I also love that they have most of the hispanic spices and brands that my Nana used when cooking for delicious meals for us growing up. Tamale season is fast approaching and this is my place to shop for all my cooking and baking holiday needs, masa, cheese, husks, meat, chilis and spices. Alos, I am lazy and do not want to bake my own pan dulce until Christmas time, so I buy it here!! Take the time to look around and shop, you might even find new items to try out.

I usually wait to buy my supplies before winter hits. I have a very hard time finding the Chinese sausage the Kam Yen Jan brand, not sure why it's hit and miss at stores, but it is, not sure if it just not popular in the east coast as much as it is in the west coast where I could buy it at any Asian market. Thought and suggestions on where I could purchase, would be greatly appreciated, because when I do find it, I usually buy about 10 packages. I found a wide variety of fresh produce, including unique Asian vegetables and fruits. The quality of the produce and other products was excellent. Everything looked fresh and well-maintained. You can see employees prepping and bagging/wrapping fresh produce. The meat and seafood counters were well-stocked. There was also a traditional chinese BBQ counter with things like Char Siu and crispy roasted pork which was a great and welcomed suprise to me. The aisles were filled with a good range of spices, sauces, noodles, and other pantry staples from different asian cultures that I stocked up on. You can tell the store was a little older and gives your traditional Asian supermarket vibes so if that holds you back, I would say give them a chance anyway as it is clean, well-organized, and reminds me of my childhood stores. Also, we are huge fans of the Deep brand cocktail samosas (50) to a bag and super easy to heat up and have for dinner when you don't want a big dinner and the Swad brand coriander chutney is perfect. As with any grocery store, I strongly recommend checking expiration dates before purchasing. In their fish department, be sure to examine the clarity of the fish's eyes to ensure freshness. The overhead sprinklers in the produce section can sometimes oversaturate the vegetables, so it is worth inspecting those carefully as well. The employees are not particularly chatty, but if you need assistance navigating the store, they are helpful and will point you in the right direction. The aisles are generally well organized and well stocked during the weekdays. On weekends, however, the store is more crowded, and there have been times when specific items I was looking for were either limited or unavailable. The ambiance is okay, and the parking is easy, as it is in a strip mall, and there are plenty of parking spaces.
