Kinected is a unique and refreshing PT experience. The level of nuance and attention the Kinected therapists give you is far above other physical therapy offices I've been to. I've left other PT offices in tears because I felt that the therapist was assessing me without really listening to me. Kinected therapists make me feel heard and are committed to wholistic treatment. I was treated by Alison a few years ago for a lower back / SI issue. After healing, I went about my life for a few years. Two days ago I was cleaning and suddenly injured my back and was almost immobile. Maddie was able to see me within the next 24 hours. She took time to review my old charts from Alison, and was prepared when I came in with knowledge of my past injury. I had no expectation of the first appointment helping at all because of how much pain I was in. Maddie managed to realign my SI joint in the first session - I was so surprised I wanted to cry. I am now writing this review on the train because I feel like shouting from the rooftops! I can't believe how much better my back is after this one session, I have mobility again. I am an older dancer who has had knee problems throughout my career. I started seeing Jinny a year ago after tearing my meniscus, having a baker's cyst rupture, and still in pain after finish physical therapy through my insurance. While I knew I could dance again, I never thought I would be able to dance pain free. Jinny is not only prolonging my career, she has gotten my body back to a place that I can dance with abandonment. I've been working with Nolan for over 7 months and he's been able to help me move my body better compared to any other PT I've had. I originally went in for a hip impingement but after meeting Nolan he helped me see how my hypermobility and my posture were affecting my joints. I now know what type of exercise is best for my hypermobile body, while also gaining awareness to connect my mind to my body, something I've lost touch with in the past years. Nolan is knowledgeable and has a lot of passion towards his job and making sure his clients move and feel better. I have been working with KFMT, in both a personal and professional capacity, for seven years. As a client I have seen them for a wide range of issues: ongoing SI joint dysfunction, pelvic pain, hip mobility issues, knee and ankle joint dysfunction, and various shoulder and upper extremity issues. My experience with Elliot has been exceptional. I spent almost two years struggling with an overuse injury from running with flat feet and was getting nowhere with doing traditional PT exercises, using custom orthotics, and taking time away from running. A friend referred me to Elliot, and after a few sessions I'm back to running pain free.
