I've lived and worked in the Middle East for years so I often miss the fine food I ate there so this was as close to the Middle East/Lebanese cuisine I've had in the St. Louis area. My server was friendly with great service and it didn't take long for my lunch but I wasn't in a hurry anyway. The owner took our order and went out of his way to help me select a "milder than mild" sauce. I am no longer able to tolerate very spicy foods which is a shame because the peri sauce is extremely flavorful. My husband always opts for the spiciest or nearly spiciest option and had his usual 1/4 dark chicken but chose flame-grilled corn on the cob, which was good but not the same as his usual rice. I decided to opt for the Falafel Rice with the lemon pepper sauce. I was not disappointed. The owner also provided us with a generous serving of hummus and pita on the house - a nice complement to the meal. I love that the food is prepared fresh and not sitting there waiting for me. It may take a bit of time but it is worth it. The new owner and staff are very friendly and happy to answer questions. The food is very good.
