It was getting dark and started to rain and it's about 12 miles each way. I did call and was told the manager was busy and didn't have time to talk. On the other hand Lees cooking technique of their livers and gizzards are UNMATCHED because they pressure cook them which makes them buttery, tender, and melt in your mouth. Decades ago Springfield and Dayton area KFC's used to do them that way but removed them from all their locations and menus. Outside of this everything else there was PERFECT. Chicken and biscuits were piping hot and fresh. Potato Wedges are breaded, seasoned, and fried to perfection. Courteous staff and speedy service. If ya know ya know that LEES IS THE PLACE for that home style taste and flavors that don't seem mass produced out a factory or from Gordon Food Services like OTHER major chains.
