I hate to write a poor review of a local restaurant because I know people need jobs. But this KFC is pretty bad. Lived In Wentzville for about 5 years and heard bad things about this location. But on a whim I went through the drive through. First they got my simple order wrong. Secondly, the chicken pieces were extremely small, third the extra crispy I ordered was greasy. The only thing that was decent was the mashed potatoes. How this place stays in business is amazing to me. Completely unacceptable experience. We ordered through DoorDash and almost the entire order was wrong or missing. A sandwich meal came with just 2 pieces of chicken (no sandwich or fries), the Famous Bowl was only mashed potatoes, and we didn't receive the extra fries we paid for. Even the mac & cheese was the wrong size. For a $50 order, receiving a $4 refund is frustrating and doesn't reflect the extent of the issue. Do not eat here. This has been my local KFC for years and I've had more bad experiences than good. Everything from screwed up order to being financially ripped off and getting food poisoning. Even had an experience where the lobby was locked and drive thru was backed up because the staff was inside blaring music and smoking pot. The staff doesn't care because management doesn't care and apparently corporate doesn't care that management is almost criminally incompetent. ​ This is without a doubt the worst restaurant I've ever seen They should be shut down and there should be legal investigations at the city, county, and state level because much of how they operate is unethical if not downright illegal. ​I will be contacting authorities. read more

Called the store for help and spoke to one very rude female employee who said yeah we know already we messed your order up. They wanted me to drive back to the store tonight over 35 minutes away from my home to pick up my food or get a refund. When I told her I could and would not do that but I would come in tomorrow for a refund she told me I would not be getting a refund tomorrow and hung up on me. It's fast food. Expectations are automatically lowered. That being said, this particular location has never messed up my or my family's orders. I have given this KFC so so many chances. Recently I asked for 2 thighs instead of 1 thigh and drumstick but still got the drumstick. I asked for mp but got coleslaw.
