hatty b's spice wise. The tenders are massive and super juicy.
