Dr. G. ordered a TEE test and determined the stroke was to to a PFO (a small bypass hole in my heart that had not closed since birth and allowed a small clot to enter my brain). Following her direction, I was sent to a surgeon who was able to close the PFO with a device, called an Amplatzer, in order to prevent a clot from causing another stroke. Since that time, I have had routine follow-up appointments to monitor my progress to recovery. Dr.G is very popular, but her time and advice has made my life to recovery very happy.

You don't know how many times I've had to call around to get a semi-decent appointment that isn't months away, let alone an office accepting new patients *insert upside down smiley face emoji* So, I've never had allergy problems, but experienced a random bout of hives that led to further (expensive lol) complications. I was advised to find an allergist that could help me diagnose the cause, so that it never happens again. Shudders in throwback memories. Found Allergy & Asthma Center through my insurance and immediately called right away and got booked for a few days later. The waiting area was large, with chairs clearly set up 6ft apart. I only had to wait a few minutes before getting taken back to see Dr. Korff. She was very straight to the point after hearing my story and we got right to testing potential environmental and food allergies. Unfortunately, we didn't get to the root cause of that random episode, but we knew what didn't cause the issue, which is just as good. Pretty sure I'm a one-and-done patient here, but definitely recommend for those who are looking for an efficient provider office.

Initially I tried to make an appointment at the Wilkens Avenue location, (they are only open on Thurs/Fri) but in order to be seen quicker, I came here first. I called Friday, my appointment was scheduled for the following Wednesday. I don't think that is too bad considering I'm a new patient. I was instructed to go on the website and complete the new patient information. Everything was pretty seamless. Location: On Gov. Warfield Pkwy, in the brown approx 6 story tall M&T building right outside of the mall nearest the entrance of the Nordstrom/Macy's. The building is fairly easy to spot. Ambience: The office is flippin huge! So much so that it can be slightly overwhelming. There are two sides to check in depending on which Doctor you are there to see, if you need allergy shots.... Staff: Check in was easy, I didn't wait long past my appointment time to be seen for vitals and the like. Dr. Neuman Sunshine was my assigned physician, she was absolutely wonderful! She had this awesome disposition, and she truly made me feel like she genuinely cares for her patients. She was very detailed in taking a history and totally took into account all of my concerns. She was easy to talk to and explained all options available to me. I'm really happy that I found this office, and will definitely be returning! Here's to being able to function during allergy season! 0kay . . . so I debated for a while about doing this review . . . I mean who really wants to hear…read moreabout my colonoscopy? But then I decided you're going to hear about it anyway. So with the pandemic and all, alongside my own procrastination, I scheduled first colonoscopy about half a decade later than I probably should have. Not so much because of the nature of the procedure itself. I've had much more awkward procedures. (I chose not to review my kidney stone removal.) It was simply my lead feet and resistance in accepting I've reached "that age". That being said, it was all pretty innocuous. The post procedure was easy enough. Drink some (not so terrible tasting) stuff the evening before followed by lots of clear liquids. (I'm purposely skipping some important details here.) Then repeat in the morning. The procedure itself was pretty unmemorable as well, literally and figuratively. The last thing I remember was hoping the anesthesia works and the next thing was someone asking if I wanted a Coke to drink. (Skipping some details of the results . . . . for your benefit, but there was nothing bad, just the usual I guess.) Overall it was a "good \_ 0_/ experience" and I have nothnegative to say about it. I do apologize fore the images I included with the review, although I thought they were hilarious at the time . . . . and the only other photos I have are the ones they gave me of the procedure and I don't think anyone wants to see those.

It was horrible! I had to call at least 7 times to get an update and when I called my information had not been added to the system. Therefore I had to speak with Rebecca the office manager to get an update and was assured that she would follow up with me; no follow up. I had to call her back. Finally I have the information I need. It only took 3 weeks and 2 days. I received an apology however it does not erase the experience. I am disappointed and hope that any future appointments/interactions will be a much better experience. Based on my experience and some of the comments the staff may need to have a refresher training on procedures,processes, standards and the customer experience. No one I spoke with had a clear answer for questions like "how soon should I expect a call back" or "how soon after an appointment should the patient info be loaded in the shared database" I feel that as a company there should be standards in place for simple questions like that.
