After waiting 15 minutes ,addressing the speaker several times with no response We pulled around to the unoccupied drive thru window to be told to drive back around and get in line with the other 2 vehicles who were waiting and having the window slammed in our face at the Troy, Alabama KFC . We went to ChicFilet. At ChicFilet ,in line with 20 cars, we got excellent service in a matter of minutes and got a delicious meal One wonders why ChicFilet had 20 customers and KFC had 2. We can understand possibly being understaffed due to illness or other reasons and possibly having poor management skills but rude behavior has no justification. read more

We stopped here on our way back to Indiana, and I did not regret my decision one bit. The food was out fast, it was hot, and it tasted GOOD. The lady at the counter was very sweet and hospitable. I often go to the buffet with my elderly mother. For $8 you leave full with a couple dollars of change from a $10. Service can be sometimes tricky. Many workers could care less about doing their job at times. There is (was) a tall chunky white girl that worked there (often in drive thru) she was (is) the best worker there. Better than the managers who typically are not to be seen. One reason I like this place, other than the fried chicken etc buffet, is it is the cultural melting pot of Troy. There are white people, black people, and asian that are usually here. A year ago I saw a very thuggish kid hug a old white woman and call her grandma. Worst service in the world. Had placed an order online, when I got there to pick it up there is no one at the counter. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to and ask me can I help you. Told him I was there to pick up my order, he looked at me like I was crazy. He did not even know that you could place and order online. It took another 30 minutes just to get the order. Went there on my birthday for the buffet. Filled plate went back for hot sauce, and waited for 3 minutes before asking. There was one customer being waited on and had stepped away from the counter. The man in a very nasty tone of voice that he was still waiting on the last customer! Finally got hot sauce, only to get back to my table to cold food! While eating, a young man came out to clean dining area with his pants hanging below his butt! I don't know about most people, but this doesn't sit well with me! It wouldn't be so bad except two days earlier I was in there with same person saggy pants! Called manager on duty, she said she will take care of it, NOT! Very rude manager. My husband needs a service dog. We went there to eat and the manager told us we had to leave. I politely told her that our dog was a service dog...she was wearing her service dog vest and tag. I also told this lady that I had the dog's paperwork in the car If she wished to see it. She said again....that dog can't be in here...you have to leave. I said okay but that this is against the law and I would be reporting it. She just looked at me. The dog was not bothering anyone. First time ever that this has happened to us. We went there on Saturday June 17th at 1:30 p.m. Someone should care within the KFC organization and speak to this manager. read more

I would have given it 5 star but due to the fact that they no longer have baked beans and my favorite lemon/strawberry parfaits which they replaced with the mini bundt cakes that I never tried nor plan on trying and they lack some of the stuff that's been advertised on television. Overall the food is good and hot, love the chicken and biscuit but they need to bring back the stuff they use to have and stop replacing it with other stuff. Bring back the lemon parfaits and the baked beans and I will give it the 5 star rate. read more
