The staff is super friendly they where getting a $300 order when I ordered my food they handled it professionally, I had to wait over 25 minutes for my food but they cooked it fresh and gave me a mini chocolate cake for my wait. So the service definitely on point the restaurant isn't to bad looking the restroom could be cleaner but the seating area was clean. My brother and I stopped in KFC the other day. As we were looking at the menu board the customer ahead of us in line gave us his unused coupon page. It knocked several dollars off our order we had 12 pieces of mixed chicken mashed potatoes gravy macaroni and cheese corn and biscuits. If you've seen my reviews of other KFCs you'll know I'm not happy with the site of the chicken. This wasn't entirely true at the Main St location. The breast and thighs were of adequate size and cooked just right tender moist and juicy as it should be. The legs and wings on the other hand may have been cooked just right a day or two before but lost thier appeal while sitting under the heat lamp. They were tough dry and nearly impossible to eat. No complaints on the sides. We were given more than enough honey and butter.our server was nice. I'm not sure what was up with the buffet there was no food in it. Over all not too terrible of a dining experience. I might add that I don't like dining out anymore as much as I did in the past. With increasing gas cost, minimum wage and the supply chain issues due in part to the scamdemic and bidenomics prices have sky rocketed. Wouldn't be so bad if my salary would keep up. read more

On January 31,2024 I went thru the KFC on 2407 E Main Street in Springfield, Ohio 45503. My order of chicken strips along with other items I ordered were going to have a 5 minute wait time so, I pulled into the area as directed to wait for my order. After 25 minutes I call into the restaurant to ask about the status of my order and the manager giggling like it was funny asked " which order was mine, and as I named the items she tells me that " she will have it ready in minutes?" I waited out as I was a 30 minute drive from home and still had a family to provide a dinner for. When the person that took my order appeared at my car window his explanation was that "the order got handed to someone and they just didn't do anything? " Once home a (30 minute drive) I find the order is not as I ordered it and lacked even the basic care. The mashed potato bowl did not even reach the half of the bowl with 4 very salty small pieces of chicken, and I had requested extra of the ingredients. The chicken in the chicken strips meals maybe measured 2 1/2" in length. I ordered two chicken littles less the pickles but, I got pickles. My bill was $35, and some change I rounded up on my bill spending $36.00 to help a needy organization? I called the store spoke again with the manager (would not give me her name) and I explained my dissatisfaction with the food and the service explained that they spent roughly 30+ to mess up my order. Why should or would anyone have to go through this? She offered to remake the order, and I explained that I am at least a 30 minute drive, and I could not afford to use fuel so that they could correct their mistake. ;I felt with the 2nd issue it merited reimbursement. Even if I could afford the gas and had the time why would or should I? I waited and waited for that order because, no one working there found it important enough to do their job or to do their work correctly. I've called the corporate office for KFC 3 times, and each time I've connected to call center in another country. Each have secured me that management would be in touch. I just want my money back because, those working have lied, cheated and disrespected as a consumer with human decency! Don't eat there because, God only knows how they're handling the food!. I can honestly say that "this was/is the worst dining experience of my life. The corporate office does not care how that location is doing their business. Now, I understand why this place is hardly ever busy during lunch and especially on the day I visited around 12:15. I pulled in and I could see all other restaurants around were packed but KFC had no wait at the drive thru. After this visit I clearly can see a correlation between them offering below average cold, stale food! I ordered a simple 5 strip meal that included a side, drink and biscuit. The size of the chicken strips were laughable and for a second I thought I might be getting punked! The largest of the 5 strips was about the size of my index finger but the rest were closer to the size of my pinky. I have average size male hands. They contained about 75% breading and 25% what I believe is chicken. The mash and biscuit were better and what I remembered them being from when I use to enjoy KFC on a more regular basis. The employees were nice and besides giving me what seemed like mostly over breaded anemic chicken, they offered good customer service. They made sure that I had my complete order with all the extras I needed. This was the first time I had been back to KFC in a while and I think I am now remembering why I stopped visiting in the first place. read more

It's been a while and I Wanted to take my spouse to the kfc buffet in my hometown while we were visiting. We were a little disappointed when we walked in and the buffet wasn't there. When we went to grab a table, the table by the door had bugs on the window seal. The next table we moved to was dirty. Good thing I had Clorox wipes in my purse. My Husband went to the restroom and came out telling me he didn't feel comfortable in the restroom. It was filthy. I went into the women's restroom to change my toddlers diaper. There was dead bug on the changing table And on the floor when you walk in. We should have just gotten a refund and left the place. Luckily for us our food was decent. I went to the store on Friday February the 3rd at about 340 pm . I walk in and see that I am the only customer in the store. Someone from the back said they would get me in a minute . After about 15 minutes so comes to take me to go order. I ordered the 8 pice meal in original . He tells me that they don't have any legs and it's a 39 minute wait time . I say no problem take thighs instead he says ok . I asked for double mashed potatoes he says they are out it will be 30 minutes . Again I say no problem I take wedges instead. He comes back and said sorry we are out it will be 30 minutes. Do I say ok just give me the chicken. He goes to get it comes back and says they are out of the chicken thighs and it's going to be 30 minutes. I said goodbye. I don't know what has changed since I worked at a KFC over 38 years ago . But back in my day when ever a customer would walk in and placed a order it was there very very seldom was we out of anything. This store has went way down In service and quality of food since coming back from cOVID-19. This is not the 1st time I have experienced this problem here . But it will be my last. Waited 20 min in drive thru then when I got to the window they said they were out of extra crispy.I asked if I could just substitute the 3 pieces of white meat extra crispy for 3 strips and they said no...no substitutions.They screw up and then won't even bother to try to fix their screw up.Enough for me....I'm done.Even McDonalds tries to fix stuff they screw up and it was 3 chicken strips vs 3 pieces of white meat,a breast,thigh and wing.They pretty much suck....won't be going back to the E. Live KFC so much better and worth the price, Lees is ok but KFG is the bomb, sometimes you have to see who is making your foods if they are under the age of 25 the gravy sometimes is messed up, but I always ask when the food was prepared I want mine made to order fresh so far so good. read more

I have ordered take out twice from this location and both times orders were incorrect. By the time I get home ( other side of Springfield) I don't want to go back to correct the order. When I called to complain that I only received 6 pieces of chicken when I ordered 10. The manager told me the only way is for me to bring the food back. Manager should have offered another solution.
