Instead of having a meeting and informing staff members, he decided to make a Facebook post telling everyone he'd be mailing their checks. Then a post was immediately made to the public and then turned off comments on their post and deleted all negative ones that made them look bad. Since it's strictly a financial decision that affected many people's livelihood, I'm asking that you reconsider giving this average tasting and over priced pizza restaurant your money. He struggled since Covid and couldn't financially recover so instead of communicating that with anyone in the Mendota location he closed without notice. In this economy he left countless families unable to know where their source of income was going to come from to be able to pay their bills. UNPROFESSIONAL. We did order pickup since we lived ~15 mins away in the backroads. The location was easy to find, and parking should be easy since it is in a big lot. Depending on the time, it could be hard to find but in Plano...I doubt that. The service was great. There was a lot of friendly people I encountered. When I got home, the smell was amazing. The cheesy bread was very cheesy. It contained, probably, at least a 1lb of cheese. The side was sauce was delicious and I liked how it was a thick pizza sauce and not runny. Maybe it was due to the 15 min drive, but I thought these pizzas were tavern style... thin and crispy. While the pizza was delicious, it was thin but it was not crispy. It was just a basic thin pizza. However, it had a lot of toppings on it! My wife got the double dough, and for a 12" pizza...it was too much dough for her. She said she will like to try the normal next time. Overall, the pizza was great. The quality was top notch. Flavors were there for a great pizza. I live in an area that my options for pizza is Papa Johns, Domino's, or Pizza Hut... if I had to compared to those local ones... Uncle Lars is 20 out 10, if not more. However, for a pizza itself... it was still delicious and I would get them again. Placed an order for delivery last night, waited way longer than any pizza should take, and called only to have them tell us it was delivered. We didn't know where it was delivered but it wasn't our house. We told Casey's no it wasn't whereupon they said then it's a Doordash problem call them. Ok when we called CASEY'S and asked for delivery and paid CASEY'S for the pizza AND delivery, there was no mention of Doordash. We assumed as with Rosati's Casey's has their own delivery drivers, but even so since we are in no way involved in who does the delivery it is still a CASEY'S problem. I posted on our community FB page to ask if anyone rec'd a pizza they didn't order and about 30 minutes later our neighbors who only noticed because they were just arriving home found our pizza in the box laying on their porch and delivered it to us. I should also mention due to appointments we had during the day neither of us had eaten anything, making it even worse that the pizza was lost. So just a warning CASEY'S takes no responsibility for their contracted delivery people from door dash.

I will never be going to this Caseys again and I would not recommend it to anybody. At least not when this woman is working... Some people should not work in customer service!!
