First of all, I did *not* actually do business with this company, though I tried. I called them to make an appointment, they called me back, but the guy just said "send me an email with your requirements, and I'll see about making an appointment for you." That isn't something he can do over the phone? Anyway, I sent him an email later that day, with a detailed description of my issue, and all my contact information. I never heard from him again. Khob Tax made a silly mistake with my SSN # for my state tax returns. They were doing my tax returns properly until last year. This time in 2021 Khob Tax messed up with wrong SSN numbers. Would recommend double and triple check after they fill your tax return forms. Once I first got in touch with them, they shared a questionnaire on their portal, and post that an in-depth phone conversation was booked where all my details were noted. Note that, all the documents have to be shared via their portal, so no email exchanges. After they complete the forms, they upload them on their portal where we can go/review and e-sign. I had been using them for filing my taxes for past 3+ years. They were absolutely great before. However, it has gone down-hill drastically this year. Not only have their prices gone up considerably since last couple of years, they have also become very less responsive as well. They were not only charging me 40% more than what they charged last year (for exactly, same number of states, fed and forms) but also were very slow. I also found their "new" staff is not competent enough to handle filings when there are tricky situations of multiple states filing. I won't recommend them anymore. Thanks! read more

Very Wort service Provided by Khob Tax and I will never recommend them for tax filing; They promise to provide you year long service but when you are in real need they will never turn up ; I used their service couple of years and on both the years I got RFE / request for additional information from IRS ; when I called their company asking service in Feb 2020 one of the agent states they cannot help now for any queries they will take up only after April 15 and hangs down the call ; Even when I mentioned that the query from IRS needs to be addressed immediately he states he cannot help ; They charge you so much stating they give year long service but turn you down when we are in need ; WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

FANTASTIC SERVICE !!! I was filing my own taxes but getting 'payment due' notices from IRS every year since 2013. After getting them in 2013, 2014 and 2016, I finally felt I am making some fundamental mistake and contacted Khob Tax to help me file my taxes for 2017 to avoid that hassle. They looked over each of my returns from 2013 onwards, and told me that I was filing the tax incorrectly and not declaring my tax basis, and thus overpaying the tax each year for IRS. Then they help me file amendments for each of those years for both state and federal. I submitted all the amendments by mail and especially the 2013 amendment one day before the 3 year deadline (on 4/15/2017.) I got refund for the other years, but IRS said they never got the 2013 amendment forms. Over the next few months, I mailed it multiple times and even faxed it, but each time IRS said they didn't get it, even though I had tracking confirmation. I had no option but to keep mailing again and calling IRS customer service. This went on for a year and all through this time, I kept talking to Balram from Khob tax and he kept calling and talking to IRS on my behalf to help me track also. I lost track of how many phone we made together, and how many tax returns I had submitted. But after almost a year of doing that, Balram recommended that I should go and hand over the forms in person at a local IRS office or talk to a tax advocate. I did both and finally got my return for 2013 today, and with state, it will almost be $5000 for 2013 alone! I am sure Khob tax handles a lot of clients and are really busy during the tax season. But I am really happy with the exceptional level of support that they provided me to help me get my return.
