As a former employee, I will say that management treats their employees TERRIBLY. I worked here for a little less than a year and we went through about 4 General Managers. Other former employees' hours as well as mine were cut wrongfully, as we were being told that hours were not guaranteed, and time off was not guaranteed (breaks also not being guaranteed!!!) My hours were cut after a whole new crew came in, although I was the only one working, the rest on their phones. The management and work environment is so bad that the average employee works there for around 2 weeks to 2 months. I would also like to take this opportunity and call out the current regional general manager who has done everything wrong in regards to leadership and inconsistent respect for others. She is very disrespectful towards her employees, she has no idea how to even work the ordering screen, yet acts like she knows everything. I would also like to mention the colony of cockroaches that management knows about but are too cheap to take care of. I have always enjoyed KFC chicken, their gravy, and their sides. However, my experience with the service at this particular branch was not satisfactory. We were charged for two extra-large gravies with our Family Value Meal, but only received one. Additionally, the biscuits, which were supposed to be included with the meal, were missing. This has got to be in top 5 worst franchises in the state. Wait times to order at counter are over 10 minutes. The staff actually looks at you, then ignores you. The manager yells across the restaurant that he'll be there in a minute, but never shows up. The food is correct to their menu and at temperature from what I remember from months ago visit. I tried a 2nd time to order inside after the last time, and their lobby was closed. Doors locked with a paper note taped on door. Went to the drive thru then. And was told it'd be a 10 minute wait for good items to cook!! In the driver thru???!!! This IS the worst KFC franchise in the state. We have had some of the weirdest and worst customer service experiences here, but, it is one of the only quick fried chicken places near where we live. The service is usually very slow, whether you go inside or through the drive-thru. The food is generally pretty decent quality, but there is a high probability that you will end up with the wrong order, so make sure you check it before you actually leave the premises. Problem 5: We waited 30+ minutes for this sorry ass meal. This was after ordering online and driving there. We live 15-20 minutes away after working all day with 3 kids screaming in the car. Problem 6: Okay, this one is on us. This is NOT the first time we've had problems with this location struggling with the intricacies of putting the correct food into a bag. They have forgotten many an item, poorly cooked it, and taken far too long in the past. This is why we hadn't been there in close to a year. Sadly, we decided to try again. After going to the KFC on Oracle and Magee and trying to order a 12 piece 3 side family meal and being told that they only had wings and thighs for the same price I went to the KFC on Cortaro Road. My wife and I went to the drive in window and made the same order. We were told they had no fries and after paying the $42.15 we were told to pull up front since it was going to be about 10 minutes so I told the lady we would go over to Burger King and get the fries and she said no problem. It took about 8 minutes and we pulled up front where we waited for another 15 to 20 minutes I finally went in and asked how much longer and the lady behind the counter told me 2 more minutes so I sat down and waited another 10 minutes. When I went to the counter there was no one around and everyone except some little guy who was halfway back of the store were all in the back room. So I yelled to the little guy and asked where my order was (it had already been over half an hour) and he came running up and asked what I wanted and I told him "I wanted my order " and he told me that I would have to not yell or he would come back from behind the counter, which he did but ran back pretty quickly. Not once did anyone even try to fill my order and after a lot of arguing I finally got my money back but as I was leaving the woman who originally took my order came out of the back room to flip me off. And I should mention that I'm 75 years old and this was all happening during a thunderstorm. And what was intended to ease my wife's anxiety over some medical news turned into just the opposite. And I even told the kid that I was in a hurry because my dog was diabetic and blind and I had to get home so I could give him his insulin in time. read more

The speaker box was broken so I waited 10 minutes to find out at the window that they were out of both original and extra crispy and it would be a 30 minute wait for a fresh batch. What kind of KFC is out of chicken??? The cashier at the window said that they dont make any more chicken after 8pm to decrease waste, I understand that, but you are open until 10pm! That's 2 hours without making any chicken?! How does that make any sense? I even tried to call and place an order on the phone, but they were cleaning out the fryer st 8:30pm and couldnt drop any more chicken. This is completely unacceptable. This is by far the most worthless Kentucky Fried Chicken that I've ever been to. Correct that, the most worthless "fast food" restaurant I've been to. If I'm going to stoop to the level of eating any of this garbage, please at least make the food available that I'm going to regret eating later. We usually have a bad experience but once in a while we crave the food we (are supposed to) get and break down. Today at 5:30pm they were out of white meat chicken and had no extra crispy. Ordered through Uber Eats... Delivery driver was fast and communicated excellently. However, I ordered all dark meat and the driver called me and informed me that they didn't have enough white meat to fill my order... I was confused of course but said OK, all dark meat was fine... Got my order and it was ALL white meat... wings and breasts. The chicken was hot and delicious but I wanted all dark meat. This location has gone downhill for some reason. Always some issue with something there... Sigh... Such a simple thing to read someone's order and confirm it before you send it out. Every time I have been here, it's disappointing. The food is terrible. Something was wrong with the chicken, it was overly greasy and soggy. The crust was peeling off/barely on and the chicken was a grayish color. It's really messed up to pay 23 bucks for a dinner and then have it be inedible. I would have gone back, but live kind of far away to make a big deal out of it. Just go to Frys grocery store for fried chicken and sides, it's cheaper for their dinners and the food is far superior, not too mention the employees are nicer LOL.
