For approximately two years, we have dealt with repeated late-night disturbances from the unit above us (running/stomping/banging/heavy impacts), frequently occurring past quiet hours (often after 11 PM into 12-2 AM), multiple nights per week. We have repeatedly reported this. Neighbors have also confirmed they can hear the same disturbance, including an elderly resident who stated they feel afraid/intimidated. My wife and I are both disabled, and management has been informed multiple times. We requested reasonable solutions, including a unit transfer as a disability accommodation, and were denied/dismissed. On January 28, 2026, during another late-night disturbance--while our child had just returned from the ER--onsite management sent a reprimanding text telling us to stop "banging" (tapping the ceiling), rather than addressing the ongoing disturbance source. We have preserved screenshots and documentation. We escalated this to Norris & Stevens corporate by email on January 28, 2026, requesting immediate intervention, written-only communication, and a clear accommodation plan. As of January 29, 2026, no response has been made. We have screenshots, logs, and recordings available. The silence and lack of accountability at the corporate level is unacceptable. If Norris & Stevens is your property manager, understand this: persistent disturbances can be ignored for years, disability accommodation requests can be brushed off, and escalation may be met with no response.

I was finally given my first payment 12 days after tenants moved into my house. I received a very small fraction of what they paid on move in. This was expected! Expensive, but expected. What was not expected was the re-key fee that Best Life charged me. I left complete sets of keys, there was no need to charge me the rekey. This shouldn't have been a big deal, but I received nothing but defensive communication in response. No apology. She offered to remove the fee but didn't apologize, when I explained why I was frustrated she FIRED ME. That was it. I would have loved for this to be a great experience with no hidden fees--this business advertises pricing transparency--but instead, on my very first disbursement there was a hidden fee. Disappointing to say the least. ALL I NEEDED WAS AN APOLOGY, INSTEAD SHE FIRED ME. I have no idea what will happen to my poor tenants.
