However, when I was billed for the full amount ($300+), they said my insurance rejected the claim because AllCare is no longer an urgent care center, but a primary care center. The AllCare representative I spoke to also spewed some nonsense about them being an "immediate care." Apparently, "immediate care" is different from "urgent care" when it comes to medical coding. Yes, he orders tests and will always make sure that he checks for anything that could possibly be wrong. Yes, he can get very busy at times and occasionally runs behind schedule. However, he genuinely cares for you. He is always personable and actually remembers you. He has no problems answering as many questions as you have and tries to relieve anxiety and fear. He will call you back and they will fit you into their schedule if needed without hesitation. They are reasonable in their care and suggestions but always keep your comfort and wellbeing in the forefront. My son who has autism will soon be transitioning from his pediatrician to a Family Physician and that will be Dr. Khim. He will run further tests until he can figure out what is wrong. He is very good about fitting people into his schedule whenever he can, even if that means working through lunch or late. The nurses are all very kind and if you call, he will always get back to you either by lunch time or at the end of the day. Sometimes the wait is long but that is usually because he has probably squeezed someone in who was sick, so I don't mind as I've been in the same position. I definitely recommend this practice and especially Dr. Steven Eversley.
