Stopped in yesterday to fill an order and they were out of crispy chicken for the day. They did have regular, but were running low on that as well. In addition, they didnt have biscuits ready either so I had to wait 6 more minutes. They offered to give 4 cookies instead of biscuits but this wasnt my order so obviously we waited. If you want KFC, drive to another location; it will take you less time. I'm not a KFC fan, but my fiance is so I stopped here at his request. They get two stars because the food didn't taste bad, but the service is ridiculously terrible (like "Am I on a hidden camera show, because I can't believe this is happening?" terrible). The first thing the drive-thru operator told me was they had only original recipe chicken. I asked for a 5-piece tender box and was told they only have 2 tenders and can give me a "Chicken Little meal instead." I came for tenders, so I asked "You can't drop any more in the fryer?" He asked how many, said he'd have to check with the cook, and following a long pause said they would fry some more. There was still more than an hour left before closing, so that's just laziness. No, I don't want the 2 old tenders you have sitting there. If I was a manager, I'd be pissed knowing employees are losing sales by refusing to make food. I pulled up to the window and paid, then I was asked to park because there would be a wait for my tenders. I waited more than 20 minutes, and that's not exaggerated, for someone to bring my food out. I was tempted to just drive away, but I already paid and my fiance really wanted his tenders. A young lady took her sweet time bringing me the food and just handed it to me and said "Have a good day!" No apology for the wait. I also specifically asked for barbecue sauce and there was none, but I had zero interest in wasting any more of my time here. Originally I gave them a 5. Now they are a 1. I used to work for kfc so a part of me understands how long chicken takes. However, these are my complaints. 1) they changed their phone number but still have not updated up Yelp or google. So I couldn't pre order my hot wings that take 9.5 minutes to cook 2) they never chicken seriously, it's a fast food chicken restaurant. I understand that it takes time to make chicken. However, more than 4 separate occasions has he wait been 20 minutes. At this point, I have no idea why they don't understand to prepare during dinner rushes and lunch rushes. This place has a bunch of bad reviews! I went through the drive through and ordered a family meal grilled style. The food took half an hour wait in the drive through! Thus the two stars. It was typical fast food so can't complain there. I felt less guilty about getting the grilled version so as not to eat all that breaded skin. We don't typically buy fast food but I know what I'm getting when I go to one. So, it confuses me when people go to a fast food joint and are repulsed with the service and cleanliness. I came here with a coupon to get some food to go. I had the $3.99 coupon for a 2 piece chicken (drumstick and thigh), coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. I got the chicken extra crispy. The food was good but I felt like they gave me small pieces just so it would fit in the box with the sides and the biscuit. I've been to other KFC's and they would always put the chicken and biscuit in the box and then the sides in a different bag or separated from the rest of the food. The coleslaw is cold so putting the chicken next to it would kind of warm up the coleslaw. I don't think coleslaw is supposed to be warm. The service was ok. This was the main reason why it's only 3 stars. I ordered and the cashier had an attitude. She didn't seem like she wanted to be there and work. She didn't even ask if I wanted grilled, original or crispy. I had to tell her crispy. After telling her, then she proceeded to ask about the sides I wanted. I gave her my coupon and she gave it to her coworker to do the transaction. I gave her the money and then she just gave the receipt and forgot to give me my change back. I said "what about my change?" and then she forgot and had to get the key from a manager or something and had to open the register again to give me my change. The interior is alright. I have gone to this KFC a few times to find out that they are closed. The Drive-thru sign says the lobby closes at 9:00pm and the drive-thru closes at 10:00pm. So, I go to the drive thru and waited for someone to take my order at the board. No one ever greeted me. I go to the window and there is no one around and to top it off the place is lit up like it's open for business. So I call to see if they are open and they said they where closed. It was only 9:10pm. Lately, there have been a couple of times that my food was old or cold. Then tonight I go there plenty early so I can get my family some chicken. I got the 8 piece meal. They asked me to park because they were waiting for my chicken to cook. I waited 10 mins. in the heat of 110 Degrees, when I was walking in the crew member was walking out with 2 huge bags of food and then tells me it wasn't my food, that they were waiting on my breasts to cook. She offered to replace it with something else. I agreed and asked for thighs. They asked me at the window if I wanted any sauce and I requested some honey mustard, honey and butter. They didn't put that in there either but what they gave me to replace the breasts were chicken wings (what a rip off). I paid $25.00 for this meal and they didn't offer a soda or a dessert for the inconvenience. Seems like all that work there are kids. Wish I'd read the other reviews before I stopped here. Ordered three chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw and no soda. After 20 minutes waiting, which I was told was because of my chicken, and told that when I ordered it I was told it would be a long wait--not true. What I received was three soggy chicken thighs, when I pick them up the skin just slid off. A biscuit and coleslaw. They tried to give me soda too. So the only thing they got right with the coleslaw. I wish I could give this zero stars. Went there tonight and went through the drive thru. We sat in line for 30 minutes and moved forward one car. We left as there was 4 more cars in front of us. As always KFC has awesome gravy and great food except this time. The Chicken tasted old, and the gravy we paid extra for wasn't filled to the cutoff line. We asked for our receipt and they neglected to give to give to us. This was not the first time we had an issue but it was always corrected. We live approximately 21 mins. away. So it was/is not worth the drive back and without the receipt we could not call and address the issue. read more

These people are failures! It seems that the employees are extremely lethargic, rude, and borderline comatose. Most cannot enunciate to save their soul, so you have to try to decipher the mumbling drivel that sputters out between their drool-soaked lips. I haven't been there in months because, well...they suck and never get anything right. But, I took a chance last night and went through the drive-thru. After receiving my order, I took it home and found that they gave me the wrong order. So, I took it back and was told that they gave me that because that's all they had. I explained that it wasn't what I had ordered, and the woman replied with, "But, that's what we had so we gave it to you." Stupid response, but these are obviously not MENSA members. The manager came to the window and asked what I wanted. I explained that I paid for certain things, and handed her the receipt. She said she would bring it out to be and told me to park out front. I asked her if she was really going to bring it to me, and she stated that she would (I knew this was a lie, but I figured I would ask anyway). After waiting about 15 minutes, nobody came out. They actually closed the business for the night and didn't even refund me. Typical service at this location. The problem is that management knows how bad they suck, but they are content with being failures. Corporate should revoke their franchise. I have had the worst experience at all Tucson locations, but the worst 2 are located at: 2980 W Ina Rd Tucson, AZ 85741 and 8270 N. Cortaro road Tucson, AZ 85743. my mother loves KFC, but because of these awful locations I will never buy KFC again. every time I go to these 2 locations they never have exactly what I want and they do not want to make it. also, long wait times when there is nobody there. last night was the kicker for me. I was at the INA loc and I waited more than 10 min before I could place my order. when I did place my order for 2 $20 fill-ups at around 8:30pm (close at 10), they told me that they needed to check if they had enough chicken (original), however, I wanted extra crispy and they had none and told me that it would take an hr to get it ready. I placed the order for the original and pulled to the front to pay and was told after I paid to pull around to the parking lot and it would be a few minutes because they were waiting on the biscuits. by around 9:10 or so, they still had not brought me my food and all other ppl had left, so I moved my vehicle in front of the door and the girl who took my order had locked the doors (lobby hrs until 9pm) and was sweeping and looked like a ghost and totally forgot about my order. she did not come outside to apologize and to let me know it would be a few minutes longer. we banged on the door and still no one. I had to walk over to the drive thru side and see what the issue was. the gentleman said they were waiting on biscuits. I know for a fact it does not take 40 minutes to cook biscuits. the man that had just placed his order thru drive-thru was there and was also told to pull around. he got his order the same time I got mine, which was still about 10 min after I had spoken to the gentleman at the window. when the girl finally came out, she gave me the same excuse and I asked for a full refund and she told me they don't do refunds, would not give me any type of discount, which I still won't use because I will never go back. also, your employees don't know how to spell. they had a sign at the drive-thru window and on the lobby doors that they were hiring and it was spelled "hireing". there was also a time that I went to the cortaro loc and it was 10 min before the drive thru was supposed to close and they were already closed. read more

My husband loves fried chicken and I hate to cook fried chicken. I had a surprise birthday party this weekend for him on Saturday. So I went to KFC on Cortaro and picked up several buckets of the original and crispy and it was a hit with everyone. We did not eat at KFC, but the chicken was great at the house. If I could give negative stars I would. They're always out of something or they forget something. I don't know what type of training is received but it's not customer service. Every time they act inconvenienced by asking for something or alerting them you're missing something.
