Felicia, using lymphatic drainage techniques, was able to reduce the swelling by 35-40%. After 2 years of trying other things that did not work and asking Doctors for help and not getting it, Mom started with Felicia and saw immediate and continued improvement. I also have had great results with Felicia. I was having trouble with my immune system, sick 4 times in 5 months. Since I started going to Felicia, I have not been sick once. Mom and I are both so grateful to have discovered Felicia's lymphatic drainage massages.

Winston was amazing at addressing my existing injury needs and overall tension points. It was by far one of the best massages I've ever received. I've been going to their Lexington Ave. location for close to 3 months already…read more While Dr. Iannicello is pretty good, his staff isn't and patients end up paying for this while we're in PAIN. Their insurance/billing department isn't the best. Some procedures require approval from your insurance which is understandable. The problem is that they'll tell you they'll call you once insurance approves so we can proceed and they never call you back. You would give them enough time to then call them and either things have already been approved or, they have not started the process. The receptionist lady is passive aggressive when asked certain questions regarding this. I get it, she's probably tired of this but also, it's not the patient's fault either. We're here in PAIN and it seems like they let work sit and wait for the patient to call so they could move on it. Everywhere else I go, they'll contact my insurance for approval and turnaround is usually about 2 days max but here, about a week, two weeks and ever longer. At one of my visits the lady receptionist didn't check me in till 45 minutes after my arrival and good thing the doctor noticed and was on it. Yesterday morning I called them because again, waiting for insurance to approve pain injections. The receptionist was passive aggressive and sighing as if this was my fault and said she'll speak to the doctor about it and hung up on me after. I had told her I would like to get this done by this week since I will have another insurance and that probably won't kick in till a couple of weeks or who knows how long and here I am IN PAIN because the meds given to me or PT hasn't been making any improvements with my issue. I also remember several times patients calling them saying they never received a callback from them regarding anything the office had to reach out to them. Receptionist would claim they did call but it's interesting the pattern of several people saying the same thing which makes me believe the patients and plus, here I am finding myself being on top of them as if I work there. I have not received any calls from the office and at this point I don't even feel like calling them and dealing with the receptionist while am in PAIN so decided to write this review so others could be aware of things that may happen when visiting this place. UPDATE: 2 days after leaving my review. I have not received a call from anyone at this office. I decided to call my insurance and they told me they just received the request from them today and they approved it right away for me to get my injection shots for my PAIN. I called their office and told them I have not heard back from them and the receptionist placed me on hold and came back asking me what time tomorrow I would like to go it. My theory was right all along about this place. The leave the patient's information just laying on their desk and do nothing about it unless you call in and they'll blame insurance or anyone else to cover up their actions. Thankfully because I was on top of them, I'll be able to get my shots before my current insurance ends. To say the least, this shows lack of consideration and is also HORRIBLE on their part given the circumstances patient's are enduring and the trust they give them.

While we expected a pain management based treatment plan, Dr. Johar was willing to make the call to refer us for PT and thankfully that has been a very successful course of treatment. I guess with board certifications in physical medicine as well as pain management he really understands when he should treat a patient for pain versus when to attempt to refer for another type of treatment. Thank you Dr. Johar!

You'd have to go back to review the unnecessary tests, of course, and that would probably cost another $367.50--and I'd wager there'd be no prescription then, either. Clearly, this guy is just trying to maximize his profit, not treat patients. Stay away! When I called later to get a copy of his office notes to take to a reputable provider recommended by my primary-care physician, I was told I had to pay to copy 38 pages. It simply is not credible that he has 38 pages of notes for a 10-minute visit. This guy is milking his patients for all the money he can get, not providing care. Sigh. Once again, he refers to medical records, which he did not request in advance nor offer to review. All he did was order unnecessary and expensive tests and ask me to come back, and pay another outrageous fee. 1. Dr. Johar appears to have no actual presence in New Jersey, so the whole premise is a sham. (The NJ listing shows a fictive address that I could walk to, but he does not practice there.) 2. The "physician's notes" I requested consisted of copies of three pages of a form I'd filled out and which he initialed. His only effort to record our visit was this form, alas. 3. The records came with a form (never before given me) that insists there must be two visits (and, thus, two fees), but it also says he takes most insurance. Mine is quite common, but he does not accept it. 4. The two scrips he gave me (I'll post pictures if I can) are both from New York--and invalid in New Jersey. Again, from the get-go, I indicated that I lived in--and required help in--NJ. They are also completely illegible.

This caused me a major inconvenience, and for me to suffer needless paid. The front desk receptionist who answers the phones was very incompetent, and did not call the pharmacy to rectify the problem, or call me back, as she said she would - twice... The worst! I will never be going back there, and if you're serious about your pain relief/management, do not ever go there. It looks to me to just be a money grab.

I've also been wanting to try Solidcore back at home, so it worked out that I got to try Solidcore for my drop-in visit. I noticed that the studio was minimal. They didn't appear to sell any merch, water, or even grip socks (I forgot mine). That being said, i was informed that I could use the megareformer with barefeet. I was relieved that I wasn't going to be denied for class! I noticed that was actually a common practice, unlike my home studio that requires grip socks during class. The Solidcore space reminded me a lot like how Soul Cycle is. Dimly lit, music bumping, basically working out in a club. I'm here for it. I took Marcus' 11:15am full body class, and it was fantastic. He was such a great instructor and helped to encourage deeper or more challenging movements by adjusting my form. I also appreciated him spending the time to go over how their megareformers worked. Only major difference I saw was the location of the springs on the machine, but I also thought it was cool how the resistance of the springs were recommended based on how far along you are in your Solidcore practice.

Never have I come across a fitness center that charges you to put your membership on pause or charges you for another month of membership even if you can't attend the classes because they want at least 30 days notice prior to cancellation. They also charge you for individual class cancellations if they were made 10-12 hours before the start of class as well as no shows... in any case, they should be grateful if that happened because it makes room for another to sign up. It's really off-putting and it shows that they are money-hungry without any consideration for their members. Things could come up in the last minute and not everyone is in the city full time. So the wellness aspect of this fitness center is pretty much lacking... I initially wanted to pause my membership for a few months and they said there's a fee to pause membership which was a surprise and it made absolutely no sense to me. So I changed my mind and decided opt for cancellation. Then they came up with all sorts of excuses, from saying that I had signed a contract which I never did... to asking me to email them a copy of a doctor's note which I don't have because it's not medical related... I just want my membership cancelled because I found the fees to be unethical. I just don't like unethical and controlling practices and I tend to avoid them... end of story. And yes they ended up charging me for another month knowing that I wouldn't be attending and said that I can give it to my friends or family which was so wrong... I ended up calling the credit card company to reverse it.
