You don't want to go here! The interior of the facility is beautifully done, although the decor is not at all Korean. I would say modern American. They spent lots of money on the facility. It is divided into booths which look pretty much like booths everywhere, except that each table has a small grill in the middle of it. The idea is that they provide the ingredients and you cook your own food. The price is $18.95 per person (at lunch) and for this you are supposed to get three meats and three sides. I ordered beef brisket, pork steak and shrimp for my meat. One of the sides for each was steamed rice and I had an egg dish for my second side. I never figured out what my third side was. My wife also ordered beef brisket and shrimp. I don't remember what her third order was - she never got it. I never got my pork steak. We did get a platter of raw thin sliced beef brisket big enough to feed an army. The grill was very hot and we didn't have any oil to put on it so everything stuck. We each got three raw prawns for our shrimp order. They were good but it was hard to cook them properly. Our waiter was nice but he admitted that he had been there only two weeks. I wanted a Dos Equis but they didn't have it so I got a Miller Light for three bucks. I ate lots of over cooked brisket and got a tummy ache. What I should have done is gotten assertive and demanded that all of our questions be answered properly. A good waiter could have made all the difference in the world. read more

Was looking forward to trying this place. The food looked really good on photos, however we didn't even get the chance... Yelp and other info states it closes at 11pm but when we arrived at 9:15pm we were told they were not serving anymore and could only take to-go orders for a la carte items. Wow, don't let the price keep you away. We needed a restaurant like this in El Centro. The food was awesome, you have to try it to believe it. Very very good. And the service was the best I have experience in town. Our waitress was Ana, she was very knowledgeable, and sweet. Not as amazing as kbbqs we've been to in downtown LA but honestly me and my hubby were just happy they finally had a kbbq in the area after being stationed here for a 2 years. I personally enjoyed the beef belly, shrimp needs a rub or marinade but still good enough, and I enjoyed all the sides. It has all that you really need for a decent kbbq and the meat was decent. Kind of pricey but well worth it to not have to drive to San Diego or LA each wknd to get a fix! Lol read more

This place is great! You can eat as much meat as you want at no extra charge! The meat is marinaded and loaded with flavor. The side dishes are included with the price and are also all-you-can eat. You have to cook the food yourself, however, that is part of the experience. This is one those places you can have a nice long chat with some friends and enjoy your meal. We went there for lunch and the price was reasonable. The meats were good and some say there is no flavor to the meat but that's the way they come out unless you order certain ones that are marinated. You get to cook your own meats and it's definitely an experience! Our server did take a little longer then expected but understandable since they just opened; she seemed to have multiple duties other then serving. If they can hire more servers then it would be great ! Portion sizes are good and you can order three meats and there sides at a time. I'm from Yuma and came out to el centro with a group just to try this, and we were NOT disappointed! The place was absolutely pristine, the food was incredible, and the service was amazing! Our server was the sweetest little lady, she was super helpful when we didn't know what to do or how to cook certain things, she was very attentive and quick to bring out everything we asked for. I just felt a little bad for her because it seemed like she was the only one doing anything there. Between taking orders for us and the 3-4 other tables in there, running the food out, I even saw her in the back hand washing dishes! While the host guy was literally just leaning against the wall.... Yet despite that she was able to keep up with all our orders and seemed genuinely happy to be there! I wish I got her name because we loved her! We got the Standard all you can eat and stuffed ourselves silly, had the macaroon ice cream sandwiches for dessert (I HIGHLY recommend the mango) and only paid $60 for two people!! All in all we loved this place and will definitely be coming back. We all said how we wished we had one in Yuma because we would be there ALL THETIME! read more

I'll start with the pros, it's exciting that we finally have a KBBQ in the valley. the meats were okay and the atmosphere was great, very pretty. now let's get into the cons and suggestions for improvement. first of all the customer service was not that great. i understand they just opened and are getting use to things, however as soon as I walked in i heard employees arguing and complaining in front of customers and that already left a bad first impression in regard to their customer service. there wasn't any appetizers in our table to begin with. we had to wait for them to bring out the sauces for about 20-30 minutes, also with our drinks they took a very long time to deliver to our table. they did not have rice paper which is a very common food item to have at a KBBQ, I would make a suggestion to add that to the menu. another suggestion would be to have more dipping sauces for the meats. the servers should be more attentive to grill changes as they would take more than 10 minutes to change the grill when we requested a change. I will give it another chance in a few weeks, assuming the employees have gained more experience and have improved their customer service. read more

My husband and I tried this place and once was enough. The decor is beautiful but the service was mediocre. Other Korean places I have been to, the waiters are attentive. They explain the process and introduce the side dishes and they're constantly on hand if we have any problems. At this place, they just placed the meat and tiny sides on the table and left us on our own. Our meat came out dry and tasteless. The grill was creating alot of smoke and it wasn't until we caught the waiter's attention did he change it. We paid $60.00 for 6 small strips of meat and small bowls of pickled garnishes. Since we don't have large appetites, we only ate half and when we asked if we could have a box to take the leftovers, we were told we could not take the leftovers we had paid for. I guess they would rather throw it out. I didn't really argue it because the meat was very dry and had absolutely no flavor. Never wasting our money there again. They lost our business all for a a couple of strips of dry, flavorless meat. read more

First off, this place is way too expensive for the service that I received. I'm assuming that the owner is taking advantage of the fact that it's the only KBBQ place in the valley by charging a couple dollars more than your average KBBQ place in SD or LA. When it came down to the meat it was really good but the server didn't seem to know his meats very well. Our table asked for pork belly and beef brisket and he came back with only brisket. I asked him where the pork was and he points at the brisket saying that was it. Also, the workers need to be trained better when it comes to changing the hot plates. One of them changed the hot plate and carried it with tongs OVER MY HEAD. Also they were lagging on bringing drinks and extra tongs when we were the only table there that night. I'm going to give them the benefit of a doubt since they just opened but their customer service needs a major improvement if they are gonna charge $25 per person. You're mostly just paying for the atmosphere. P.S. they don't have rice paper which is disappointing :( read more
