Pdx renovations shop the obituaries to find a house to buy or in my case, attempt to Fraudulently buy a house from someone who does not own it.If i was a dummy I could have fallen for their bs but im actually not stupid and know laws and rights. prior to them even "buying" the house they tried to get someone to come change the locks! they knew that the owner (my father in law)had died and then two months to the day after that, his son ( my 2 daughters dad) died in a motorcycle accident. they tried to tell me that my father in laws ex wife was selling the house which she lost her rights to the property in 2011 when they divorced, so then they got my father in laws brothers ex wife ( who was put on the deed in 2015-2017 for the sole purpose of transfering the house to my kids dad in case my father in law died, he had been sick a long time) she was removed and he was the sole owner in 2017 because obviosly she cannot be trusted. I submitted the successor papers and the divorce decree to the mortgage company, in that time they (his ex, his brothers ex wife and pdx renovations) quickly "bought" the house from Evelyn. they gave her 175,000. years ago my father in law bought it for 180,000 and 130,000 was still owed and the property itself is worth 4-500,000, then they tried to kick me and my kids out of the house that has always been meant for their dad(rip) then them. they went online and tried to sell the house and told people who had interest not to talk to us and that we were squatters! they filed for injunctive relief and to get me forcefully removed.i caught joseph taylor in so many lies in his trying to look legit comments on facebook.he even tried to deny pdx renovations had anything to do with it and told the internet i had refused to talk to them and gave a number for me to call them. so i posted screenshots of my pretty much daily arguments with the number he gave me which happened to be pdx renovations. this company should be called pdx variations because they have over 15 differnet business names registered to the same house in beavercreek all doing the same thing.plus more..so yes they gave someobody 175,000$ but they did not buy the house. they have a deed but its not valid, the county will not change ownership to them because the grantor wasnt on the deed, meaning the person who sold it didnt have any rights to sell it so the name and the deed remains in my father in laws name .they knew all along that my father in law was the sole owner and still didnt care. they try to say evelyn has survivorship and that isnt true at all, its a warranty deed and it will stay in my father in laws name until probate.they claim they own it al over the place yet... heres the funny part... They sent me a POSTCARD trying to buy the house!it even had my fatherin laws name on it!So after losing my father in law and my kids dad ( my kids lost pretty much their whole immediate family within two months!)they preyed and harrassed me and added stress and put me down on the internet calling us squatters and in court papers saying i was just a friend of the family and that i refused to give them their property. well it will never be theirs, it will remain in NORMAN STEACH's name until probate. My father in law had ME help him with his will because we are FAMILY. he left everything to jr ( mykids dad) and also in the will it states that if jr dies then his kids get what jr would have.pdx renovations aka pdxf2 in this case claims me and my kids have no claim on the house and that my kids are a third party because they are minors. i am their mother and i can absolutly and legally be responsible for their inheritance until they are 18.court is on the 1st for their attempt to forcefully remove my daughters and i from a house that is theirs through inheritance and the place they have lived and have always been welcome to.the ammount of stress and money for attorneys and harrassment and lies from these people is disgusting. My kids and i are going through enough! they need to back off and leave u be and move on to their next frauduent way of coming up off of people who have lost a loved one, in this case 2! My next step will be to go to the news if this doesnt stop and try to prevent anybody from dealing with crooks . i cannot wait to hear the lies they will respond to this review with, but im ready for it because joesph taylor is a bad liar and i can back up with proof everything i have said!Stay away from any business that starts with pdx, they are built on fraud and count on people to fall for their series of bs -Michelle read more

I have sort of been at a loss for words as to what to say in this review- My experience with this company was so great, and I don't want to come off as some sort of shill. However, I feel there are some really good things that need to be said about Joe and his company. He's done me a very good turn, and I think people should know the kind of guy he has proven himself to be in my eyes. My wife and I decided that it was time to sell our house and we wanted to do it fast. We figured our best bet would be to sell to a developer or a "We Buy Houses For Cash" type. We had a number of interested parties come through and look at the place and most of them left us with a downright greasy feeling by the time our interaction was finished. We go through the whole parade of them except one, PDX Renovations. By the time Joe stopped by, we were expecting more of the same. What happened next is still a bit mind boggling to me. Joe and another gentleman came in, looked around the house, asked a few questions, and then proceeded to tell us that our house was worth way more than any "Cash for House' company would ever give us, himself included. He even accurately guessed what price range the others had offered. He said that with a weekends worth of work it would be ready to sell for as much, if not more, than we paid for it. That's what he said- What I heard was: "I could offer you a little more than those other guys, send a few workmen over to clean up, and sell this place at a profit for almost no effort." In short he could have taken advantage of us, but instead had the integrity and honesty to offer us advice that has turned out to be life-changing in a very real way. He even set us up with a real estate agent who has proven to be an effective, affable, stand-up guy as well. I just wanted to let everyone know about our experience with PDX Renovations here in Portland Oregon. We had an immediate need to sell our home and contacted 6 so called "Cash For Houses" people to come over to look at it and make us an AS IS offer. Our house needed far too much work to go down the traditional avenue of having a realtor sell the place and we didn't have any cash to do the repairs that would definitely come up on a traditional sale. After making appointments with all of these cash buyers guys three of them didn't even show up for our appointment. One guy made us an offer without even coming inside the house. Another guy wrote up a really low and ridiculous offer which would have basically been trying to steal the house from us. Then Lastly Joe with PDX Renovations came in and for obvious reasons we were skeptical that his offer was going to be the same low ball style as the last guy. However it was not. Joe took the time to explain his offer, show us proof that he had the cash funds to close (which no one else even offered to do) helped us understand how the process would work and eased all our concerns by answering the questions we had for him. He was very shining and forthright in his entire dealings even telling us how much money he wanted to make off of the house sale after his remodel. WE did not accept PDX Renovations offer to buy our house but sat on the offer for over 20 days before we decided to take the offer. We called them back and agreed on the price and Joe agreed to activate the contract again. We have now closed the sale and are onto our next chapter in life and are very grateful for the help Joe with PDX Renovations did in fact give us. I would highly recommend PDX Renovations because they are ethical, moral, and they will take the time to explain things and even tell you what they intend to make off your sale to them-Who else would ever do that? read more

In late 2013 and due to an urgent family matter I realized I would need to move from Oregon to California and sell my home in the process. It had little equity in it, needed a tremendous amount of repair work, and I needed to sell it in 30 days or less. I would have never accomplished this without the help of Joe Taylor and PDX Renovations. Though he wasn't the first group I worked with, he did end up being the last and provided me support and guidance all along the way. I was inexperienced in this type of sale process and encountered fast cash/flip businesses showing interest and wanting to sign on my house without having an actual buyer or cash to complete the deal. I am writing this to tell you what an amazing person Joe Taylor & PDX Renovations is. We needed to sell our house and relocate for health reasons ASAP. We had been trying for a while to do "sale by owner". With this we had a lot of "investors" coming out of the woodwork. Joe educated us about "scams" out there, told us where to go to do our homework in checking out "other companies", We had two different "investors" back out on contracts at the last minute (within a week of closing) only to find out thru Joe that they were not investors at all. My father passed away and need to sell his house fast to cover expenses. This was a painless process and quick took less then a week to finish and close the deal. I didnt want to take a loan out to pay to do the repairs first and my wife had recently gotten out of surgery so that woulda been tough. Portland Renovations LLC encourages evicting and displacing tenants -- apparently just for using the extra time to pay rent that tenants are entitled to, under the current eviction moratorium.
